utilisation sur tous types de che-

veux. Sur des cheveux ns, déli-

cats ou colorés, il est recomman-

dé de programmer le fer sur les

températures les plus basses. Pour

des cheveux plus épais, les tem-

pératures les plus hautes peuvent

être utilisées. Il est recommandé

de réaliser un test préalable pour

s’assurer que le niveau de tempé-

rature adéquat a été sélectionné.

Commencer par le niveau le plus

bas et augmenter jusqu’à ce que le

résultat souhaité soit obtenu.

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION

Attention : ne pas poser le fer di-

rectement sur une surface fragile

en utilisation. Toujours utiliser le

tapis isolant et le support de pro-

tection prévus à cet eet.

• Appuyer sur l’interrupteur de

fonctionnement (I/0) pour

mettre l’appareil en marche et

jusqu’à ce que l’écran LCD ache

160°C en clignotant.

• Le fer à boucler achera systé-

matiquement 160°C chaque fois

qu’il sera mis en marche.

IMPORTANT : dans les 4 secondes

qui suivent la mise en marche de

l’appareil, la température va se

verrouiller de manière automa-

tique. Le réglage de la tempéra-

ture au niveau souhaité peut se

faire immédiatement après avoir

allumé l’appareil (avant donc que

le laps de temps de 4 secondes

ne s’écoule). Si toutefois le ver-

rouillage survenait quand même,

maintenir appuyé soit le bouton

+, soit le bouton – pendant 1 à 2

secondes pour changer le niveau

de température.

• La température peut être aug-

mentée par paliers de 5°C de

160°C à 210°C.

NOTE : Toujours commencer par

régler la température à un niveau

bas avant d’augmenter progressi-

vement si nécessaire.

• La température va s’acher en

clignotant jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit

atteinte. Un changement de ré-

glage est toujours possible dans

cet intervalle.

• Lorsque la température sélec-

tionnée est atteinte, l’achage

devient xe.

ATTENTION ! Cet appareil peut

atteindre une température de

210°C. Ne jamais mettre les par-

ties chaudes du fer en contact di-

rect avec la peau, en particulier les

oreilles, les yeux, le visage et le cou.

CONSEILS D’UTILISATION

• S’assurer que les cheveux sont

secs et démêlés. Enler le gant de

protection thermorésistant sur la

main qui va enrouler les cheveux

autour du tube chauant.

• Prendre une section de cheveux

en partant à environ 5 cm du cuir

chevelu.

• Tenir le fer légèrement incliné

l’embout isolant tourné vers le

bas.

• Enrouler la section de cheveux

autour du tube chauant. S’assu-

rer que les cheveux sont répartis

de manière homogène tout le

long du tube et qu’ils ne se che-

vauchent pas.

• Maintenir pendant 5 à 8 secondes

selon la nature et la longueur des

cheveux.

• Pour dérouler la mèche, relâcher

la pointe des cheveux et retirer

l’appareil.

• Laisser la boucle refroidir avant

de la manipuler.

• Répéter cette action autant de

fois que nécessaire sur toute la

chevelure. Reposer le fer sur son

tapis isolant entre deux sections.

• Après utilisation, appuyer pen-

dant 1 à 2 secondes sur l’inter-

rupteur de fonctionnement (0/I)

pour éteindre l’appareil et le dé-

brancher.

• Laisser l’appareil refroidir sur son

socle avant de le ranger. Pour

plus de protection, le placer dans

sa trousse de rangement.

GANT DE PROTECTION THER-

MORESISTANT

IMPORTANT : un gant de pro-

tection thermorésistant est livré

avec l’appareil pour protéger la

main de tout contact avec le tube

chauant lors de l’enroulage des

cheveux. Attention, ce gant ne

protège que dans le cadre d’un

contact involontaire et éphémère.

Tout contact prolongé avec les

zones chaudes de l’appareil en-

trainera une sensation d’incon-

fort, voire de brûlure.

TROUSSE THERMORESISTANTE

Le fer est livré avec une trousse

thermorésistante destinée à pro-

téger les surfaces de la haute

température de l’appareil en uti-

lisation et à le ranger après utili-

sation.

En utilisation ne pas placer l’appa-

reil même posé sur sa trousse ther-

morésistante sur des surfaces trop

fragiles. Après utilisation, éteindre

et débrancher l’appareil. Le laisser

refroidir sur ton tapis thermoré-

sistant et le placer ensuite dans la

partie prévue à cet eet.

IMPORTANT : les parties en satin

noir de la trousse ne sont pas ther-

morésistantes et l’appareil ne doit

pas y être posé, ni être en contact

tant qu’il est encore chaud.

ARRÊT AUTOMATIQUE

Cet appareil est pourvu d’une

fonction d’arrêt automatique

pour plus de sécurité. Si le fer est

maintenu allumé pendant plus de

72 minutes en continu, il s’étein-

dra automatiquement au-delà. Si

vous souhaitez continuer à utiliser

l’appareil, il sura d’appuyer sur

le bouton 0/I pour le remettre en

fonction.

ENTRETIEN

• An de permettre aux fers DIGI-

CURL de conserver longtemps

leur haute performance, s’assurer

que les tubes chauants restent

propres. Lorsque les appareils

sont froids et débranchés, utiliser

un linge humide pour essuyer le

tube chauant et le nettoyer de

tout résidu de produit de coif-

fage.

• S’assurer que le cordon d’alimen-

tation n’entre jamais en contact

avec le tube chauant en utilisa-

tion ou en période de refroidis-

sement.

• Avant de ranger l’appareil, s’assu-

rer qu’il a complètement refroidi.

• Pour éviter de l’endommager, ne

pas enrouler le cordon d’alimen-

tation autour de l’appareil. Tou-

jours le ranger à ses côtés.

care to avoid the hot surface of the

STYLING ADVICE

• Ensure hair is dry and combed

through. Before styling make

sure the heat protection glove is

worn on the hand which is wrap-

ping the hair around the barrel.

• Take a section of hair starting

around 2 inches from the scalp.

• Hold the iron at a slight angle

pointing the cool tip downwards.
