Safety
- Always review current legislation concerning use of mobile phones
and hands-free equipment when driving.
- Do not expose the handsfree to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Do not expose the handsfree to damp, uids or high humidity.
- Never use the handsfree in dusty or dirty environments.
- Never attempt to disassemble the handsfree or any of its parts.
This product may only be repaired by qualied service personnel.
- The internal chargeable battery may only be replaced by qualied
service personnel.
- Only use the charger provided or one recommended.
- The accompanying travel-charger is for use indoor only.

Car-handsfree with wireless Bluetooth® technology and number
display.
- DSP for effective noise and echo reduction.
- Full duplex.
- In-built 1100 mAh battery means it can be mounted without a lead.
- Up to 15 hours talk time and 250 hours standby time.
- Portable and very simple to install, attach it directly to the sun visor or
bring it to meetings to use as a conference telephone allowing every-

Getting started
Charging
Using the in-car charger
1. Turn the device on by pulling out the microphone arm.
2. Connect the accompanying in-car charger to the car’s cigarette
lighter socket and then to the charger input on the unit.
3. The status indicator on the device ashes red when charging and
goes out when the device is charged.
4. Always charge the handsfree unit three hours before its rst use.
Using the travel charger
1. Turn the device on by pulling out the microphone arm.
2. Connect the accompanying travel charger to a wall-socket and then
to the charger connection on the unit.
3. The status indicator on the device ashes red when charging and
goes out when the device is charged.
4. Always charge the handsfree unit three hours before its rst use.
Attention!
- The handsfree unit should be charged when the status indicator be-
gins ashing between red and blue and as an audio signal is heard
off repeatedly.
- The handsfree unit is fully-charged after approx. three hours.
- The status indicator goes out when the device is charged.
- Never charge the unit for more than 24 hours!

Turning the handsfree unit on and off
Turn the unit on by pulling out the
microphone arm to its fully extended
position. An audio signal is given off
once the unit is switched on at the
same time as the status indicator be-
gins ashing blue every ve seconds.
Turn the unit off by pushing the micro-
phone arm back in completely. The
status indicator stops ashing once
the device is switched off.
Conguring the mobile phone with the handsfree unit
(for the rst time)
Before the mobile phone and handsfree unit are used together for the
rst time they have to be paired. Once this is done the connection is
stored in each unit respectively.
Attention.
Read the mobile phone manual for help with Bluetooth functions.
1. Place the mobile phone and bluetooth handsfree less than a metre
away from each other.
2. Activate the mobile phone`s bluetooth function in (if the mobile
phone already has congured Proles the Handsfree prole is
recommended instead of the Headset-prole).
3. Turn the handsfree unit on.
4. Choose to search for a new bluetooth unit in the mobile phone’s
menu. The mobile phone will search for all the units within a 10
metre radius and will show them on a list.
5. Select to connect to unit HF009 and write the password, 8888,
when the password is asked for in the display.

6. The connection is now ready. After conguration certain mobile
phones will automatically connect to the handsfree unit.
7. If the telephone is not connected automatically, press the multi-func-
tion button once [ 6 ] on the handsfree unit or select to connect to
HF009 in the list of detected units in the mobile phone.
8. When the connection has been made the status indicator on the
handsfree unit changes to blue at the same time as the mobile
phone indicates* a Bluetooth connection in the display.
* May differ between different manufacturer and models.
Connect/disconnect from the handsfree unit
Disconnecting from the handsfree unit
The mobile phone can be connected when it is within range of the
handsfree unit. Press the multifunction button [ 6 ] on the handsfree unit
to connect the units. The status indicator changes to blue.
Disconnecting from the mobile phone
Select connect to HF009 in the list of detected units in the mobile phone
to connect the units. The status indicator changes to blue but glows.
Disconnecting
Disconnect from the connection by pushing the microphone arm in or
select disconnect from connection in the mobile phone’s menu.

Using the product
Attention: The following functions may differ slightly depending on the
mobile phone’s manufacturer and model.
Receiving calls
On receiving calls the display shows the incoming telephone number.
Press the multifunction button once to answer. ACTIVE CALL is
shown in the display during the current call.
Rejecting calls
You can refuse an incoming call by pressing the multifunction button
twice.
Ending calls
End current call by pressing the multifunction button once.
Answering call waitings
During a current call you can receive or refuse a call waiting. The
display shows the current call’s telephone number.
Refuse call waiting:
Call waiting is automatically refused if the button is not pressed after 8
seconds or by pressing the multifunction button twice.
Answering call waiting and ending current calls:
Press the multifunction button once to answer the call waiting and end
the current call.
Answering call waiting and parking current calls:
Press and hold the multifunction button for two seconds to park
current calls and answer call waiting. CALL HOLD is shown in the
display when a call has been parked.
Press the multifunction button again for two seconds in order to
resume the parked call.
Moving the call to the mobile phone
The call can be moved to the mobile phone at anytime. Press and
hold the multifunction button for three seconds in order to move
the current call to the mobile phone. To move the call back, press the
multifunction button once.
