Measuring Jug Kitchen Scale

Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. Wereserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technical data. Ifyou have any questions regarding
technical problems please contact our Customer Services.
Note:
• Remove thejug from thekitchen scale before emptying out thecontents. Ifyou
hold thekitchen scale by thehandle and empty out thecontents whilst thejug is
still in place, hold thejug as shown in thepicture to prevent it from coming off.
• It might be necessary to remove apiece of insulating film from thebattery before
thekitchen scale can be used. Theinsulation film preserves battery capacity
of thekitchen scale during transportation and storage (refer to theBattery
sectionbelow).
• Never immerse thekitchen scale in water. Themeasuring jug should be thoroughly
washed after contact with foodstuffs.

Battery
1. Open thebattery cover by sliding it downwards in thedirection of thearrow.
2. If there is any insulation film around thebattery, remove it.
3. Slide thebattery cover back intoplace.
Changing batteries
1. Open thebattery cover by sliding
it downwards in thedirection of
thearrow.
2. Carefully push thebattery into
theholder so that it is free of
theplastic lugs holding it inplace.
3. Lift and remove thebattery.
4. Insert anew battery by sliding it into
theholder and then making sure
that it is held in place by thelugs.
Note: Followthepolarity marking on thebattery holder, thenegative terminal should
face downwards.
Operating instructions
1. Switch thekitchen scale on by pressing [ON/OFF, ZERO], thescale will start in
weighing mode.
2. Press [MODE] repeatedly to change modes.
3. Switch thekitchen scale off by holding in [ON/OFF, ZERO] for at least 3 seconds.
4. The kitchen scale will automatically switch off if thedisplay shows “0” or shows
thesame weight/volume reading for 30 seconds.

Weighing
Note: Flouris only measured in cups. 1 cup = 241ml.
1. Placed thekitchen scale on afirm, flat surface.
2. If themeasuring jug is to be used, place thejug onto thescale.
3. Press [ON/OFF, ZERO] to switch thekitchen scale on, thescale will start in
weighing mode.
4. Wait until “0” is displayed. Placetheobject to be weighed onto thescale or in
thejug and read theweight reading.
Measuring thevolume of milk (in ml)
1. Place thekitchen scale on afirm, flat surface.
2. Place themeasuring jug onto thescale.
3. Press [ON/OFF, ZERO] to switch thekitchen scale on, thescale will start in
weighing mode.
4. Wait until “0” is displayed. Press[MODE] until thearrow symbol indicates that
“MILK” is selected.
5. Press [UNIT] to select ml as theunit of measurement.
6. Pour milk into themeasuring jug.
7. Read thevolume on thedisplay.
Tare function
The tare function enables you to measure several ingredients together in themeasuring
jug at thesame time without having to empty thejug between measurements.
1. Add thefirst ingredient until thecorrect amount is shown on thedisplay.
2. Leave thefirst ingredient in thejug and press [ON/OFF, ZERO]. Thescale will be
reset tozero.
3. Add thenext ingredient until thecorrect amount is shown on thedisplay.
Press[ON/OFF,ZERO]. Thescale will once again be set tozero.
4. Add thenext ingredient and so on, until all theingredients have been weighed.
Changing theunit of weight
Press [UNIT] to toggle theunit between g(grams) and lb:oz (pounds/ounces).
Changing theunit of volume
Press [UNIT] to toggle between ml, fl oz andcups.
Error/Warning messages
1. Replace thebattery.
2. Overload - thescale’s weight capacity (3 kg) has
beenexceeded. Removetheload from thescale to
prevent damage.

Care and maintenance
• Clean thekitchen scale using alightly moistened cloth. Onlyuse mild cleaning
agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Never immerse thekitchen scale inwater.
• The measuring jug should be thoroughly washed after contact with foodstuffs.
• This kitchen scale is aprecision instrument and should not be subjected to
vibrations, impacts orblows.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Obs!
• Ta bort måttkannan från köksvågen när du häller ut innehållet. Omdu tar tag
ivågens handtag och häller ut innehållet när måttkannan sitter på köksvågen,
hållfast måttkannan som bilden visar för att undvika att den lossnar.
• En transportisolering kan behöva tas bort från batteriet innan köksvågen kan
användas. Isoleringen används för att spara batterikapaciteten under transport
ochlagring av köksvågen (se avsnittet Batteri nedan).
• Sänk aldrig ner köksvågen ivatten. Diskamåttkannan ordentligt när den varit
ikontakt med matvaror.

Batteri
1. Öppna batteriluckan genom att skjuta den nedåt ipilens riktning.
2. Ta bort ev. isolering från batteriet.
3. Skjut tillbaka batteriluckan.
Byte av batteri
1. Öppna batteriluckan genom att
skjuta den nedåt ipilens riktning.
2. Skjut batteriet försiktigt in ihållaren
så att det går fritt från plasthaken
som håller det påplats.
3. Lyft upp batteriet och ta bortdet.
4. Sätt iett nytt batteri genom att
skjuta in det ihållaren, se till att det
fäster under den lillahaken.
Obs! Semärkningen ibotten på batterihållaren, batteriets minussida ska vändas nedåt.
Användning
1. Slå på köksvågen genom att trycka [ON/OFF, ZERO], vågen startar med
vägningsfunktionen aktiverad.
2. Tryck [MODE] upprepade gånger för att byta funktion.
3. Slå av köksvågen genom att hålla in [ON/OFF, ZERO] i3 sekunder.
4. Köksvågen slås automatiskt av om displayen visar ”0” eller sammavärde
för vikt/volym i30 sekunder.
