1. SAFETY INFORMATION
Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully
read the supplied instructions. The manufacturer is not
responsible for any injuries or damages that are the
result of incorrect installation or usage. Always keep the
instructions in a safe and accessible location for future
reference.
1.1 Children and vulnerable people safety
•This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
•Do not let children play with the appliance.
•Keep detergents away from children.
•Keep children and pets away from the appliance when
the door is open.
•Children shall not carry out cleaning and user
maintenance of the appliance without supervision.
1.2 General Safety
•This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as:
–farm houses; staff kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other working environments;
–by clients in hotels, motels, bed & breakfast and
other residential type environments.
•Do not change the specification of this appliance.
•The operating water pressure (minimum and
maximum) must be between 0.5 (0.05) / 8 (0.8) bar
(MPa)
•Obey the maximum number of 15 place settings.
•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its Authorised Service Centre or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

•Put the cutlery in the cutlery basket with the sharp
ends pointing down or put them in the cutlery drawer
in a horizontal position with the sharp edges down.
•Do not leave the appliance with the open door
unattended to avoid stepping accidentally onto it.
•Before any maintenance operation, deactivate the
appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the
socket.
•Do not use high pressure water sprays and/or steam
to clean the appliance.
•If the appliance has ventilation openings in the base,
they must not be covered e.g. by a carpet.
•The appliance is to be connected to the water mains
using the new supplied hose-sets. Old hose sets must
not be reused.
2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 Installation
WARNING!
Only a qualified person must
install this appliance.
• Remove all the packaging.
• Do not install or use a damaged
appliance.
• Do not install or use the appliance
where the temperature is less than 0
°C.
• Follow the installation instruction
supplied with the appliance.
• Always take care when moving the
appliance as it is heavy. Always use
safety gloves and enclosed footwear.
• Make sure that the appliance is
installed below and adjacent to safe
structures.
2.2 Electrical connection
WARNING!
Risk of fire and electrical
shock.
• The appliance must be earthed.
• Make sure that the parameters on the
rating plate are compatible with the
electrical ratings of the mains power
supply.
• Always use a correctly installed
shockproof socket.
• Do not use multi-plug adapters and
extension cables.
• Make sure not to cause damage to
the mains plug and to the mains
cable. Should the mains cable need to
be replaced, this must be carried out
by our Authorised Service Centre.
• Connect the mains plug to the mains
socket only at the end of the
installation. Make sure that there is
access to the mains plug after the
installation.
• Do not pull the mains cable to
disconnect the appliance. Always pull
the mains plug.
• This appliance complies with the
E.E.C. Directives.
• UK and Ireland only. This appliance is
fitted with a 13 A mains plug. If it is
necessary to change the mains plug
fuse, use only a 13 A ASTA (BS
1362) fuse.

2.3 Water connection
• Do not cause damage to the water
hoses.
• Before connection to new pipes, pipes
not used for a long time, where repair
work has been carried out or new
devices fitted (water meters, etc.), let
the water flow until it is clean and
clear.
• Ensure that there are no visible water
leaks during and after the first use of
the appliance.
• The water inlet hose has a safety
valve and a sheath with an inner
mains cable.
WARNING!
Dangerous voltage.
• If the water inlet hose is damaged,
immediately close the water tap and
disconnect the mains plug from the
mains socket. Contact the Authorised
Service Centre to replace the water
inlet hose.
2.4 Use
• Do not sit or stand on the open door.
• Dishwasher detergents are
dangerous. Obey the safety
instructions on the detergent
packaging.
• Do not drink and play with the water in
the appliance.
• Do not remove the dishes from the
appliance until the programme is
complete. Some detergent may
remain on the dishes.
• The appliance can release hot steam
if you open the door while a
programme operates.
• Do not put flammable products or
items that are wet with flammable
products in, near or on the appliance.
2.5 Internal light
WARNING!
Risk of injury.
• This appliance has an internal lamp
that comes on when you open the
door and goes off when the door is
closed.
• The lamp in this appliance is not
suitable for household room
illumination.
• To replace the lamp, contact the
Service.
2.6 Service
• Contact the Authorised Service
Centre to repair the appliance. We
recommend only the use of original
spare parts.
• When you contact the Authorised
Service Centre, ensure that you have
the following information that is
available on the rating plate.

2.7 Disposal
WARNING!
Risk of injury or suffocation.
• Disconnect the appliance from the
mains supply.
• Cut off the mains cable and discard it.
• Remove the door catch to prevent
children and pets to get closed in the
appliance.

3.1 TimeBeam
The TimeBeam is a display that is shown
on the floor below the appliance door.
• When the programme starts, the
programme duration comes on.
• When the programme is completed,
0:00 and CLEAN come on.
• When the delay start starts, the
countdown duration and DELAY
come on.
• When the appliance has a
malfunction, an alarm code appears.

When AirDry is activated
during the drying phase, the
projection on the floor may
not be completely visible. To
check the remaining time of
the running programme, look
at the control panel display.

4.1 Key behaviour
Navigation keys (up and down)
• Use these keys to scroll the lists and
information texts that show on the
display.
Option key
• Short press will enter the option list.
• Short press in the option list takes you
back to the programme list.
• Short press in the settings list takes
you back to the option list.
• Long press (3 sec.) when a delay start
or a programme is running will delete
the delay start, the programme and
options. The display shows the default
programme: ECO.
OK key
• Short press: Confirms the selection of
the programme, options and settings.
• Long press: Starts the MyFavourite
programme.
If no programme has been saved it
will display the setting Set
MyFavourite.

1) With this programme you have the most efficient use of water and energy consumption
for crockery and cutlery with normal soil. (This is the standard programme for test institutes).
2) The appliance senses the degree of soil and the quantity of items in the baskets . It auto‐
matically adjusts the temperature and the quantity of water, the energy consumption and the
programme duration.
3) With this programme you can wash a load with mixed soil. Very heavy soil in the lower
basket and normal soil in the upper basket. The pressure and the temperature of the water
in the lower basket are higher than in the upper basket.
4) With this programme you can wash a load with fresh soil. It gives good washing results in
a short time.
5) With this programme you can quickly rinse dishes to prevent remains of food to bond on
dishes and odours to form in the appliance. Do not use detergent with this programme.

1) The pressure and the temperature of the water, the variations of the mains supply, the
options and the quantity of dishes can change the values.
5.2 Information for test
institutes
For all the necessary information for test
performance, send an email to:

6.1 Settings list
To see the settings list, select Settings in
the option list.

6.2 How to change a setting
with 2 values (ON and OFF)
When a setting is changed it will remain
valid even if the programme is completed
or a running programme is cancelled.
1. Press the Option key.
2. Select Settings.
3. Press the OK key.
4. Select the setting to change.
5. Press the OK key to change the
value from ON to OFF or vice versa.
6. Press repeatedly the Option key until
the display shows the programme
list.
6.3 How to change a setting
with multiple values
When a setting is changed it will remain
valid even if the programme is completed
or a running programme is cancelled.
1. Press the Option key.
2. Select Settings.
3. Press the OK key.
4. Select the setting to change.
5. Press the OK key to enter the next
level.
6. Select the new value.
7. Press the OK key to confirm.
8. Press repeatedly the Option key until
the display shows the programme
list.
6.4 Starting the MyFavourite
programme
1. Press and hold OK for about 3
seconds until the display shows the
MyFavourite setting.
2. Close the appliance door to start the
programme.
6.5 How to save the
MyFavourite programme
You can only save 1 programme at a
time. A new setting cancels the previous
one.
1. Press the Option key.
2. Select Settings.
3. Press the OK key.
4. Select MyFavourite.
5. Press the OK key.
The display shows the programme list.
6. Select a programme.
7. Press the OK key.
8. The display shows Add option and
Done.
• Select Done if you want to save a
programme without options and
press the OK key.
