GATEWAY
Gateway power source should be:
• Continuous, 12V or 24V power source
• Grounded to the vehicle chassis
• Find an existing cab access hole, or a location to
make a 1/2 inch hole, to route the external cables to
the inside of the cab.
• Power harness and externally mounted antennas
must have enough length to reach the gateway.
• Excess cable put into service loop and stored in an
open volume behind a trim panel or other safe spot.
• Right, Left, or Center of cab
• Points DOWNWARD
• Protrudes below bottom of cab
• Does not contact anything when
cab airbags deated.

Step 5.1: Clean and prepare the GPS antenna mounting surface and cable routing area
A. Clean the surfaces where the GPS adhesive and adhesive cable tie mounts attach.
SECTION 5. MOUNT GPS ANTENNA AND ROUTE CABLE
• Avoid placing GPS less than 6" away from
any vertical metal plates, including the back
wall of the cab as it can aect GPS signal.
• DO NOT put tight bends in cable near anten-
na. Let the cables follow a natural path.
Too close to rear of cab (vertical metal)

min. 6"
Step 5.2: Attach the GPS antenna
A. Apply loom to the GPS antenna cable.
B. Remove the 3M adhesive backing and place
the antenna in the desired location.
C. Secure cable with zip tie 1-4" from antenna.
D. Apply rm pressure to any adhesive mounted
components for approximately 15 seconds to
ensure optimal adhesion.
Preferred GPS Location: Top Fairing Bracket
Alternative GPS Location: On top of dashboard

Step 5.3: Route GPS antenna to bottom of cab
A. Route the loomed antenna cable to the bottom of the cab, towards the cabin access hole, securing
the cable at least every 12 inches.
GPS CABLE ROUTING GUIDELINES
• Do not bend or stretch antenna cables too tightly when routing.
• Keep a minimum bend radius of 1/2" for GPS to prevent signal transmission issues
• When routing the cables avoid sharp edges that may cut or abraid the cable or heat sources that
may melt the cable.
• Only attach adhesive cable tie mounts to flat, clean surfaces. Do not mount them on curved or dirty surfaces.
SECTION 5. MOUNT GPS ANTENNA AND ROUTE CABLE (CONT'D)

9
Step 6.1: Install TPMS bracket
A. Attach the provided TPMS bracket to the rear of the cab in your previously selected location. Be
sure the TPMS antenna will protrude below the bottom of the cab
Step 6.2: Attach TPMS antenna to bracket
A. Loom TPMS cable enough to reach to cab access hole.
B. Attach the TPMS antenna cable to the bracket and tighten.
TIGHTEN: Finger tight + 1 turn
C. Attach the TPMS antenna onto the cable then carefully tighten.
TIGHTEN: Finger tight + 1/4 turn, until snug.
The TPMS antenna
must be oriented pointing DOWN-
WARD to ensure good reception
from the TPMS sensors.
TPMS CABLE ROUTING GUIDELINES
• Do not bend or stretch antenna cables too tightly when routing.
• A minimum bend radius of 1" for TPMS must not be violated to prevent signal transmission issues.
• When routing the cables avoid sharp edges that may cut or abraid the cable or heat sources that may melt the cable.
• Do not use adhesive cable tie mounts on curved surfaces. Only attach them to clean, flat surfaces.
SECTION 6. MOUNT TPMS Antenna
Test t the TPMS antenna prior to attaching bracket
to make sure it will protrude past the bottom of the cab and will
not contact anything, even when cab airbags are deated.
TIGHTEN:
Finger tight + 1 turn
with 5/8" wrench
TIGHTEN:
Finger tight + 1/4 turn
with pliers

Step 7.1: Find or make the cab access hole
A. Use the existing access hole located during the planning
step, or make a 1/2 inch access hole, in the bottom of the
cab to route cables for externally mounted antennas into
the cab.
CAB ACCESS HOLE GUIDELINES
• Conrm that no airlines, wiring, or other items on the exterior of the vehicle will be damaged when the drill punctures
the oor. Failure to do so may cause damage to the vehicle.
• The cab access hole should be in a location where stored items or foot trafc won't repeatedly smash or bend the
cable where it enters the vehicle.
SECTION 7. ROUTE GPS & TPMS ANTENNA CABLES INTO THE CAB
CAB ACCESS HOLE

Preferred cabin access hole: Exisiting grommeted hole
Alternative cabin access hole: Make 1/2 hole and use provide grommet
