VALVE RE-SET PROCEDURE
Step #1:
Please remove the Brew Express brewer unit from the wall by removing the outside mounting
screws. After removal of outside screws, grab the sides of the brewer and pull away from the wall.
Upon removal, press the grey button on the white colored water line connection to disconnect the
water line.
Step #2:
•Place Brew Express upright on a flat surface (as shown in picture below).
(You may need to place a book under the brewer to make it level)
•Connect an exterior extension cord to the rear of the unit as shown.
Step #3
•Locate IRD-Reset label on side of the brewer.
•Remove label called “IRD RESET”.
Please note:
If your unit does not have this label or access hole to re-set your IR,
please consider sourcing a repair service or replacement.
Step 4
•Place mug or even shaped cup into center of brewing area.
•Do not use a clear or flat black surface.
•Turn power switch to “Off” Position.
Step 5
•After removing the label, use a rigid straw or cu-tip to push the re-set button.
•Push in the button and release. After 5-8 seconds, push again to set memory.
•Test unit by trying to turn it on.
•If brew light is solid, re-set procedure is complete.
•If still blinking, try again.
Step 6
•After re-setting the IR Sensor, check to ensure the brew light is not blinking.
•The brewer should want to start up like normal operation.
•If blinking occurs, try to re-set procedure again.
Step #7
•Re-install Brew Express into the wall. Be sure to “Snap” water connection together for a
firm connection.
•Re-install outside mounting screws.
•Remove and clean spray-head
•Run 2 pots of water without spray-head to purge any debris in the system.
•Re-install spray-head
•Re-set clock and adjust/program volume as needed.
Complete!!!!
This procedure should only take about 15 minutes to perform.
