INSTALLATION
1. PREPARE THE ARMS - Insert four Silver M3x10mm Button Head Screws (R240 #1)
into the Arms.
2. ATTACH THE ARMS –Insert the arm screws into the Bottom Plate and fasten with four
M3x10mm Aluminium Spacers (R240 #1).

3. ATTACH THE PDB/FC MOUNTING SCREWS - Insert four M3x25mm Button Head
Screws (R240 #2) into the central holes of the Bottom Plate and fasten with M3x6mm
Nylon Spacers (R240 #2).
4. ATTACH THE MOTORS –The arms suit motors with either M3 or M2 style bolt holes.
M3 style motors can be installed using either the 16mm or 19mm spaced holes. Eight
M3x6mm Motor Screws are provided in the Spare Hardware package (R240 #6). Only two
screws are required per motor.
The M3 motor mounting pattern for each arm is different from the left side to the right side.
The arms can be rotated horizontally to find the best mounting position to suit the motor
wire exit angles.
M2 style motors can be installed using the smaller 2mm slots.
5. ATTACH THE ESCS –The ESCs can be attached to the frame in a number of different
configurations.

Internal - Attach the ESCs to the Bottom Plate either side by side or inline (only suitable
for small narrow ESCs). Internal ESCs will sit underneath the Mid Plates and must be less
than 10mm in height. This configuration hides the ESCs together with most of the wiring
for a cleaner installation.

External –Attach the ESCs to the Arms. This configuration is recommended for high-
power setups where thermal issues may arise, the prop wash can be used to help cool the
ESCs. This configuration also allows easier access to the ESCs for programming or repair.
6. CONNECT THE MOTORS & ESCS - Solder the Motors to the ESCs.
7. ATTACH THE PDB - Press the PDB onto the central mounting screws and fasten with
M3 Nylon Nuts (R240 #2).

8. CONNECT THE PDB - Solder the ESC battery wires to the PDB. Also solder a battery
connector to the PDB and any other wiring required such as FPV gear, LED lights,
telemetry, etc.
9. ATTACH THE MID PLATES - Press the Mid Plates onto the central mounting screws
and fasten with M3x6mm Button Head Screws (R240 #1) & M3 Nylon Nuts (R240 #2).
10. ATTACH THE FC - Press the Flight Controller onto the central screws and fasten with
M3 Nylon Nuts (R240 #2). Connect the ESC wires to the FC.

NOTE –The PDB & FC boards can be arranged in different configurations by using
different combinations of the nylon locknuts & nylon 6mm/10mm spacers provided.
11. INSTALL THE RC & FPV GEAR - Attach the RC and FPV gear to the Mid Plates. The
FPV camera can be mounted using the optional FPV Camera Mount or alternatively it can
be attached directly to the Bottom Plate using its mounting bracket together with an M3
bolt/nut using the slot provided. The FPV antenna can be mounted to the Top Plate in two
different positions. It is recommended to use a coaxial extension cable when mounting the
antenna.
12. ATTACH THE TOP/BOTTOM PLATE SPACERS –Align the M3x35mm Nylon
Spacers (R240 #3) with the outer holes of the Bottom Plate and fasten with M3x6mm
Button Head Screws (R240 #4).

13. ATTACH THE TOP PLATE - Align the Top Plate with the spacers and fasten with
M3x6mm Button Head Screws (R240 #4).
14. SETUP THE RADIO & FC - Setup the radio and flight controller as per the
manufacturer’s instructions.
15. ATTACH THE HD CAMERA MOUNT –Insert four Anti-vibration Dampeners (R240
#5) into the HD Camera Mount then attach it to the Top Plate using the sets of 5mm holes.
The HD Camera Mount can be attached to the front or the rear for different views.
16. ATTACH THE PROPS - Add clock-wise (CW) props to the front-left and the rear-right
motors, add counter clock-wise (CCW) props to the front-right and rear-left motors.
