PREPARATION
Please read and understand this entire manual before attempting to assemble, operate or install the
product.
WARNING
• The product should be installed by a locally licensed plumber.
• Please do not use plumber’s putty on plastic components. Use silicone caulk if sealant is required.
•Wheninstallingtheexiblehose,pleasenotethereshouldbenotorsionordeformation.
Do not fold it into a V or L shape, and do not use it if there is any cracks or damage.
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package
contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
assemble the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 12 minutes
Tools Required for Assembly (not included): Adjustable wrench, silicone sealant, groove joint plier.
• Prior to beginning installation, turn off the cold and hot water lines and turn on the old faucet to
release build-up pressure.
•Wheninstallingthefaucet,rsthandtightenconnectornuts.Thenuseonewrenchtoholdthe
ttingandasecondwrenchtotightenthenutanadditional1/4turn.Connectionsthataretootight
will reduce the integrity of the system.

2. Unscrew lock nut (G) from shank of faucet
body (D). Remove lock nut (G), rubber washer
(E) and metal washer (F) from shank of faucet
body (D).
3a. Without deck plate installation: Install
faucet body (D) through top of sink (not
included).

5. Slide rubber washer (E) and metal washer
(F) onto shank of faucet body (D). Secure
faucet body (D) to sink with lock nut (G) and
preassembled screws.

4. Unscrew preassembled screws on lock nut
(G)untiltheyareushwiththefaceofthe
lock nut (G).
3b. With deck plate installation: Place a bead of
clear silicone sealant (not included) around
the base of the putty plate (C). Place putty
plate (C) and deck plate (B) on sink (not
included). Insert faucet body (D) through
deck plate (B).

7. Remove plastic cap from discharge tube (L),
then attach quick connector (J) to discharge
tube (L). Pull down on quick connector (J)
to ensure it is secure.
Note: For removal, see QUICK
CONNECTOR REMOVAL, page 8.
8. Unscrew preassembled screw on weight
(K). Locate lowest point of the hose (I) on
the spout side and attach weight (K) by
reassembling halves and tightening preas-
sembled screw.
6. Attach supply lines (L) to shut-off valves
and hand tighten.
Usingawrench(notincluded),nishwith
one-half turn. Do not overtighten.

QUICK CONNECTOR REMOVAL
1. To remove the quick connector (J) from
hose (I), push the housing of quick
connector (J) upward. Hold clip and housing
together and pull downward.
WARNING: Be careful so as not to cut
hands.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Clean periodically with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool and harsh chemicals as
thesewilldullthenishandvoidyourwarranty.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Leak from under handle. Retainer nut has come loose.
O-ring on cartridge is dirty or
damaged.
Tighten the retainer nut. Clean
or replace O-ring.
Aerator has an inconsistent
waterowpattern.
Aeratorisdirtyormistted. Remove aerator, check for
debris in the aerator screens,
andconrmtherubberwasher
is properly installed.
Water leaks from aerator Cartridge needs to be replaced. Remove handle assembly, trim
cap and locking nut. Take out
existingcartridgeanddiscard.
Replace with new cartridge and
reassemble.
Low water pressure Quick connector is clogged with
debris.
Turn off water supply and
disconnect the quick
connector from the discharge
tube. Unscrew the quick
connector from the hose and
clean under running water.
Screw back onto hose and
connect back to discharge tube.
Testwaterow.Ifwater
pressure is still low then replace
the quick connector.

instructions. You may be required to present a copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase. All
costofremovalandreinstallationaretheexpressedresponsibilityofthepurchaser.Anydamageto
thefaucetbyaccident,misuseorimproperinstallation,orbyafxingaccessoriesnotproducedby
the manufacturer, are the purchaser’s responsibility. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility
whatsoeverforfaucetinstallationduringthewarrantyperiod.Thereisnofurtherexpressedwarranty.
The manufacturer disclaims any and all implied warranties. The manufacturer shall not be liable for
incidental, consequential or special damages arising at or in connection with product use or
performanceexceptasmayotherwisebeaccordedbylaw.Thiswarrantygivesyouspeciclegal
rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. This warranty supersedes
all prior warranties.
