DESTINAZIONE D’USO
- La sabbiatrice da banco è destinata al seguente uso:
• Per la sabbiatura superciale di oggetti in genere e di vari materiali: metallo, vetro, ceramica, legno, ecc.
• Tipo di graniglia da utilizzare: Corindone rosso; Microsfere in vetro, Garnet
• Da collegare obbligatoriamente ad un impianto di aspirazione
- Non sono consentite le seguenti operazioni:
• è vietato l’utilizzo su persone o animali
• è vietato l’uso su materiali che possono generare un ambiente esplosivo all’interno della camera
• è vietato l’uso in ambienti contenenti atmosfere potenzialmente esplosive
• è vietato l’uso in ambienti umidi, bagnati, non esporlo a pioggia o neve
• è vietato l’uso per tutte quelle applicazioni diverse da quelle indicate
SICUREZZA DELLA POSTAZIONE DI LAVORO
Utilizzare la sabbiatrice in una zona asciutta evitando umidità.
E’ obbligatorio pulire e raccogliere eventuali residui di graniglia depositati sul pavimento (Pericolo di scivolamento).
E’ obbligatorio collegare alla sabbiatrice un aspiratore.
Non utilizzare la sabbiatrice in ambienti contenenti atmosfere potenzialmente esplosive perché possono svilupparsi scintille
in grado di incendiare polveri o vapori.
Evitare il contatto con apparecchiature in tensione, in quanto possono causare una scossa elettrica.
Impedire che bambini o visitatori possano avvicinarsi alla postazione di lavoro mentre si sta operando con la sabbiatrice. La
presenza di altre persone provoca distrazione.
Non utilizzare la sabbiatrice in prossimità di materiale inammabile.
INDICAZIONE PER LA SICUREZZA DEL PERSONALE
- Si raccomanda la massima attenzione, avendo cura di concentrarsi sempre sulle proprie azioni. Non utilizzare la sabbiatrice in
caso di stanchezza o sotto l’effetto di droghe, bevande alcoliche o medicinali.
- Non puntare mai il usso d’aria verso se stessi o verso altre persone. L’aria compressa può causare lesioni serie.
- Utilizzare sempre i seguenti dispositivi individuali di protezione:
• occhiali di protezione
• guanti di protezione per agenti sici
• indumenti protettivi di lavoro
• scarpe di sicurezza
- Utilizzare sempre la sabbiatrice con un aspiratore.

RISPETTO DELLE NORME DI SICUREZZA E DELLE ISTRUZIONI

INDICAZIONI DI SICUREZZA PER LA SABBIATRICE
- Periodicamente vericare l’integrità della sabbiatrice e del cavo di alimentazione di rete e di aria compressa.
- Non utilizzare la sabbiatrice se è danneggiata.
- La sabbiatrice non deve essere modicata. Le modiche riducono l’efcacia delle misure di sicurezza ed aumentare i rischi
per l’operatore.
- Collegare il cavo di alimentazione alla presa di rete, assicurandosi che la tensione di rete sia quella indicata sulla targhetta
della sabbiatrice. (Vedere tabella DATI TECNICI).
- Per disperdere le cariche elettrostatiche, collegare la messa a terra con un cavo di almeno 16 mm2.
- Durante le lavorazioni c’è la possibilità dell’accumulo di cariche elettrostatiche. Si consiglia di non indossare scarpe con
suole in gomma para, indumenti sintetici o metalli.
- Si consiglia di non appoggiare la sabbiatrice su pedane isolanti (no pallet o lastre in gomma). E’ consentito l’uso di pedane
antistatiche o bracciali antistatici.
- Staccare l’alimentazione quando la sabbiatrice non è in uso.
- Non utilizzare la sabbiatrice in ambienti umidi, bagnati, non esporla a pioggia. Ambienti umidi e contaminati.

UTILIZZO ACCURATO DELLA SABBIATRICE
- Posizionare la sabbiatrice su una supercie piana e pulita che sia in grado di sostenerne il peso (immagine 1).
- Utilizzare aria compressa asciutta, pulita e priva di umidità.
- Vericare che il materiale da sabbiare sia esente da residuo liquido o oleoso.
Pulire e raccogliere eventuali residui di graniglia depositati sul pavimento, in modo da evitare pericolo di scivolamento.
- Per la pulizia delle parti esterne della sabbiatrice, utilizzare un panno asciutto, scollegando sempre l’alimentazione di rete.

ISTRUZIONI
Collegamento alimentazione dell’aria
Per un utilizzo corretto della sabbiatrice rispettare sempre la pressione di 6 bar, misurata all’ingresso dell’utensile. Alimentare
l’utensile pneumatico con aria pulita e priva di condensa. Una pressione troppo elevata o la presenza di umidità nell’aria di
alimentazione riducono la durata delle parti meccaniche e possono causare danni all’utensile.
UTILIZZO
Avviamento / Arresto
Prima di avviare la sabbiatrice procedere nel seguente modo:
• Collegare il cavo alla rete di alimentazione 220V.
• Collegare il tubo dell’aria compressa alla cabina della sabbiatrice (immagine 3-1)
• Collegare l’aspiratore alla sabbiatrice (si consiglia art. Beta 1871M/AS), (immagine 3-2)
Aprire lo sportello superiore dell’aspiratore, versare l’abrasivo desiderato per l’operazione di sabbiatura.
Caricare circa 10Kg di abrasivo.
Utilizzando gli appositi guanti, impugnare la pistola e premere il grilletto per la fuori uscita della miscela aria /sabbia.
Orientare la pistola sul pezzo in lavorazione.
Al rilascio della pistola la fuori uscita della graniglia si arresta rapidamente.
La sabbiatrice è dotata di una lampada all’interno della cabina per una migliore visibilità.
Sostituzione della graniglia e accessori
Per lo scarico della graniglia svuotare la sabbiatrice nel seguente modo:
• Portare in una posizione leggermente avanzata la sabbiatrice, in modo da poter estrarre il tappo posizionato sotto la
macchina (immagine 4).
• Svuotare il prodotto in un contenitore idoneo in modo da non disperderlo nell’ambiente.
• Scollegare il tubo sabbia e svuotare il residuo rimasto.
• Utilizzare l’aspiratore per completare la pulizia di aspirazione del prodotto.
Periodicamente vericare l’usura dell’ugello della pistola (immgine 5-1). Controllare il diametro interno se inferiore di 6mm
sostituire l’ugello per garantire un buon funzionamento.
Vericare l’usura dell’iniettore a forma conica se consumato sostituire (immagine 5-2).
Sostituzione dello sportello in Policarbonato
Per la sostituzione è sufciente slare dalle apposite graffe di sostegno il foglio in policarbonato e sostituirlo con uno nuovo
(immagine 6).
Per la pulizia utilizzare aria compressa e un panno morbido e asciutto. Non utilizzare detergenti e stracci per evitare graf o
danneggiamenti.
Per la sostituzione dei guanti procedere nel seguente modo:
• Allentare le fascette, slare i guanti usurati.
• Montare il guanto nuovo, facendo ruotare il guanto no alla posizione ottimale, in modo da avere l’inserimento della
mano naturale. Indicativamente il pollice della mano deve guardare verso l’alto.
• Serrare le fascette (immagine 7).
Interrompere sempre l’alimentazione elettrica e dell’aria prima di effettuare operazioni di manutenzione o inserimento
della graniglia. Questa misura preventiva impedisce l’avvio accidentale della sabbiatrice.

MANUTENZIONE
Gli interventi di manutenzione e di riparazione devono essere eseguiti solo ed esclusivamente da personale specializzato. Per tali
interventi potete rivolgervi al centro riparazioni di Beta Utensili S.P.A. attraverso il vostro rivenditore Beta di ducia.
SMALTIMENTO
La sabbiatrice, gli accessori e gli imballaggi devono essere inviati ad un centro di raccolta smaltimento riuti, secondo le leggi
vigenti nel Paese in cui vi trovate.
GARANZIA
Questa attrezzatura è fabbricata e collaudata secondo le norme attualmente vigenti nella Comunità Europea. E’
coperta da garanzia per un periodo di 12 mesi per uso professionale o 24 mesi per uso non professionale.
Vengono riparati guasti dovuti a difetti di materiale o di produzione, mediante ripristino o sostituzione dei pezzi
difettosi a nostra discrezione.
L’effettuazione di uno o più interventi nel periodo di garanzia non modica la data di scadenza della stessa.
Non sono soggetti a garanzia difetti dovuti all’usura, all’uso errato od improprio e a rotture causate da colpi e/o
cadute.
La garanzia decade quando vengono apportate modiche, quando l’utensile pneumatico viene manomesso o
quando viene inviato all’assistenza smontato.
Sono espressamente esclusi danni causati a persone e/o cose di qualsiasi genere e/o natura, diretti e/o indiretti.

PURPOSE OF USE
- The bench sander can be used for the following purposes:
• Sanding surfaces of objects made from several materials: metal, glass, ceramic, wood etc.
• Type of grit to use: red corundum, glass microspheres, garnet
• Must be connected to a vacuum cleaning system
- The bench sander must not be used for the following operations:
• Use on people or animals
• Use on materials which can generate an explosive environment in the cabin
• Use in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres
• Use in damp or wet environments; exposure to rain or snow
• Use for any applications other than stated ones
WORK AREA SAFETY
Use the sander in a dry area, avoiding humidity.
Clean and collect any grit residues from the oor (slipping hazard).
Connect a vacuum cleaner to the sander.
Do not operate the sander in environments containing potentially explosive atmospheres, because sparks may be
generated which can ignite the dust or fumes.
Avoid contact with live equipment, as electric shocks may be caused.
Keep children and bystanders away from your workplace while operating the sander. Other people may distract you.
Do not use the sander near ammable material.
PERSONNEL SAFETY
- Stay alert; watch what you are doing. Do not use the sander while tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication.
- Do not point the air ow to yourself or other people. Compressed air can cause serious injury.
- Always use the following personal protective equipment:
• eye protection
• protective gloves against physical agents
• protective workwear
• safety shoes
- Always use the sander with a vacuum cleaner.

SANDER SAFETY
- Periodically check that the sander and the power and compressed air supply cable are free from defects.
- Do not use the sander if damaged.
- Do not modify the sander. This can reduce the effectiveness of safety measures and increase operator risk.
- Connect the power supply cable to the mains socket, checking that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the plate
of the sander. (See TECHNICAL DATA table).
- To dissipate electrostatic charges, connect the earth to a cable with a section of at least 16 mm2.
- Electrostatic charges may accumulate while operating the sander. Avoid wearing shoes with Para rubber soles, synthetic
clothing or metal objects.
- Do not place the sander on insulating footboards (no pallets or rubber sheets). Antistatic footboards and antistatic bracelets
may be used.
- Unplug the sander when not in use.
- Do not use the sander in humid or wet environments; do not expose it to rain. Wet and contaminated environments increase
the risk of electric shocks.

SANDER USE AND CARE
- Place the sander on a at, clean surface that can support its weight (image 1).
- Use dry, clean, nonhumid compressed air.
- Check that the material to sand is free from liquid or oily residue.
Clean and collect any grit residue from the oor, to avoid slipping.
- To clean the exterior of the sander, use a dry cloth. Always disconnect the sander from the power supply mains before cleaning
it.

INSTRUCTIONS
Air supply connection
For correct use of the sander, always keep to a pressure of 6 bars, as measured at the tool inlet.
Feed the pneumatic tool with clean, condensate-free air. Excessively high pressure or humidity in supply air results in shorter life
for the mechanical parts and may damage the tool.
USE
Start / Stop
Before starting the sander, proceed as follows:
• Connect the cable to the power supply mains (220V).
• Connect the compressed air hose to the sander cabin (image 3-1)
• Connect the vacuum cleaner to the sander (we recommend Beta item 1871M/AS), (image 3-2)
Open the upper door of the vacuum cleaner and pour in the abrasive required for sanding. Load approximately 10 kg of abrasive.
Hold the gun, while wearing the gloves, and press the trigger to let the air/sand mixture out.
Point the gun towards the workpiece.
When the gun is released, the grit will soon stop coming out.
The sander is equipped with a lamp in the cabin, for improved visibility.
Replacing grit and accessories
To discharge the grit, empty the sander as follows:
• Move the sander slightly forward, in order to remove the cap under the machine (image 4).
• Pour the product into a suitable container, so that it is not disposed of into the environment.
• Disconnect the sand hose and remove the residue.
• Use the vacuum cleaner to complete vacuum cleaning of the product.
Periodically check the nozzle (image 5-1) of the gun for wear. Check the outside diameter; if it smaller than 6 mm, replace the
nozzle to ensure good operation.
Check the cone-shaped injector (image 5-2) for wear; replace if worn.
Replacing polycarbonate door
To replace the door, just slip the polycarbonate sheet off the braces and replace it with a new one (image 6).
For cleaning, use compressed air and a dry, soft cloth. Do not use any detergents or rags, to avoid scratches or damage.
Replace the gloves as follows:
• Loosen the bands; slip off the worn gloves.
• Install the new glove, making it rotate until it reaches an optimal position, to allow the tting in of the hand. As an indication,
the thumb of the hand should be turned upwards.
• Tighten the bands (image 7).
Always disconnect the power and air supply before carrying out any maintenance jobs or putting in grit. This precaution
will prevent the sander from being accidentally started.

MAINTENANCE
Maintenance and repair jobs must be carried out by trained personnel only. For such jobs, you can contact Beta Utensili S.P.A.’s
repair centre through your Beta dealer.
DISPOSAL
The sander, accessories and packaging should be sent to a waste disposal centre, in accordance with the laws in force in your
country.
WARRANTY
This equipment is manufactured and tested in accordance with current EU regulations. It is covered by a 12-month
warranty for professional use or a 24-month warranty for non professional use.
We will repair any breakdowns caused by material or manufacturing defects, by xing the defective pieces or
replacing them at out discretion.
Should assistance be required once or several times during the warranty period, the expiry date of this warranty
will remain unchanged.
This warranty will not cover defects due to wear, misuse or breakdowns caused by blows and/or falls.
In addition, this warranty will no longer be valid if any changes are made, or if the pneumatic tool is forced or sent
to the customer service in pieces.
This warranty explicitly excludes any damage to people and/or things, whether direct or consequential.

We hereby declare, assuming full responsibility, that the described product complies with all the relevant
provisions of the following Directives:
• Machine Directive 2006/42/EC;
• Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC) 2014/30/EU;
