Installation
WARNING Turn off gas o he appliance and make sure i has fully cooled prior o conduc ing service.
1 Remove he glass frame and logs (see he ins alla ion manual for de ails).
2 Remove he fron and rear gra es (see he illus ra ion below).
1/4" Nutdriver
Remove the grate from both sides.
NOTE: lift the burner to remove the grate.
3 Remove and discard he s eel ember rays.
Remove and discard the steel
ember trays.

firebacks in o posi ion.

WARNING:
When replacing he gra e
do no drag he gra e
across he firebacks ( hey
damage easily). You may
need o lif he burner
sligh ly while ins alling he
gra e. NOTE: These tabs are bent out when using the accent light. Make sure
to carefully bend them flush if the accent light was previously installed
(then reposition them after firebacks are installed).
6 Ins all he side firebacks
following he direc ions
below.
7 Res ore he fireplace o
he correc configura ion.
Place the side firebacks into position.
Remove the clips on both sides (loosen the screws
a couple turns and slide clips up and out).

Secure the clips to anchor
the side firebacks.

The ceramic firebacks are fragile. Ensure proper alignment of individual pieces in each
step. To achieve the ideal appearance, you may need to make slight adjustments.
