IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use.
If this product is passed to a third party, then these instructions
must be included.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always
be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to
persons including the following:
• Read all instructions before using this product.
• This product is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin
touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this product.
Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers,
clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the product
and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when the product is used by or near
children, people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
and whenever the product is left operating and unattended.
• Always unplug the product when not in use.
• Do not operate the product with a damaged cord or plug or after
the product malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any
manner. Discard the product or return to authorized service facility for
examination and/or repair.
• Do not use outdoors.
• This product is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and
similar indoor locations. Never locate the product where it may fall into
a bathtub or other water container.
• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs,
runners or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture or
appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be
tripped over.
• To disconnect the product, turn controls to off, then remove plug from
outlet.

• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust
opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the
product.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any
manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may
become blocked.
• Internal parts of this product get hot, arc or spark. Do not use it in areas
where gasoline, paint or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this product only as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or
injury to persons.
• Always plug the product directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use
with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Warnings
• Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from product and
properly disposed.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
• Remove batteries from product if it is not to be used for an extended
period of time unless it is for emergency purposes.
• If the battery leaks avoid contact with skin and eyes. Rinse affected
areas immediately with plenty of clean water, then consult a doctor.
• Keep the button cell batteries away from children. Risk of ingestion and
suffocation!
• The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
• Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the appliance before
being charged.

Intended Use
• This product is intended for temporarily heating residential rooms.
• This product is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.
• This product is intended to be used in dry indoor areas only.
• No liability will be accepted for damages resulting from improper use or non-compliance with
these instructions.
Before First Use
• Check for transport damages.
• Before connecting the product to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and
current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the product rating label.
• Remove the protective strip from the remote control’s battery compartment.
Risk of suffocation! Keep any packaging materials away from children – these
materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.
Operation
The product can be operated via the control panel on the main unit, or the
remote control. Point the remote control towards the IR receiver in the lower
left corner of the front grill (A).
Connection
Connect the power plug (G) to a suitable wall outlet.
Once connected to the power supply the power indicator (B) lights up.
Switching on/off
• To switch on the product, press the power button (C). The thermostat indicators (F) light up.
• To switch off the product, press the power button (C) twice.
After switching off, the power indicator (B) blinks and the product blows cold
air for 60 seconds to cool down. When the cooldown is complete, the fan
stops and the power indicator (B) lights up continuously.

Thermostat control
After switching on, the product starts to run on the default setting. The default
setting of the product is 85 °F.
• To increase the temperature, press the temperature up button (D).
• To decrease the temperature, press the temperature down button (E).
The available thermostat settings are:

After reaching the set temperature, the power indicator (B) starts blinking.
The product blows cold air for 60 seconds and then switches off. When the
room temperature drops below the set level, the product switches on again
automatically.
ECO mode
In the ECO mode the product cycles between the low and high settings.
• To switch on the ECO mode, turn on the product and press the power button (C) once. The
green ECO indicator lights up.
• To switch off the ECO mode, press the power button (C) again. The product switches off.

Replacing the battery

• Remove the battery holder from the remote control.
• Replace the used battery with a new CR2025 3 V battery. The positive pole (+) must be
pointing upwards.
• Slide the battery holder back in place.
Replace the battery if the range of the remote control decreases noticeably or if
the heater cannot be controlled via remote control.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Risk of electric shock! To prevent electric shock, unplug before cleaning.
Risk of electric shock! During cleaning do not immerse the electrical parts
of the product in water or other liquids. Never hold the product under running
water.
• To clean, wipe with a soft, slightly moist cloth.
• Dry the product after cleaning.
• Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to
clean the product.
• For storage, wrap the power cord (G) around the power cord hooks (J), and remove the battery
from the remote control.

Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
Unexpected noise. • It is normal operation sound. Once the heater
heats up, the crackling sound goes away.
Unexpected smell. • It is the result of dust or other debris accumulating
on the heating element. This is normal during
first use and after prolonged storage. Make sure
the product is placed in a well ventilated area.
Keep the product switched on, until the smell
disappears.
Polarized Plug
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug will fit outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in
any way.
Battery Disposal
Do not dispose of used batteries with your household waste. Take them to an
appropriate disposal/collection site.
