Safety Instructions

installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any
components on this product.

• Caution! Hot surface! The temperature of accessible
surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.
• Do not clean with jet/pressure washers.
• Do not move or carry the appliance when it is switched on.
• DO NOT leave the appliance unattended during operation.
• DO NOT obstruct or cover the appliance in any way when in
use.
• The appliance should not come into contact or be covered with
easily flammable materials, like curtains, textiles, walls and
the like. Always ensure sufficient safety distance to flammable
materials.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the
appliance when not in use.
• Not suitable for outdoor use.
• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the
packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.
• DO NOT use if damaged.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a Buffalo

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
• Buffalo recommend that this appliance should be periodically
tested (at least annually) by a Competent Person. Testing
should include, but not be limited to: Visual Inspection,
Polarity Test, Earth Continuity, Insulation Continuity and
Functional Testing.
• Never use accessories which are not recommended by the
manufacturer. They could pose a safety risk to the user and
might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and
accessories.
• Buffalo recommend that this product is connected to a circuit
protected by an appropriate RCD (Residual Current Device).

Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your Buffalo dealer immediately.
Installation
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging. Make sure that all protective plastic film and coatings are
thoroughly removed from all surfaces.
2. Maintain a distance of 20cm (7 inches) between the unit and walls or other objects for ventilation.

Mounting the air pipe and brushes
Air pipe:
1. Mount the air pipe onto the base. Rotate until its hole is aligned with the hole on the base.
2. Tighten the air pipe with the screw provided.
Brushes:
1. Mount the brush onto the shaft.
2. Rotate the brush anti-clockwise to let the pin on the shaft get locked into the brush’s notch.
Note:
• Among the 5 brushes, ensure to mount the short one onto the centre shaft.
• During operation, hot air will come out from the air pipe slot to keep brushes dry so
as to maintain a good polishing effect. It is essential to always keep the brushes dry;
wet brushes do not dry or polish the glass. During intensive use, if the brushes become
damp, run the appliance without glass for 20 minutes to allow the hot air to dry the
brushes.

1. Connect the appliance to the
mains power supply.
2. Switch the appliance on
(Iposition).
3. Hold the glass by the base
and place over the centre
brush to start drying and
polishing.
4. For better polishing effect,
you can slightly spin the glass
left or right while holding it.
5. After use, ensure that the
appliance is switched off
(Oposition).
Automatic overheating protection
This appliance features automatic overheating protection. Should the appliance overheat, the appliance
will shut off automatically. Please allow 20 minutes for the appliance to cool down before resuming
operation.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Allow to cool down
before cleaning.
• Clean the external surface daily using a damp cloth. Always wipe dry after cleaning.
• When closing for the day, operate the appliance for 20 minutes to dry the brushes. This will also
ensure efficiency for next working cycle.
• If maintained, the brushes will provide consistent results. Please periodically check the brushes for
wear and aging, and replace as necessary. Worn brushes will provide variable results.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.

Veiligheidsinstructies

• Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van 8

Inleiding

Installatie
1. Haal het apparaat uit de verpakking. Zorg ervoor dat alle plastic beschermlaagjes en coatings goed
verwijderd zijn van alle oppervlakken.
2. Behoud een afstand van 20 cm tussen het apparaat en wanden of andere voorwerpen voor voldoende
ventilatie.

De luchtpijp en borstels monteren
Luchtpijp:
1. Installeer de luchtpijp op de basis. Draai totdat het gat ervan op het gat in de basis past.
2. Zet de luchtpijp vast met de meegeleverde schroef.
Borstels:
1. Monteer de borstel op de schacht.
2. Draai de borstel tegen de klok in zodat de pint op de schacht zichzelf vergrendeld in de inkeping van
de borstel.
Opmerking:
• Zorg ervoor dat u van de 5 borstels de korte borstel op de middelste schacht monteert.
• Er komt tijdens gebruik hete lucht uit de sleuf van de luchtpijp om de borstels droog
te houden en zo goede polijstprestaties te behouden. Het is essentieel om de borstels
altijd droog te houden; natte borstels drogen of polijsten het glas niet. Als de borstels
tijdens intensief gebruik vochtig worden, laat u het apparaat 20 minuten zonder glas
werken zodat de hete lucht de borstels kan drogen.

1. Sluit het apparaat aan op het
stroomnet.
2. Schakel het apparaat in
(stand I).
3. Houd het glas vast aan de
basis en plaats het over de
middenborstel om te drogen
en polijsten.
4. U kunt het glas voor betere
polijstprestaties iets linksom
of rechtsom draaien terwijl u
het glas vasthoudt.
5. Zorg ervoor dat u het
apparaat na gebruik
uitschakelt (stand O).
Automatische oververhittingsbeveiliging
Dit apparaat is voorzien van een automatische oververhittingsbeveiliging. Mocht het apparaat oververhit
raken, dan schakelt deze automatisch uit. Laat het apparaat gedurende 20 minuten afkoelen voordat u
deze weer gebruikt.
Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
• Schakel het apparaat uit en koppel deze los van de stroomvoorziening. Laten afkoelen
vóór het reinigen.
• Maak de buitenoppervlaktes dagelijks schoon met een vochtige doek. Veeg altijd droog na het
schoonmaken.
• Wanneer het tijd is om te sluiten, laar u het apparaat gedurende 20 minuten werken om de borstels
te drogen. Dit verbetert ook de prestaties voor de volgende werkcyclus.
• Vooropgesteld dat de borstels goed worden onderhouden, leveren deze consistente resultaten.
Controleer de borstels af en toe op slijtage en veroudering, en vervang indien nodig. Versleten
borstels leveren variabele resultaten.
