Important:
• Thewatersupplypressurerequiredtorun
themachinemustbe1-10bar(0,1–1MPa).
• Connectthespecialhosessuppliedwiththe
machinetothewaterintakevalvesonthe
machine.
• Ifyouaregoingtouseyourdoublewater-
inletmachineasasingle(cold)water-inlet
unit,youmustinstallthestopper*,supplied
withyourmachinetothehotwatervalve.
• Ifyouwanttousebothwaterinletsofthe
product,youcanconnectthehotwaterhose
afterremovingthestopperandgasketgroup
fromthehotwatervalve.

• Modelswithasinglewaterinletshouldnot

Whenreturningtheappliancetoitsplaceafter

Connecting to the drain
Thewaterdischargehosecanbeattachedto
theedgeofawashbasinorbathtub.Thedrain
hoseshouldbefirmlyfittedintothedrainasto
notgetoutofitshousing.
Important:
• Theendofthedrainhosemustbedirectly
connectedtothewastewaterdrainortothe
washbasin.
• Thehoseshouldbeattachedtoaheightof
atleast40cm,and100cmatmost.
• Incasethehoseiselevatedafterlayingit
onthefloorlevelorclosetotheground
(lessthan40cmabovetheground),water
dischargebecomesmoredifficultandthe
laundrymaycomeoutwet.
• Thehoseshouldbepushedintothedrainage
formorethan15cm.Ifitistoolongyoumay
haveitshortened.
• Themaximumlengthofthecombinedhoses
mustnotbelongerthan3.2m.

3 Initial preparations for
washing
Preparing clothes for washing
Laundryitemswithmetalattachmentssuchas,
bras,beltbucklesandmetalbuttonswilldamage
themachine.Removemetalattachmentsor
placetheitemsinaclothingbag,pillowcase,or
somethingsimilar.
• Sortthelaundryaccordingtotypeoffabric,
color,anddegreeofsoilingandpermissible
watertemperature.Alwaysfollowtheadvice
onthegarmentlabels.
• Placesmallitemslikeinfants’socksand
nylonstockings,etc.inalaundrybag,pillow
caseorsomethingsimilar.Thiswillalsosave
yourlaundryfromgettinglost.
• Wash“machinewashable”or“hand
washable”labeledproductsonlywithan
appropriateprogram.
• Donotwashcolorsandwhitestogether.
New,darkcoloredcottonsmayreleasealot
ofdye.Washthemseparately.
• Useonlydyes/colorchangersandlime

Starting the Program

Progressing a program
Progressofarunningprogramisshownthrough
theprogramfollow-upindicator.Atthebeginning
ofeveryprogramstep,therelevantindicator
lampwilllightupandlightofthecompletedstep
willturnoff.
CIfthemachineisnotspinning,theprogram
maybeinrinseholdmodeortheautomatic
spincorrectionsystemhasbeenactivated
becauseofexcessiveunbalanceddistribution
oflaundryinthemachine.
Changing the selections after the
program has started
Youcanusethisfeatureafteryourmachinehas
startedtowashdifferenttextilegroupsinthe
samebatchofclothesunderhigherorlower
temperatures.Youmustcanceltheongoing
programinordertochangethewashing
program.
Forexample,pressandholdthe“Start/Pause/
Cancel”buttonfor3secondsto“Cancel”the
programinordertoselect“Cottons40”program
insteadof“Cottons60”program.Selectthe
“Cottons40”programbyrotatingtheprogram
knob.Press“Start/Pause/Cancel”buttontostart
theprogram.
Switching the machine to standby
mode
Press“Start/Pause/Cancel”buttonmomentarily
toswitchyourmachinetothestandbymode.
Auxiliaryfunctionscanbecancelledorselected
inaccordancewiththesteptheprogramisat.
Thedoorcanbeopenedifthewaterlevelis
suitable.Laundrymaybeadded/takenoutby
openingthedoor.
Child-proof lock
Youcanprotecttheappliancefrombeing
tamperedbychildrenbymeansofthechild-
prooflock.Inthiscase,nochangecanbemade
intherunningprogram.
Thisfunctionprotectstheappliancefrombeing
tamperedbychildren.Inthiscase,allofthe
buttonsareinactiveexceptOn/Offbutton;by
On/Offbuttonyoucanwhetherstoporresume
(whilechild-lockon)theprogramofyour
machine.
Themachineisswitchedtochild-lockby
pressingthe1stand2ndauxiliaryfunctionsfrom
theleftfor3sec.1stauxiliaryfunctionlightwill
flashcontinuously.Todeactivatethechild-proof
lock,pressthesamebuttonsfor3sec.

Ending the program through
canceling
Inordertocanceltheselectedprogram,press
the“Start/Pause/Cancel”buttonfor3seconds.
Themachinestartstodischargethewater.
“Wash”and“ProgramFinished”lightswilllight
up.“Start/Pause/Cancel”and“Wash”lightswill
gooffafterdischargingprocessisoverandthe
“Lid”lightwillstartflashing.“Lid”lampwilllight
upcontinuouslywhenthedoorisunlocked.
Iftheprogramiscancelledinthemiddleof
theprocess,“Wash”and“ProgramFinished”
lightswilllightup.Themachinecandrainallthe
waterorcantakeinwaterfor3timesatmost
tocooldowntheclothesandcompletedraining
process.Whenthewaterdischargingprocess
iscompleted,the“Wash”lightwillgooff,the
“ProgramFinished”lightwilllightupandthe
“Lid”lightwillcontinuouslyflashuntilthedooris
unlocked.
End of program
The“ProgramFinished”lampontheprogram
follow-upindicatorwilllightupwhenthe
programcomestoanend.Thelidisunlocked2
minuteslater,the“ProgramFinished”and“Lid”
lampswilllightupcontinuously.Themachineis
nowreadyforasecondcycle.
Ifanykeyispressedwhenthemachineisat
theendoftheprogramorifthepositionof
theselectionknobischanged,the“Program
Finished”lightwillgooffandonlythe“Lid”lamp
willremainaslit.Ifthedoorisstilllocked,the
“Lid”lightwillcontinueflashinguntilthedooris
unlocked.
Pressthe“On/Off”buttontoshutdownthe
machine.
5 Maintenance and cleaning
Detergent Drawer
Removeanypowderresiduebuildupinthe
drawer.Todothis;
1. Pressthedottedpointonthesiphoninthe
softenercompartmentandpulltowardsyou
untilthecompartmentisremovedfromthe
machine.
C Ifmorethananormalamountofwater
andsoftenermixturestartstogatherinthe
softenercompartment,thesiphonmustbe
cleaned.
2. Washthedispenserdrawerandthe
siphonwithplentyoflukewarmwaterina
washbasin.
3. Replacethedrawerintoitshousingafter
cleaning.Checkifthesiphonisinitsoriginal
location.
Inlet water filters
Thereisafilterattheendofeachwaterintake
valveatthebacksideofthemachineandalso
attheendofeachwaterintakehosewherethey
areconnectedtothetap.Thesefiltersprevent
theforeignsubstancesanddirtinthewaterto
enterintothemachine.Filtersshouldbecleaned
astheygetdirty.
• Closethetaps.
• Removethenutsofthewaterintakehosesto
cleanthesurfacesofthefiltersonthewater
intakevalveswithanappropriatebrush.
• Ifthefiltersareverydirty,youcanpullthem
outbymeansofpliersandcleanthem.
• Takeoutthefiltersontheflatendsofthe
waterintakehosestogetherwiththegaskets
andcleanthoroughlyunderstreamingwater.
• Replacethegasketsandfilterscarefullyto
theirplacesandtightenthehosenutsby
hand.
Draining any remaining water and
cleaning the pump filter
Yourproductisequippedwithafiltersystem
whichensuresacleanerwaterdischargethat

Ifyourproductisnotsuppliedwithan
emergencydrainhose,dothefollowingas
showninthefigurebelow:
• Placealargecontainerinfrontofthefilterto
receivewaterflowingfromthefilter.
• Loosenpumpfilter(anticlockwise)untilwater
startstoflowoutofit.Directtheflowing
waterintothecontaineryouhaveplacedin
frontofthefilter.Youcanuseapieceofcloth
toabsorbanyspilledwater.
• Whenthereisnowaterleft,turnthepump
filteruntilitiscompletelylooseandremoveit.
• Cleananyresiduesinsidethefilteraswellas
fibers,ifany,aroundthepropellerregion.
• Ifyourproducthasawaterjetfeature,be
suretofitthefilterintoitshousinginthe
pump.Neverforcethefilterwhilereplacing
itintoitshousing.Fitthefilterfullyintoits
housing;otherwise,watermayleakfromthe
filtercap.
4-Closethefiltercap.
Closethetwo-piecefiltercapofyourproductby
pushingthetabonit.
Closetheone-piecefiltercapofyourproductby
fittingthetabsonthebottomintotheirpositions
andpushingtheupperpartofit.
extendspumplifebypreventingsoliditemssuch
asbuttons,coinsandfabricfibersfromclogging
thepumppropellerduringdischargeofthe
washingwater.
• Ifyourmachinefailstodrainthewater,the
pumpfiltermaybeclogged.Youmayhave
tocleanitevery2yearsorwheneveritis
plugged.Watermustbedrainedofftoclean
thepumpfilter.

Therefore,thefiltermustbecleanedonly
aftertheinsidewateriscooleddowntoavoid
hazardofscalding.
2-Openthefiltercap.Thefiltercapmaybe
composedofoneortwopiecesaccordingtothe
modelofyourmachine.
Ifitiscomposedoftwopieces,pressthetabon
thefiltercapdownwardsandpullthepieceout
towardsyourself.
Ifitiscomposedofonepiece,holditfromboth
sidesandopenitbypullingout.
3-Anemergencydrainhoseissuppliedwith
someofourmodels.Othersarenotsupplied
withthisitem.
Ifyourproductissuppliedwithanemergency
drainhose,dothefollowingasshowninthe
figurebelow:
• Pulloutthepumpoutlethosefromits
housing.
• Placealargecontainerattheendofthe
hose.Drainthewateroffintothecontainer
bypullingouttheplugattheendofthehose.
Iftheamountofwatertobedrainedoffis
greaterthanthevolumeofthecontainer,
replacetheplug,pourthewaterout,then
resumethedrainingprocess.
• Afterdrainingprocessiscompleted,replace
theplugintotheendofthehoseandfitthe
