1 Safety precautons

Warnng

To prevent death or njury to the user or other people and property

damage, the followng nstructons must be followed. Incorrect

operaton due to gnorng of nstructons may cause death, harm or

damage.

•

Installaton must be performed accordng to the nstallaton

nstructons. Improper nstallaton can cause water leakage,

electrcal shock, or fre.

•

Use only the ncluded accessores and parts, and specfed tools for

the nstallaton. Usng non-standard parts can cause water leakage,

electrcal shock, fre, and njury or property damage.

•

Make sure that the outlet you are usng s grounded and has the

approprate voltage. The power cord s equpped wth a three-prong

groundng plug to protect aganst shock. Voltage nformaton can be

found on the nameplate of the unt.

•

Your unt must be used n a properly grounded wall receptacle. If the

wall receptacle you ntend to use s not adequately grounded or

protected by a tme delay fuse or crcut breaker (the fuse or crcut

breaker needed s determned by the maxmum current of the unt.

The maxmum current s ndcated on the nameplate located on

unt), have a qualfed electrcan nstall the proper receptacle.

•

Install the unt on a flat, sturdy surface. Falure to do so could result

n damage or excessve nose and vbraton.

•

The unt must be kept free from obstructon to ensure proper

functon and to mtgate safety hazards.

•

Do not modfy the length of the power cord or use an extenson

cord to power the unt.

•

Do not share a sngle outlet wth other electrcal applances.

Improper power supply can cause fre or electrcal shock.

•

Do not nstall your ar condtoner n a wet room such as a bathroom

or laundry room. Too much exposure to water can cause electrcal

components to short crcut.

•

Do not nstall the unt n a locaton that may be exposed to

combustble gas, as ths could cause fre.

•

The unt has wheels to facltate movng. Make sure not to use the

wheels on thck carpet or to roll over objects, as these could cause

tppng.

•

Do not operate a unt that t has been dropped or damaged.

•

The applance wth electrc heater shall have at least 1 meter space

to the combustble materals.

•

Do not touch the unt wth wet or damp hands or when barefoot.

•

If the ar condtoner s knocked over durng use, turn off the unt and

unplug t from the man power supply mmedately. Vsually nspect

the unt to ensure there s no damage. If you suspect the unt has been

damaged, contact a techncan or customer servce for assstance.

•

In a thunderstorm, the power must be cut off to avod damage to

the machne due to lghtnng.

•

Your ar condtoner should be used n such a way that t s protected

from mosture. e.g. condensaton, splashed water, etc. Do not place

or store your ar condtoner where t can fall or be pulled nto water

or any other lqud. Unplug mmedately f t occurs.

•

All wrng must be performed strctly n accordance wth the wrng

dagram located nsde of the unt.

•

The unt’s crcut board (PCB) s desgned wth a fuse to provde

overcurrent protecton. The specfcatons of the fuse are prnted

on the crcut board, such as: T 3.15A/250V, etc.

•

Ths applance can be used by chldren aged from 8 years and above

f they have been gven supervson or nstructon concernng use

of the applance n a safe way and understand the hazards nvolved.

Cleanng and user mantenance shall not be made by chldren unless

they are aged from 8 years and above and supervsed. Keep the

applance and ts cord out of reach of chldren aged less than

8 years. (be applcable for the European Countres).

•

Ths applance s not ntended for use by persons (ncludng

chldren) wth reduced physcal, sensory or mental capabltes

or lack of experence and knowledge, unless they have been

gven supervson or nstructon concernng use of the applance

by a person responsble for ther safety. (be applcable for other

countres except the European Countres)

•

Chldren should be supervsed to ensure that they do not play wth

the applance. Chldren must be supervsed around the unt at all

tmes.

•

If the supply cord s damaged, t must be replaced by the

manufacturer, ts servce agent or smlarly qualfed persons

n order to avod a hazard.

•

Pror to cleanng or other mantenance, the applance must be

dsconnected from the supply mans.

•

•

Do not run cord under carpetng. Do not cover cord wth throw rugs,

runners, or smlar coverngs. Do not route cord under furnture or

applances. Arrange cord away from traffc area and where t wll not

be trpped over.

•

Do not operate unt wth a damaged cord, plug, power fuse or crcut

breaker. Dscard unt or return to an authorzed servce faclty for

examnaton and/or repar.

•

To reduce the rsk of fre or electrc shock, do not use ths applance

wth any sold-state speed control devce.

•

The applance shall be nstalled n accordance wth natonal wrng

regulatons.

•

Contact the authorsed servce techncan for repar or mantenance

of ths unt.

•

Contact the authorsed nstaller for nstallaton of ths unt.

•

Do not cover or obstruct the nlet or outlet grlles.

•

Do not use ths product for functons other than those descrbed

n ths nstructon manual.

•

Before cleanng, turn off the power and unplug the unt.

•

Dsconnect the power f strange sounds, smell, or smoke comes

from t.

•

Do not press the buttons on the control panel wth anythng other

than your fngers.

Always transport your ar condtoner n a vertcal poston and stand

on a stable, level surface durng use.

•

Always contact a qualfed person to carry out repars. If the

damaged power supply cord must be replaced wth a new power

supply cord obtaned from the product manufacturer and not

repared.

•

Hold the plug by the head of the power plug when takng t out.

•

Turn off the product when not n use.

•

Warnng Do not use manuals to accelerate the defrostng process

or to clean, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.

The applance shall be stored n a room wthout Contnuously

operaton gnton sources (for example: open flames, an operaton

gas applance or an operatng electrc heater.) Do not perce or burn.

Be aware that refrgerants may not contan an odour.

•

The applance shall state the nsulaton of a resdual current devce

(RCD) havng rated resdual operatng current not exceedng 30mA.

•
