1.1.2. Purpose
The SDC/DDC heater is designed for 2 purposes :
- For Diving Bell :
Supplied with hot water between 40°C to 45°C, the S DC/DDC heater is able to
maintain the temperature in bells up to 6m

- For Decompression Chambers :
Supplied with hot water between 65°C to 70°C, the S DC/DDC heater may be
used as main heating unit for small chambers. For bigger chambers, it may be
used as an additional heater or as an emergency heater to meet the most recent
standards.
Supplied with chilled water, it may also be used as an AC unit.
1.1.3. General description
The exchanger coil is a finned tube. The fan forces the gas through the heat
exchanger, where it is heated or cooled by water.
The heater is equipped with brackets for mounting on a bulkhead or other
support.
