IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are
present, basic safety precautions should always be followed,

DANGER: As with most electrical appliances,
electrical parts are electrically live even when the switch
is off. To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:
1. Always “unplug it” immediately after using.
2. Do not use while bathing.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
5. If an appliance falls into water, “unplug it” immediately. Do
not reach into the water.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of burns,
electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been

4. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in
this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by
Andis.
5. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or
plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been damaged or
dropped into water. Return the appliance to an Andis
authorized service station for replacement if under warranty.
6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to avoid a hazard.
7. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not wrap the
cord around the appliance.
8. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
9. Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a
soft surface such as a bed or couch, where the air openings
may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, etc.
10. Never use while sleeping.
11. Never drop or insert any object into any openings.
12. Do not use this appliance to dry synthetic, natural, or
human wigs.
13. Do not use outdoors, or operate where aerosol (spray)
products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
14. Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat sensitive
areas.
15. While using the appliance keep your hair away from the air
inlets.
16. Do not operate with a voltage converter.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).As a safety
feature,the plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way.If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still doesn’t fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
IONIC TECHNOLOGY
The ionic technology is activated when the dryer is in use. Ionic technology breaks
up water molecules, which results in quicker drying time and helps make your hair
softer and shinier.
SET-UP AND USE
NOTE: Stop the dryer and take the bonnet off immediately if you feel any
discomfort. Drying times will vary with different hair types.
1. Place the dryer on a level,heat-resistant table or countertop.
2. Open the lid and gently remove the power cord, hose and bonnet.
3. Connect the power cord to outlet.
4.Attach the hose to the bonnet by snapping the tabs on the hose locking ring into
the locking ring on the bonnet.
5.Towel-pat and untangle wet hair to remove excess water and to shorten drying time.

6.While the dryer is OFF, place the bonnet over hair and pull drawstring to tighten if
necessary. The bonnet should not cover sensitive areas such as the ears and parts
of the neck.
7.Turn the dryer ON by choosing either the HIGH or LOW fan setting.The HIGH fan
setting is best for very wet hair; the LOW fan setting is for more gentle drying or
touch-ups.
8. Select the HOT temperature setting.
9. For best curl results, select theWARM setting for a few minutes at the end of
drying time to “set” the curls.
10.After use, take the bonnet off and unlock it from the hose. Let dryer, bonnet and
hose cool down until they are no longer warm to the touch.Then fold the bonnet
and store it in its compartment in the dryer case. Gently loop the power cord and
store it in the case as well. DO NOT wrap the power cord around the dryer.
11.You can stand the dryer up on its side when not in use for easy storage.
USER MAINTENANCE
This appliance does not require special maintenance or lubrication.If any
malfunction occurs, DO NOT attempt to repair it yourself; contact an Andis authorized

Untwist cord before use.After use,re-wrap cord and store unit in a safe place.
Do not wrap cord around appliance.Do not hang the unit by the power cord.
AIR INTAKE GRILL
Periodically check the air intake grill for lint build-up and clean with a small brush or
vacuum if necessary.
CLEANING
• The dryer must be unplugged before it is cleaned.
• To clean the dryer or bonnet, clean the external surfaces with a sponge or soft rag
moistened with a mild soap and water solution. DO NOT immerse in water or any
liquid.
• Do not use harsh cleaners, abrasives, detergents,or solvents.
• Dry the dryer and bonnet thoroughly before use.

MANUFACTURER’S 12 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
This Andis product is warranted against defective material or workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase. All express
and implied warranties arising out of and applicable to the product by virtue of State law shall also be limited to 12 months from
the date of purchase. Any Andis product determined by Andis to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty
period will be repaired or replaced, at Andis’ sole discretion, without cost to the consumer for parts and labor. To qualify for
this limited warranty, the defective product must be returned via parcel post insured or U.P.S., with proof of purchase to Andis,

Due to foreign matter sometimes found in hair and for other reasons,clipper blades or the resharpening of blades are not subject

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una patilla es más ancha que la otra).
Como característica de seguridad,el enchufe podrá colocarse en un tomacorriente
polarizado de una sola manera. Si el enchufe no puede insertarse completamente
en el tomacorriente, invierta el enchufe.Si aún no puede insertarse, comuníquese
con un electricista calificado.No trate de anular esta característica de seguridad.
TECNOLOGÍA IÓNICA
La tecnología iónica se activa cuando el secador está en uso.La tecnología iónica
descompone las moléculas de agua, lo que produce un tiempo de secado más
rápido y ayuda a lograr que su cabello quede más suave y brillante.
INSTALACIÓN Y USO
NOTA: Detenga el secador y quítese el gorro inmediatamente si siente
cualquier tipo de malestar. Los tiempos de secado variarán con los diferentes
tipos de pelo.
1. Coloque el secador sobre una mesa o mostrador nivelados, resistentes al calor.
2.Abra la tapa y extraiga delicadamente el cable eléctrico,la manguera y el gorro.
3. Conecte el cable eléctrico al tomacorriente.

4. Conecte la manguera al gorro enganchando las lengüetas sobre el anillo de
bloqueo de la manguera en el anillo de bloqueo del gorro.
5. Seque el pelo dando ligeros golpecitos con la toalla y desenrede el pelo para
eliminar el exceso de agua y reducir el tiempo de secado.
6. Mientras el secador está apagado, coloque el gorro sobre el pelo y tire del cordón
para ajustarlo,en caso de ser necesario. El gorro no debe cubrir áreas sensibles
tales como las orejas y partes del cuello.
7. Encienda el secador eligiendo el ajuste alto (HIGH) o bajo (LOW) del ventilador.
El ajuste alto (HIGH) del ventilador es óptimo para pelo muy mojado; el ajuste
bajo (LOW) del ventilador es para un secado más suave o retoques.
8. Seleccione el ajuste de temperatura caliente (HOT).
9. Para obtener los mejores resultados en rizos,seleccione el ajuste templado (WARM)
durante unos pocos minutos al final del tiempo de secado para “fijar” los rizos.
10. Después del uso, quítese el gorro y desengánchelo de la manguera.Permita
que se enfríen el secador,el gorro y la manguera hasta que ya no estén calientes
al tacto.Seguidamente, pliegue el gorro y almacénelo en su compartimiento,
dentro del estuche del secador.Con cuidado,pliegue el cable eléctrico y
almacénelo también en el estuche. NO enrolle el cable eléctrico alrededor del
secador.
11. Puede apoyar el secador de canto cuando no esté en uso, para facilitar el
almacenamiento.
