Ensure that all safety precautions are followe when using this electrical appliance for the proper
operation of the evice. These instructions escribe the safety precautions to be observe uring
operation. They are esigne to prevent injuries or amage to this evice.
Safety Precautions
The inner ultrasonic trans ucer is highly sensitive. Do not touch it with bare fingers or
scrape it with metal tools, or it will re uce mist output. When cleaning this area please use
a small cleaning brush, cotton swab or tooth brush. Do not use hot water as it may amage
the misting parts.
Use proper voltage - AC 110~120V 60Hz in Cana a/USA; AC 220~240V 50Hz in Europe.
Use of improper voltage may cause fire hazar or electric shock.
To prevent electric shock, o not ismantle, repair or mo ify this pro uct. Maintenance an
cleaning shoul be followe exactly as instructe in this manual. In the event of a
malfunction, please contact an authorize Clean Air Optima maintenance center.
Do not use in areas where flammable or explosive materials are store .
Do not place this evice in irect sunlight or near objects that generate high temperature
heat. The heat may cause eformation or warping of the outer casing.
Do not use the humi ifier in a room that alrea y has humi ity levels above 50% relative
humi ity. Excessive humi ity in the room gives rise to con ensation on col surfaces such
as walls or win ows.
Do not operate the unit without water in the basin.
Do not insert foreign objects into the evice. Do not touch the trans ucer or the lower
water basin when the unit is operating. Do not scratch the trans ucer. Do not touch the
mist output when pro ucing warm mist.
Do not submerge this evice in water. Water or cleaning liqui s may only be use on parts
to be cleane accor ing to the cleaning an maintenance instructions.
Only use lime scale remover or vinegar to clean mineral eposits from the basin or
trans ucer. Do not use any harsh etergents that may amage the unit.
If you smell an abnormal o our, please turn off an unplug the unit an call Clean Air
Optima technical support.
Clean an ry the evice before storage (inclu ing the removal of all water from the insi e
of the evice). Store the machine in a cool an ry place outsi e the reach of chil ren.
Do not use fabrics or other materials to cover this evice. Obstructe air inlets an outlets
will result in improper operation of this unit an may result in fire or other amage.
To prevent interference an amage to other electronic evices, this machine shoul be
place at least 1 meter away from a computer, television, ra io or other electronic
equipment.
The ultrasonic humi ifier shoul be cleane regularly for proper operation an long life. See
cleaning instructions.
The high frequency vibrations cannot be hear by humans or animals, an are completely
safe.
For safety reasons an to prevent fire or electric shock, unplug the power cor from the
electric outlet socket whenever you:
-Do not use the evice for a long perio of time.
-Remove the tank, clean or service the machine or the permanent filter.
-Move or transport the evice.
