First, remove the eggshell carton from
the top of the machine.

Leaving the machine in the bag, lift it out
of the package.

Open the bag and slide it down around
the sides of the machine.

Take a moment to remove all foil and
stickers from your machine.

Remove the plastic security ring from
your coee carafe.

FROM HERE TO COFFEE

Here’s a secret: There’s a wheel tucked away behind
your water tank. Use it to adjust the coarseness of the
grind to your tastes.

Now that you have a machine, it’s time to make coee!
1 First: Plug it in! The power cable will already be
inserted into the bottom of your machine.
2 Double check to make sure the cable is firmly
inserted in the machine before plugging it into
the socket.
3 Once you’ve plugged in your machine, a white
light will indicate that your machine is ready to
rock and roll.
4 Tap the round sensor on the front of your ma-
chine to get started. A yellow light will flash, indi-
cating the machine is ready for its first air filter.
5 Scan the air filter on the front of the machine,
then remove it from the plastic foil and place it in
the air filter container.
MAKING COFFEE
6 Tap the panel on the right side of the machine
and take out the big black air filter box. You may
have to be a little firm with it if it’s stubborn.
Open the top of the air filter box and push the
flaps asked to insert the air filter. With the air
filter safely nestled inside, move the flaps back,
close the black air filter container, and insert it
the box into the machine. Close the door to the
air filter container.
7 Your machine has traveled a long way and could
use a little refresher before you start. Before
starting your first brew, fill your water tank com-
pletely and run one cycle without beans, clean-
ing the water tubes, heater element and nozzle.

9 Open the roasting chamber using the simple
push-push mechanism. Tear the top of the coee
pouch open, pour your beans into the roasting
chamber, and push to close.
12 With all players in place, push the round sensor
on the front of the machine to begin the roast-
grind-brew experience.
10 Your empty pouch has transformed into a coee
filter. Magical! Insert the filter into the filter
drawer.
11 Fill the water tank on the left side of the machine
(with water only please!)
13 Enjoy the sumptuous aromas drifting out of
your machine as it roasts, grinds, and brews you
coee.
14 When the bottom of the machine illuminates in
green, your coee is ready! Savor black or with
your favorite additions.
8 You’re ready to brew up something wonderful!

coee pouch on the front of the machine.
