Environmental note
Note
: Before discarding an old appliance, switch off and
disconnect it from the power supply. Cut off and render any plug
useless. Cut the cable off directly behind the appliance to prevent
misuse. This should be undertaken by a competent person. Disable
the door lock to make sure that children cannot get stuck inside
the appliance.

Important safety information
Your safety is of the utmost importance to Baumatic.
Please make sure that you read this instruction ooklet
before attempting to install or use the appliance. If you
are unsure of any of the information contained in this
ooklet, please contact the Baumatic Customer Care
Department.
General Safety
oRepairs to your appliance must only e carried out y a
Baumatic engineer or one of its authorised service agents. Any
attempt y an inexperienced person to repair the appliance,
could result in injury or damage to your washing machine.
oIf you notice that the mains ca le is damaged. The appliance
must not be used The same applies if you notice that the
worktop, control panel or ase area is damaged. As this could
allow access to the internal components of the machine.
oThe appliance should e switched off and isolated from the
mains supply, efore either cleaning or maintenance work is
attempted.
oThe mains ca le must not e used to pull the plug out of the
electrical socket.
oThe machine should not e sprayed with water.
oThe glass of the porthole door may ecome hot during the higher
temperature wash programs.
oThe machine should e allowed to cool efore carrying out an
emergency drain or cleaning the drain filter.
oIt is possi le for small animals to chew either mains ca les or
water hoses, which could cause an electric shock hazard.
Installation
oThe installation instructions contained within this user manual
should e followed.
oIt is o ligatory for the completed installation to comply with all
relevant uilding regulations and local water authority
requirements.

oBefore the first use of the appliance, we advise that a
90°C cotton wash is completed No garments should be
placed inside the machine; however a small amount of
detergent must be used
During Use
oIt is recommended that the appliance is unplugged and the
water supply is switched off after the machine is used.
oThis appliance is only designed to wash and dry normal domestic
washloads. If you use your washer dryer in any other way or it is
incorrectly used, then Baumatic accepts no lia ility for any
damage that might e caused and any guarantee will e void.
oNo attempt should e made to alter or modify the specifications
of this appliance.
oThe detergents that you place in this appliance should e
suita le for automatic washer dryers. With regards to dosage
levels, the detergent manufacturer’s recommendations should e
followed.
oYou should not wash garments that have een in contact with
flamma le materials.
oYour washer dryer should not e used for dry cleaning.
oIf you use either dyes or leaching agents inside this machine,
then you should consult with the manufacturer of these products
to make sure they are suita le for use in your washer dryer.
Baumatic cannot e held responsi le for any damage that may
result.
oItems such as foam ru er, shower caps, waterproof textiles,
ru er acked articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam
ru er pads should not e dried in the washer dryer.
oNever stop the washer dryer efore the end of the drying cycle
unless all items are quickly removed and spread out so that the
heat is dissipated.
Child Safety
oYour washer dryer should only e used y adults. You should not
allow children in the area of the machine unsupervised. You
should not let them touch the controls or play with the appliance.

oIt could e possi le for a child or pet to gain access to the
washer dryer through the porthole door. Therefore please check
the drum efore using the appliance.
oAny packaging that is removed from the machine should e kept
away from children.
oAll detergents should e kept out of children’s reach in a safe
place.

Door open button
A safety device prevents the door from eing
opened immediately after the end of the cycle. You
should wait for 2 minutes after the program has
finished and ensure the door security light on the
cycle progress indicator has gone out efore
opening the door. If the door is not closed, the indicator
will continue to flash
Program selection knob
This control kno allows you to select the washing or drying program
of your choice. You can rotate the kno in oth directions.
Delay start button
This utton can e used to program a delay start of 3, 6 or 9
hours. The relevant indicator will light to show your selection.
See the section “Delay start feature” on pages 21-22 for
instructions.
Spin speed selection button
The spin cycle is important to remove as much water as
possi le from the laundry without damaging the fa rics. You
can adjust the spin speed of the machine to reduce the
maximum speed. The relevant indicator will light to show your
selection.
You can use the utton to light this sym ol to select “No Spin”.
