IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical products, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, including but not limited to the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
DANGER – To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Do not place or store the pLink®charger or adapter where it can fall or be pulled
into a tub or sink.
2. Do not place the pLink charger in or drop the charger or plug into water or other
liquid. Charger unit is not for immersion or for use in the shower.
3. Do not reach for a pLink charger that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.

WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, re, or injury to persons:
1. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children
or physically challenged persons.
2. This product is for use in home, spas, salons and similar locations. Use this product
only for its intended use as described in this manual.
3. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
4. Do not use the charger outdoors.
5. Use only the adapter and accessories supplied by the manufacturer.
Never operate the Clarisonic device handle if it is damaged. Do not operate the
charger if it has a damaged cord or adapter, if it is not working properly, if it has
been damaged, or dropped into water. Call Clarisonic at 888-525-2747.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
The handle, charger and power adapter have no serviceable parts. If the cord
is damaged, the charger must be unplugged and replaced. Call Clarisonic at

IMPORTANT CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
If you are under a doctor’s care for any skin condition or if you think you may
have a skin condition, please consult your physician before using the Clarisonic
Smart Prole™ system.
We recommend that you do not share brush heads.
We recommend that you start with one of the Clarisonic cleansers that have been
optimized for gentle daily use with the Clarisonic Skin Cleansing Systems. Do not use
the device with jagged particles such as shells. Clarisonic brushes may be used with
soft, rounded exfoliating particles.
Using the Clarisonic device to remove makeup may stain the bristles, but will not affect
performance. If discoloration occurs, clean the brush head with soap and water.
This product uses magnets.

subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B

designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a

SMART PROFILE
With a Smart Brush Head attached, this device automatically adjusts power and timing to make
it easier to achieve an optimal sonic cleanse.
TO USE
Prior to the rst use, charge the device for 24 hours.
• Remove eye makeup by hand.
• Wet your skin and the brush head with warm water.
• Liberally apply cleanser to your skin or to the brush head.
• Press the on/off button to turn on your device.
• Follow T-TIMER®prompts while gently moving the brush head in small circular motions, avoiding
the eyes.
• The device will automatically shut off after the cleansing cycle.
NOTE: Keep the brush head ush to the skin. Pressing too hard could impede the motion and
reduce effectiveness.
The Smart Prole handle is waterproof for use in the shower or bathtub. Refer to Important
Safeguards regarding the charger.
The Smart Prole device is compatible with all Clarisonic brush heads.

SMART BRUSH HEADS
The Smart Prole system includes Smart Brush Heads which are individually programmed with
protocols that automatically engage when the device is powered on. A Smart Brush Head can
be recognized by the “smart” indicator that illuminates when it is attached to the device and
running in Smart mode.
Smart Brush Heads also notify the device when a replacement brush head is needed, this is
based on tracking minutes of use.
With a Smart Brush Head attached, you have two modes of operation from which to choose:
Smart Mode: Factory setting as described above.
Manual Mode: Overrides Smart mode, allowing complete control to adjust
speeds vs. following a set protocol.

DYNAMIC FACIAL BRUSH HEAD
Smart Mode: (factory setting) Provides a custom cleansing protocol that transitions
automatically, while following the T-TIMER prompts, from deep T-zone cleansing to gentle
facial cleansing on the more sensitive cheeks.
• 20 Seconds: Deep cleansing on the forehead
• 20 Seconds: Deep cleansing on the nose and chin
• 10 Seconds: Gentle cleansing on one cheek
• 10 Seconds: Gentle cleansing on other cheek
Manual Mode: (Smart override) A one-minute cleansing cycle with T-TIMER prompts. The brush
head will cycle through 4 stages at a desired speed of your choosing. Follow the normal
Clarisonic T-TIMER for:
• 20 Seconds on the forehead
• 20 Seconds on the nose and chin
• 10 Seconds on one cheek
• 10 Seconds on other cheek
To switch between Smart Mode and Manual Mode press and hold the +/- button for 3 seconds.

FACIAL SETTINGS FOR SMART BRUSH HEAD
TURBO MASSAGE BODY BRUSH HEAD
Smart Mode: (factory setting) A three-minute cleansing cycle, the Turbo Massage Body Brush Head
will cycle through 3 stages for full body cleansing.
• 30 Seconds: Foaming massage – pulsating
• 2 Minutes: Full body cleanse – continuous
• 30 Seconds: Finishing massage – pulsating
Manual Mode: (Smart override) A three-minute full body cleansing cycle, the brush head allows
you to adjust speeds manually, 2 speed options are available for the body brush head: 1, 2 plus 3,
a pulsating massage setting.
