Introduction
Congratulations on your choice to purchase Acme product!
For your convenience record the complete model number and the date you received the product, together with
your purchase receipt and attach to the warranty and service information. Retain in the event that warranty
service is required.
NOTE: The rating of this product (as marked on the product identication plate) is based on specic loading tests.
Normal use or the use of other recommended attachments may draw signicantly less power.
Important safeguards
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT.
WARNING: to reduce the risk of re, electrical shock or injury to persons or property.
• Always operate the product from a power source of the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on
the product identication plate.
• Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children or invalids. Do not allow children
to use it as a toy.
• Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, or after the product malfunction, or is dropped
or appears damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair
or placement.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product or exible cord to rain, moisture
or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of the product.
• This product should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water, such as bathtub, washbowls or any other
vessel containing water or other liquids, or when standing in/on a damp or wet surface.
• Switch o and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts and before
cleaning. Remove by grasping the plug-do not pull on the cord.
• Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on.

• Do not operate or place any part of the product on or near any hot surfaces (such as a gas or electric burner
or hotplate or in a heated oven).
• The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the product distributor may cause
personal or property hazards or injuries.
• Avoid touching hot surfaces, use handles and knobs.
• This product is intended for normal domestic / household use only.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• To avoid a circuit overload when using this product, do not operate another high-wattage product on the
same electrical circuit.
Earthing installation
DANGERS
Electric Shock Hazard
• Touching some of the internal components can cause serious personal injury or death. Do not disassemble
this appliance.
• Improper use of the earthing can result in electric shock. Do not plug into a socket until appliance is properly
installed and earthed.
TWOROUNDPIN PLUG
This appliance must be earthed. In the event of an electrical short circuit, earthing reduces the risk of electric
shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an
earthing wire with an earthing plug. The plug must be plugged into a socket that is properly installed and
earthed.
Consult a qualied electrician or serviceman if the earthing instructions are not completely understood or if
doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly earthed. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only
a 3-wire extension cord.
If a long cord set or extension cord is used:
a) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as high as the electrical
rating of the appliance.
b) The extension cord must be an earthing type 3-wire cord.

c) The long cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can
be pulled by children or tripped over unintentionally.
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC): the Acme appliance complies with all standards regarding electromagnetic
elds.

Operating instructions
• The cover is made of stainless steel and will become very hot and should not be touched during or
immediately following cooking. If you need to adjust the cover, be sure to use an oven mitt to prevent
burns.
• Thelowerhousingismadeofplastic,andwhileitwillbecomeverywarmitwillnotburnyou.Ifyouneedto
move the appliance during cooking, be sure to handle it from the base only. Do not touch the cover.
• Allowtheappliancetocooldownbeforehandling(letatleast30minuteselapse).
Usage
CAUTION: Do not use this product to cook or defrost frozen food. All food must be completely defrosted before
cooking it with this product.
NOTE: The rst few times this product is used, it may produce some smoke. This is normal and will subside with
further use.
1. Before using this product for the rst time, clean it as described in the “Cleaning” section. Make sure to
replace the Drip Tray.
2. Open the unit by pulling the Handle up.
3. Since the appliance has a non-stick coated surface, the use of butter or oil is optional.

4. Close the Plates and turn the unit on by plugging it into a standard electrical outlet.
5. After the unit preheats for approximately ve minutes, the Ready Indicator Light will show green, indicating
the product is ready for use.
6. Use the Handle to lift the Upper Plate. Place food on the Lower Plate using wooden or plastic heat-resistant
utensils.
CAUTION: Do not use metal utensils on this product, as they will scratch and damage the Plates’ non-stick coating.
7. Use the Handle to lower and rest the Upper Plate on top of the food.
NOTES:
•Thecookingtimefordierentfoodsdependsonthetypeandthicknessofthefoods.
•Foodsshouldbecookedthoroughlybeforeconsumption.
8. When the food is cooked to your liking, lift the Handle to open the Plates, then remove the food using the
utensils. If more cooking will be done at this time, close the Plates to conserve heat.
9. Turn o the product by unplugging the Power Lead from the electrical outlet.
10. When the unit has completely cooled, clean and dry it.
Cleaning
• Beforecleaning,unplugandwaitfortheapplianceandtheplatestocooldown.
• Wipetheoutsidewithonlyaslightlymoistenedclothensuringthatnomoisture,oilorgreaseentersthe
cooling slots.
• Wipetheplateswithadampclothortowel.

nish.

• Netinkamas įžeminimas gali sukelti elektros smūgį. Nejunkite prietaiso į maitinimo lizdą, kol prietaisas
tinkamai nesumontuotas ir neįžemintas.
KIŠTUKAS SU DVIEM APVALIAIS KAIŠTELIAIS
Prietaisas turi būti įžemintas. Trumpojo elektros jungimo atveju įžeminimas sumažina elektros smūgio riziką
nukreipdamas elektros srovę į žemę. Prietaiso maitinimo laidas ir kištukas yra su įžeminimo kontaktu. Kištuką
reikia įkišti į tinkamai sumontuotą ir įžemintą kištukinį lizdą.
Jei nesuprantate įžeminimo nurodymų ar abejojate dėl atlikimo, pasikonsultuokite su kvalikuotu elektriku ar
prižiūrinčiu asmeniu, kad prietaisą įžemintumėte tinkamai. Jei reikalingas ilgintuvas, naudokite tik ilgintuvą su
trimis laidais.
Jei naudojate ilgintuvą:
a) Ilgintuvo elektros charakteristikos turi būti tokios pat arba aukštesnės nei prietaiso.
b) Ilgintuvas turi būti su trimis laidais, vienas jų – įžeminimo.
c) Ilgintuvo laidas neturi būti nukaręs nuo stalo, nes vaikai gali jį sučiupti ar už jo užkliūti.

Naudojimo instrukcijos
• Gaubtaspagamintasišnerūdijančioplieno irlabaiįkaista,tadkepimometu ariškart potojonereikėtų
liesti. Prieš pradėdami reguliuoti gaubtą, užsimaukite virtuvinę pirštinę – nenudegsite.
• Apatiniskorpusaspagamintasišplastiko,tačiaunenudegins,norskepimometusušyla.Jeikepimometu
prietaisą norite perkelti, imkite tik už jo pagrindo. Nelieskite gaubto.
• Baiguskepti,prietaisastegulatvėsta(bent30minučių).
Naudojimas
DĖMESIO: Nenaudokite šio prietaiso ruošdami ir atšildydami šaldytą maistą. Visas maistas, ruošiamas šiuo
prietaisu, turi būti atšildytas.
PASTABA. Pirmą kartą naudojamas prietaisas kelias pirmas minutes gali rūkti. Tai normalu, vėliau dūmų nebebus.
1. Prieš pirmą kartą naudodami prietaisą, jį nuvalykite taip, kaip aprašyta skyriuje „Valymas“. Nepamirškite
įstatyti riebalų surinkimo indo.
2. Atidarykite prietaisą pakeldami už rankenos.
3. Kadangi prietaiso kepimo paviršius nelimpantis, nebūtina jo patepti sviestu ar aliejumi.
4. Prietaisą uždarykite ir įjunkite – elektros kištuką įkiškite į standartinį elektros lizdą.
5. Kai prietaisas maždaug penkias minutes pašils, užsidegs žalia pasiruošimo lemputė, tai reikš, kad prietaisą
galima naudoti.
6. Suimkite už rankenos ir pakelkite viršutinę plokštę. Ant apatinės plokštės mediniais ar karščiui atspariais
plastikiniais įrankiais uždėkite maistą.
DĖMESIO: Nenaudokite metalinių įrankių, nes jie gali subraižyti ir sugadinti nelimpantį sluoksnį.
7. Suėmę už rankenos nuleiskite viršutinę plokštę ant maisto.
