Camera Preparation

Get Loaded: 2 things a digital camera needs to function, a battery and a memory

card.

Battery - Digital cameras use a lot of battery power. Be sure to have an e tra

set handy.

Memory card - device to record or “hold” your pictures until they are moved to a

computer or printed. The number of pictures your camera will take is determined

by the size of memory card.

Most digital cameras will have an LCD screen. LCD stands for Liquid Crystal

Display. Try to avoid touching the screen as it will leave

fingerprints.

How to take a picture

(Camera has charged batteries and memory card inserted.)

5 Steps:

1- Shooting mode dial should be set to AUT

2- Turn the power N - Press the On/Off button.

3- Look at the LCD screen on the back of the camera.

4- Press the Shutter button on the top front part of the camera. (Press half way to

focus, and all the way to shoot.)

5-View the picture you just took.

On the upper right side of the camera there is a mode switch that slides. When

you are taking pictures this switch should be slid up toward the red camera.

When you want to view pictures slide this button toward the blue arrow. Notice

the screen now shows the last picture you took. You can then scroll through

pictures by using the arrows on the back. Be sure to flip the sliding switch

back to the red camera when finished viewing. It will be ready to go for your

ne t picture.

Downloading Pictures

Option 1 - Remove memory card by gently sliding the cover on the side of the

camera open. Then gently depress card and it will pop out. You can either take

the card to a store and print the pictures, or download them to a computer.

Option 2 - Connect the camera reader to the computer by plugging the USB cord

into the camera and your computer’s USB port.

Erase a Single Picture

1-Slide switch mode button on the back upper right side to playback or view

mode (Square with arrow). Tab through pictures using the arrow circle, left side

to go back, right side to go forward.

2- View the picture you want to erase

3- Press button with garbage can icon

4- Erase will be highlighted on the screen

5- Press FUNC/SET

Erase All Pictures on Card

1- Slide button to playback mode (Square with arrow)

2- Hit MENU

3- Tab down to Erase All

4- Press FUNC/SET
