WARNING!:
Read this guide before use. Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could
result in serious injury or death.
• SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Do not allow product to cover child’s mouth or nose.
Only for use on stroller.
• Do not attach to crib or playpen.
• Never leave child unattended. Never leave child in stroller in direct sunlight for any
extended period of time. Under certain conditions temperature inside cover may be
greater than temperature outside cover.
• Do not let child overheat.
• Does not protect against scattered or reflected UV radiation. Examine cover for wear.
Wear may reduce UPF rating.
• Keep away from all flame and heat sources.
• Never place objects on top of cover.
• Allow ample clearance when unfolding cover.
• Cover may spring open. Hold cover away from body when unfolding.
• Discard and replace if damaged.
NOTE:
The instructions in this guide are general guidelines. You may need to adapt
particular instructions for your type of stroller. Fits on most strollers.

CANOPY SETUP
WARNING!:
Please install the canopy before placing your child in the stroller.
Allow ample clearance when unfolding cover.
1. Remove the canopy from the storage bag and open fully.
2. Locate the end of the canopy that has the enclosure
flaps, and then place this end between the stroller
handles. The canopy should rest on top of the stroller
seat and not on the handles.
3. Seal the enclosure flaps (g) behind the frame.
The canopy should hug the back of the stroller
seat snugly.

4. Depending on the stroller type, connect the upper
side straps (b) to each other or wrap them around the
legs of the stroller frame.
WARNING!:
Please install the canopy before placing your child in the stroller.
5. Carefully tip the stroller back so that the handlebars rest on the ground, and then slide
the bottom end of the canopy over the stroller's foot area.

the side straps and secure.

6. Make sure that the sides of the canopy overlap the stroller's sides so that no gaps
are present that could allow insects to enter.
If any of the straps are too long, cut them to desired length.

STORING THE CANOPY
WARNING!:
Take child out of stroller before removing canopy for storage.
Allow ample clearance when folding cover.
1. Undo all fasteners and remove the canopy from
the stroller.
2. Fold the canopy into thirds toward the center, but do
not force the frame to bend at a sharp angle. Let the
canopy fold naturally. Please resist the urge to twist.

STROLLER ACCESS
• Unzip the mesh panel of the canopy for easy access to the stroller seat.
• Secure your child using the stroller's seat restraints according to the stroller
manufacturer’s instructions. Then, close the mesh panel's zipper fully.
• For extended access, the mesh panel can be held open by securing the snap near
the bottom of the panel to the matching snap button at the top of the canopy.
SUN & RAIN COVER
• To protect against sun or rain, deploy the
supplemental cover by unzipping the pocket
located just above the mesh panel. Pull the cover
down and secure the side and bottom snaps.
• For partial protection, fold the cover back toward
the top and secure with the top snap.

3. Flip to the other side. Fold the edges inward, one side at a time, until the canopy
is in the shape of a flat circle.
4. Place the folded canopy back into the bag.
TIP: The frame of your Comfort Canopy is made from spring steel and may twist if folded
incorrectly. It can be corrected by simply hand tracing the frame to the spot where the
twist occurs, and then rolling the twisted area back into the same angle
as the rest of the frame.

OUTDOOR SAFETY INFORMATION
SUN SAFETY
• Too much exposure to ultraviolet (UV) solar radiation can lead to skin cancer or other
UV-related medical conditions. The use of a shade device is one of many measures
that can be taken to avoid the harmful effects of solar UV radiation.
• The supplementary sun cover of your Comfort Canopy has a UPF 50+ rating and
blocks more than 98% of harmful UV radiation. It provides shade and protection from
direct overhead sunlight. Even on a cloudy day, up to 80% of the sun’s rays can pass
through the clouds.
• Since UV radiation may be transmitted through the mesh side walls of your Comfort
Canopy, whose UPF rating is not UPF 50+, you should always combine the use of
the supplementary sun cover with other UV radiation protective measures to achieve
maximum sun protection for your child.
• UPF rated fabric should not be used longer than 12 months as wear and tear of the
fabric can affect its UPF rating over time. Be sure to check your Comfort Canopy
regularly for wear and tear that may affect its UPF rating.
UNDERSTANDING UPF
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) measures the ability of a fabric to block harmful
ultraviolet (UVA and UVB) rays. For example, a fabric rated UPF 50 allows only 1/50th,
or 2% of the UV radiation, to pass through the fabric. UPF ratings are derived from
accepted test standard AATCC 183-2004. The following table summarizes labeling
guidelines used internationally.

PROTECTING AGAINST INSECTS
• Mosquitoes have been known to transmit the West Nile and Zika viruses and other
blood born diseases such as malaria. Other insects such as black flies can be an irritant
and cause painful bites.
• The body of the Stroller Comfort Canopy is comprised of fine insect netting to help
protect against insects. In order to achieve protection against insects, the elastic
perimeter of the Stroller Comfort Canopy must be snug against the stroller and the
zipper ceiling must be closed. Any spaces in between the elastic perimeter and the
stroller may permit insects to enter the canopy. To optimize protection against insects,
use your Stroller Comfort Canopy in combination with other insect repelling measures.
OVERHEATING PREVENTION
• Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause a child to overheat and lead
to serious injury or death of the child. NEVER leave your baby in direct sunlight
or unattended. To ensure the safety and comfort of your child, check your
child frequently.

de l'enfant. N’utiliser que sur une poussette.
• Ne pas fixer ce produit sur un lit de bébé ou un parc à jouer.
• Ne jamais laisser l’enfant sans surveillance. Ne jamais laisser l’enfant en plein soleil dans
la poussette pendant un long moment. Dans certains cas, il se peut que la température
soit plus élevée à l'intérieur de la couverture qu’à l’extérieur.
• Vérifier que l’enfant n’a pas trop chaud.
• Ne protège pas contre les rayons UV réfléchis ou diffus. Vérifier que l’article ne présente
pas de signes d’usure. L’usure peut réduire le facteur de protection ultra-violet.
• Tenir à l’écart de flammes ou de source de chaleur.
• Ne jamais poser d’objets sur la capote.
• Pour ouvrir la capote, prévoir suffisamment de place.
• La capote peut se déployer brusquement. Tenir le produit loin de soi pour l’ouvrir.
• Jeter et remplacer le produit s’il est endommagé.
REMARQUE :
Les consignes contenues dans cette notice d'utilisation sont d'ordre
général. Il se peut qu’il vous fasse adapter certaines instructions en fonction du type
de votre poussette. Convient à la plupart des poussettes.

INSTALLATION DE LA CAPOTE
ATTENTION:
Veuillez installer la capote avant de placer votre enfant dans
la poussette. Pour ouvrir la capote, prévoir susamment de place.
1. Sortez la capote du sac de rangement et ouvrez-la complètement.
2. Repérez le bout de la capote comprenant les rabats
enveloppants et placez-le entre les poignées de
la poussette. La capote doit reposer au-dessus
du siège de la poussette et non sur les poignées.
3. Refermez complètement les rabats enveloppants
(g) derrière le châssis de la poussette. La capote
doit être bien ajustée sur le dossier du siège de
la poussette.

4. Selon le type de poussette, attachez les courroies
latérales supérieures l’une à autre ou enroulez-les
autour du châssis de la poussette.
ATTENTION:
Veuillez installer la capote avant de placer votre enfant dans
la poussette.
5. Renversez doucement la poussette en arrière de manière à ce que les poignées
reposent sur le sol, puis amenez le bout inférieur de la capote sur le repose-pieds.

inférieures (c) sous le siège de
la poussette.

Faites passer la courroie
avant derrière (d) la roue avant
et attachez-la.
6. Vérifiez que les côtés de la capote ne dépassent pas sur les côtés de la poussette,
et qu'il n'y a pas d'espace par lequel les insectes pourraient entrer.
Si les courroies d’attache sont trop longues, coupez-les à la longueur désirée.
POUR ACCÉDER À LA POUSSETTE
• Ouvrez la fermeture à glissière du revêtement en maille de la capote pour accéder
facilement au siège de la poussette.
• Attachez votre enfant dans le harnais de la poussette selon les consignes du fabricant
de la poussette. Puis refermez complétement la fermeture à glissière du revêtement
en maille.
• Pour garder l'accès au siège ouvert, maintenez le revêtement en maille ouvert
en attachant le bouton-pression mâle se trouvant vers bas du revêtement en maille
au bouton pression femelle en haut de la capote.
PROTECTION SOLEIL ET PLUIE
• Pour protéger du soleil ou de la pluie, dépliez la
couverture supplémentaire en ouvrant la fermeture
à glissière se trouvant juste au-dessus du revêtement
en maille. Tirez la couverture vers le bas et attachez-la
avec les boutons-pression sur le côté et au fond.
• Pour une protection partielle, rabattez la
couverture vers le haut et attachez-la avec
le bouton-pression supérieur.
