Battery charging condition
The power supply
Use a power adapter or USB port on a PC to recharge the battery. Regarding the
adapter, he must meet these conditions* :
1. Input (to the mains outlet)
•100 - 240 V
•50/60 Hz
•0.32A (320 mA) - 0,50A (500mA)
2. Output (to the charging cable)
•5 V Max
•1 A (1000 mA) Max
•5 W Max
*This data is visible on all adapters, regardless of brand (see photo above )
Ideal condition for use
The ambient temperature as well as the camera temperature
must be above -10°C.
IMPORTANT !
If these conditions are not met, the battery could lose autonomy. The battery
capacity is 1100 mAh.
In order to keep the camera in working order, fully charge the battery every 3
months or so that it remains in optimal conditions of use.

Ideal conditions for charging
The ambient temperature as well as the camera temperature must be between
10°C and 45°C. !
To ensure proper charging of the internal battery, make sure that the Cambox is
turned offduring the charging cycle.

To start
Battery charging
When delivered, the battery of your Cambox is partially charged.
1. Remove the cap at the end of the camera
2. Charge the battery using the supplied USB-C cable.
Once connected the LED status battery turns red during all the charing
process and then turns green once battery is fully charged.
Approximately 2 hours are required to fully recharge the battery using a 230 V
USB wall outlet.
The charge can also be done using an external power bank, a laptop USB port, or
a car cigarette lighter, however with these methods charging will be much longer.
Battery status
When the camera battery level is too low, the battery status
LED changes :
-LOW : the LED blinks red
-CRITICAL : the LED turns solid red
When the Cambox reaches critical battery level, the video
recording and the Wificonnection are automatically turned off.
CAUTION !
If your Cambox turns off automatically a few seconds after turning it on, this is due to
either a low battery, a full or missing micro SD card (not enough free space available to
record photos / videos on the card).
The battery can not be removed from the camera. When charging the camera using a
computer, make sure the computer is also powered. If the camera light indicators do not
turn on, please use another USB port.

You can check the battery level by launching the Cambox
smartphone app.

To start
Power on / Start the camera
Push the ON/OFF button for 1 second, the camera status LED
will turn solid white.
By default, «!auto record mode!» is activated, the camera
automatically starts recording when you turn it on.
When the Cambox is recording the camera status LED is
blinking green and you hear 2 vibrations.

Before using your Cambox, be sure to check the following points :
1) Is the battery fully charged ?
2) Is there enough free space on your micro SD card ?

To start
Pause
To stop recording, perform a quick press on the ON/OFF power button
of your camera to switch to pause mode.
The camera emits a short vibration and the LED changes from
blinking green to solid red, confirming the camera has stopped recording.
The camera is now on pause.
Perform a quick press
When on pause mode, perform a quick press on the ON/OFF button
to start a new video.
Recording
Perform a quick press
The camera vibrates twice and the LED changes from solid red to
blinking green, confirming that recording has resumed.

You can via the Cambox App change the camera LED brightness in the settings > Ergonomics

Fasten your Cambox
The Velcro fastener positioning needs to be done in a temperate and non moist
atmosphere (approximately 15°C) to ensure maximum grip of the glue. It is also
recommended to wait at least 4 hours before placing the Cambox on its clean and
dry support !
Prior to stick, it is recommended to
place the fastener under your visor
in order to memorize its future
position.
Remove meticulously the paper
protection of the velcro in such a way
that your fingers do not touch the
adhesive part.
Place the velcro fastener under the
visor and press strongly on all the
surface to ensure a good adhesion.
Present the Cambox horizontally in front
of its velcro support.
Apply a pressure on the 3 Cambox
points as on the image opposite to
ensure a good fastening.
