Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save it for

Safety
1. The dehumidifier must only be connected to a220–240 V, 50 Hz earthed outlet
fitted with anRCD.
2. The dehumidifier may be used by children of 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
3. Never let children play with thedehumidifier.
4. Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children but only under
adult supervision.
5. The dehumidifier must always stand upright.
6. Never sit, cover or place foreign objects on thedehumidifier.
7. Make sure that therubber plug in thedrain hose hole is securely in place before
turning thedehumidifier on if it is not to be used for continuous dehumidification.
8. The dehumidifier must stand upright for at least 1 hour before it is used for thefirst
time. The same applies after thethe dehumidifier has been moved or cleaned, etc.
9. Make sure that theair filter is clean and correctly fitted before turning
thedehumidifier on.
10. Never use thedehumidifier if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged
or does not work properly.
11. Never try to dismantle or repair you dehumidifier yourself.
12. If thedehumidifier needs to be used with anextension lead or trailing socket,
make sure that thelead used is suitable for use with thedehumidifier.
13. Never plug in or unplug thedehumidifier with wet hands.
14. Never insert foreign objects into thedehumidifier’s openings.
15. Unplug thedehumidifier immediately if it emits strange noises, odours or smoke.
16. Unplug thedehumidifier immediately if it tips over or if it is splashed with water.
Contact aqualified service technician before using thedehumidifier again.
17. The dehumidifier must not be covered in any way. Make sure that no foreign
objects cover or block theair inlet/outlet. Blockages can lead to fires, electric shocks
or damage to thedehumidifier.
18. Never use thedehumidifier in areas where flammable liquids/materials or gases
(petrol, solvents, gas cylinders) are stored or used.

19. Unplug thedehumidifier from thewall socket when it is not in use.
20. Never use themains lead plug for turning thedehumidifier on or off.
The dehumidifier should only be switched on and off using theon/off switch.
21. Before moving thedehumidifier: Make sure it is switched off, unplugged and that
thewater tank is empty.
22. Never expose thedehumidifier to running/splashing water or other liquids. Liquid
coming in contact with electrical components can be extremely hazardous.
23. Do not place thedehumidifier where there is arisk of it falling into water or other
liquid. Do not place any objects which contain liquid onto thedehumidifier such as
vases, drinks, etc.

Placement
• The dehumidifier is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Do not use thedehumidifier in aroom in which thetemperature might fall to
below 5 ºC.
• Make sure that thedehumidifier is standing firmly on aflat surface capable of
supporting its weight even when thewater reservoir is full.
• Make sure that themains lead is easily accessible and is not damaged by sharp
edges or is crushed in any way during use.
• Extra caution should taken be when thedehumidifier is used in thesame
environment as infants, small children and theelderly.
• The dehumidifier should be placed where it can draw in air from theentire house.
• All interior doors should be opened. Close exterior doors and windows.
• If any part of your house suffers from severe humidity, thedehumidifier can be
placed there first and then moved to another part of thehouse later.
• Position thedehumidifier where theair can circulate freely, allow at least
20 cm of air space on all sides.
• Never place thedehumidifier next to aradiator or heating appliance.
Operating instructions
Note:
• Make sure that therubber plug in thedrain hose hole is securely in place before
turning thedehumidifier on if it is not to be used for continuous dehumidification.
• The dehumidifier works best at normal room temperature, its efficiency is reduced
if theambient temperature falls to below 15 ºC.
• Let thedehumidifier operate continuously for 24 hours thefirst time it used.
See theContinuous operation section below.
• If thedehumidifier is turned off and then turned back on again immediately,
it will take approximately 3 minutes to reach full power.
• Never use thedehumidifier without theair filter in place.
Switching the dehumidifier on/off
1. Read all theinstructions in theSafety and Placement sections above.
2. Connect themains lead to awall socket with thespecifications listed in
part 1 of theSafety section above.
3. Turn thedehumidifier on by pressing the[on/off] button.
4. Turn thedehumidifier off by pressing the[on/off] button again.

Automatic shut-off
When thewater reservoir is full thedehumidifier shuts off automatically and
the“WATER FULL” LED indicator on thecontrol panel lights.
Emptying the water reservoir
1. Unplug themains lead from thewall socket.
2. Grip thewater reservoir by thehandles on
each side and pull it forwards.
3. Empty thewater out of water reservoir
and then refit it onto thedehumidifier.
The dehumidifier will restart automatically
once thewater reservoir has been refitted
if it was shut off automatically.
Automatic defrost feature
The dehumidifier is equipped with anautomatic defrost feature. Frost can build up
on some components inside thedehumidifier under certain conditions. The defrost
feature removes this frost. No settings can or need to be made for this feature.
Air filter
Disassembly
1. Grip thewater reservoir by thehandles
on each side and pull it forwards.
See thediagram under theEmptying
thewater reservoir section above.
2. Press in thelocking tabs and pull
theair filter straight down.
Cleaning
1. Wash thefilter carefully in warm water,
use amild detergent if necessary.
Note: Do not wash theair filter in
adishwasher.
2. Rinse thefilter in clean water and let
it dry before reinserting it.
Assembly
Refit theair filter by pushing it in until
thelocking tabs click.

Continuous operation
When thedehumidifier is used in anenvironment with high humidity, thewater
reservoir will need emptying often. In such circumstances, it could be more practical
to run thedehumidifier continuously.
1. Remove therubber plug covering thedrain hose connection (9).
2. Connect asuitable 12 mm bore drain hose (sold separately). Make sure that
thedrain hose is secure and tight to prevent leakage.
3. The other end of thedrain hose should be inserted into adrain which is lower than
thedrain hose connection on thedehumidifier.
4. Position thehose in such away that thewater can drain freely. Avoid kinking and
pinching thehose.
5. To discontinue continuous operation, switch thedehumidifier off, unplug it and
disconnect thedrain hose.
6. Re-insert therubber plug into thedrain hose connection.
7. Plug themains lead back in and switch thedehumidifier on again.
Care and maintenance
Note: Turn thedehumidifier off and pull out theplug before cleaning or servicing it.
• Clean theexterior of thedehumidifier using alightly moistened cloth. Only use mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Vacuum clean theair inlet and outlet grilles of thedehumidifier.
• Remove thewater reservoir (see theEmptying thewater reservoir section above)
every 14th day and wash it by hand using amild detergent. Rinse it with clean water.
• Note: Do not wash thewater reservoir in adishwasher.
• Clean theair filter every 14th day, see theAir filter section above.
• If thedehumidifier is not to be used for anextended period
- Switch thedehumidifier off, unplug it, wind up themains lead and hang it on
thelead holder.
- Clean thehousing of thedehumidifier.
- Wait 24 hours before emptying thewater reservoir to ensure that all thewater
in thedehumidifier has had time to collect in it.
- Remove thewater reservoir, empty it, dry it and then refit it.
- Remove theair filter, clean and refit it.
- Store thedehumidifier in adry, well-ventilated place.

Troubleshooting guide
The dehumidifier will
not switch on.
• Make sure that themains lead is properly plugged
in and that there is power in thewall socket.
• The water reservoir is full or incorrectly fitted.
The humidity is
not reducing.
• The dehumidifier has not been used long enough.
• Make sure that nothing is preventing theair in
theroom where thedehumidifier is used from
circulating properly.
• Make sure that no outdoor air can enter theroom
in which thedehumidifier is being used.
• The ambient temperature is below 15 ºC.
• Is there aheat source in theroom which is raising
thehumidity?
Unusual noises emitted
during use.
• Make sure that theair filter is clean.
• The dehumidifier is tilted or standing on an
uneven surface.
The dehumidifier is
leaking.
• Make sure that thedrain hose is properly connected
if thedehumidifier is used in continuous
operation mode.
• Make sure that therubber plug is covering thedrain
hose connection if thedehumidifier is used in normal
mode/not continuously.
The POWER LED
flashes.
• The humidity and/or temperature sensor is
defective. Turn off theair conditioner, pull out
theplug and plug it in again. If this does not solve
theproblem, contact aqualified service centre.
Disposal
This dehumidifier should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.

Säkerhet

utrustat med jordfelsbrytare.
2. Luftavfuktaren får användas av barn från 8 år och av personer med någon form
av funktionsnedsättning, brist på erfarenhet eller kunskap som skulle kunna
äventyra säkerheten, om de har fått instruktioner om hur den på ettsäkert sätt ska
användas och förstår faror och risker som kan uppkomma.
3. Låt aldrig barn leka med luftavfuktaren.
4. Rengöring och skötsel får utföras av barn endast i vuxens närvaro.
5. Luftavfuktaren måste alltid stå upprätt.
6. Sitt aldrig, och placera aldrig främmande föremål av något slag, på luftavfuktaren.
7. Kontroller att gummipluggen i anslutningen för dräneringsslangen är ordentligt
intryckt innan luftavfuktaren slås på vid användning utan kontinuerlig avfuktning.
8. Innan luftavfuktaren tas i bruk för första gången ska den stå upprätt minst 1 timme
innan den används. Detsamma gäller om luftavfuktaren kommit ur sin upprätta
position genom att den flyttats, rengjorts etc.
9. Kontrollera att luftfiltret är rengjort och rätt monterat innan luftavfuktaren används.
10. Använd aldrig luftavfuktaren om nätkabeln, stickproppen eller någon annan del är
skadad eller inte fungerar normalt.
11. Försök aldrig själv ta isär eller reparera luftavfuktaren.
12. Om luftavfuktaren måste användas med skarvkabel eller grenuttag, försäkra dig
om att dessa är lämpliga att använda tillsammans med luftavfuktare.
13. Ta inte i stickproppen med våta händer när den sätts i eller dras ur vägguttaget.
14. Stick aldrig in föremål av något slag i luftavfuktarens öppningar.
15. Dra omedelbart ur nätkabeln ur vägguttaget om främmande ljud, lukt eller rök
kommer från luftavfuktaren.
16. Dra omedelbart ur nätkabeln ur vägguttaget om luftavfuktaren faller ner i eller blir
översköljd av vatten. Kontakta kvalificerad service innan luftavfuktaren används igen.
17. Luftavfuktaren får inte på något sätt övertäckas. Se till att främmande föremål inte
täcker för eller tränger in i luftinlopp/utlopp. Detta kan leda till elchock, brand eller
att luftavfuktaren förstörs.
18. Använd aldrig luftavfuktaren i lokaler där brandfarliga vätskor/ämnen eller gaser
(bensin, lösningsmedel, gasol etc.) förvaras eller används.
