1Getting started
1.1 Installing the SIM Cards and the Battery
An SIM card carries useful information, including your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal
Identification Number), PUK (PIN Unlocking Key), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity),
network information, contacts data, and short messages data.
1.2 Charging the Battery
The lithium battery delivered with the mobile phone can be put into use immediately after being
unpacked. Your mobile phone can monitor and display the battery state.
Normally the remaining energy of the battery is indicated by the battery level icon at the upper right
corner of the display screen.
When the battery energy is insufficient, the mobile phone prompts "Battery low". If you have set an
alert tone, an alert tone will be given off when the battery level is too low.
A charging animation appears when the battery is being charged. When the charging is complete, the
animation disappears.
It is normal of the battery to become hot during the charging period.
The battery icon does no longer flicker when the charging process ends.
Use only the battery provided by the vendor. Otherwise, damages or even injuries could be caused

during the charging.
Power off the mobile phone before removing the battery.
The charging process lasts a longer time for a new battery or a battery not in use for long. If the battery
voltage is too low to enable the mobile phone to be powered on, charge the battery for a longer time.
During the charging, ensure the battery is placed in a room temperature environment or in an
environment close to room temperature.
Immediately stop using the battery if the battery produces odor, overheats, cracks, distorts or has other
damage, or if the electrolyte leaks.
The battery wears out with use. A longer charging time is required as the battery is put into use for a
long time.
You can charging and data link with PC use USB cable, which should be shielded and with four cores.

1.3 Linking to the Network
After the SIM card and the mobile phone are successfully unlocked, the mobile phone automatically searches
for an available network.
2Input method
This mobile phone provides multiple input methods, including English input in both upper and lower
case, Es, ES and numeric input method.

2.1 To Shift Entry Methods
Press # key to switch between input methods.
2.2 Numeric and English Input
You can input numbers with the numeric input method. Press a number key to input the corresponding
number. Switch to English input, press letter keys to input the English word.

2.3 Inserting a Symbol
Press the *key to enter the Select symbol interface and select a symbol you want.
3Using the Menus
3.1 Contacts
The mobile phone can store up to 500 telephone numbers.
3.2 Multimedia
Mobile TV
Your mobile phone is provided you for television. You can watch TV by searching the channels. While
watching TV, you can dial or receive a call normally. During call conversation, the TV will turn mute

automatically. When you have searched channels, you can enjoy them. Or you can update the list and
research TV show, and your mobile phone will be scanning again. The searched TV show is charged free.
File manager
The phone provides a certain space for users to manage files and supports the T-Flash card. You can use the
file manager to conveniently manage various directories and files on the phone and the T-Flash card.
Camera
Use this function to capture pictures.
Audio Player
Use this function to play audio files. In audio player interface, you can press * or # key to tune volume.
Image browser
You can view the pictures or images through this function.
Video recorder
This function enables you to record dynamic pictures.
Video player
Use this function to play video files.

FM Radio
You can use the application as a traditional FM radio with automatic tuning and saved channels. * or # key to
tune volume.
Sound recorder
Use this function to record audio files. The phone supports WAV and AMR format.
3.3 Web
This function enables you to view the internet. Your phone will ask you with existed way. You can start to
view only by starting corresponding way.
3.4 Fun & Games
Access this menu, you can have 4 chatting tools, that is, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, Facebook and Twitter.
Moreover, it still provides with Java application and an embedded game (Puzzle), before entering Java, you
can go to Java settings/Java network to set the corresponding parameter. For specific operation about game,
please refer to ‘help’option of the game.
3.5 Messaging
You can send and receive test message and multimedia messages. If the short message memory is full, a
blinking message icon appears on the top of the screen. While entering the Messaging interface, you will see
the following menu options: Write message, Inbox, Draft, Outbox, Sent messages, Delete messages,

Broadcast message, Templates and Message settings.
3.6 Call center
Call history
Missed Calls / Dialed Calls/ Received Calls/Delete call logs
You can view a list of the above.
Call Timers
Choose call timers to view the last call time, the total time of all dialed calls and the total time of all received
calls, and/or to reset all the time.
Call cost
View the last call cost and total cost; Reset cost ---clear the fee records; View Maxmum cost--- Limit call fees
in the specified pricing unit or currency unit. PIN2 code must be input to set call cost.
Text msg. counter
View and preset the numbers of sent messages and received messages.
GPRS counter
Access this menu to view the sent/received GPRS rate or to reset counter.
Call Settings
Caller ID: Including set by Network, hides ID and send ID.
Set by Network: While having a call conversation, you can send my caller ID in the form preset by the

system.
Hide ID: While having a call conversation, you will not send my caller ID. If the system does not support
such function, call may fail.
Send ID: While having a call conversation, you can send my caller ID to the system.
Note: This function needs network support.
Call Waiting: You can set this function On or Off. The call hold and multi-party call cannot be active unless this
function is activated.
Call divert: this network function enables you to forward incoming calls to another number you have
previously specified.
Name Description
Divert All Voice
Calls The network will divert all voice calls without conditions.
Divert if
Unreachable When the network cannot find your mobile phone (switched-off or out of the service
area), it will divert the calls.
Divert if no Answer When the mobile phone does not answer the call, the network will automatically
divert it.
Divert if Busy When you are on line, the network will divert the call.
Divert All Data
Calls Network support needed.
