PH52 Install Instructions

1.a. Place the 13’11” top rail, 12’ 6” horizontal ladder, and 27’10” top rail in the play space as shown below.

Mark where the ladder holes will need to be dug. Remove the top rails and horizontal ladder and dig the ladder

holes to the measurements specied below.

Sleeve the insert into 13’11” toprail.

1.b. To assemble 27’10” toprail take the 13’11” topail and the 13’11” toprail with insert. Sleeve the insert of 1

7/8” into the 13’11” toprail. Now that you have it sleeved all the way in, secure it by using 2- 3/8” set screws

and securing them tight (with allen wrentch provided) in the 2 holes drilled and tapped at the top of the 13’11”

toprail.

Assembling and standing the Swing Structure

2.a. Assemble the triple end to the top rail as shown below.

1. Slide the end of the drilled top rail into the triple end.

2. Align the hole in the top rail with the hole in the sleeve

of the triple end and join together using a 7/16” x 3 ¼” hex

bolt and 7/16” nylock nut.

3. Insert and tighten set screws into triple end socket with

allen wrench provided.

2.b. Assemble the legs into the triple end and top rail as shown below.

1. Slide the end of the drilled legs into the triple end.

2. Align the holes in the legs with the holes in the triple end and

join together using a 9/16” x 2 ¾” hex bolts and 9/16” nylock nuts.

3. Insert and tighten set screws into triple end with allen wrench

provided.

Assembling ladders and attaching to deck support structure (please read through all instructions before

continueing)

Install will be easier by completing 4.a. before continueing. (The rest of step 4 will be shown later)

4.a. Make a mark 108” up from the bottom of the ladder onto each ladder rail. Move the adjustable sleeves to

these marks and position them to receive the horizontal ladder by turning them to point at a 90 degree angle (to-

wards what will become the inside of the Horizontal ladder section of the structure.) Secure the set screws. The

sleeves should sit 18” apart on center in order to line up with horizontal ladder.

3.a. Position parts as shown below and insert assembly into ladders. Use the mark previously made on the top

rail to show you how far the assembly needs to be inserted. Insert set screws into the ladder top sleeve and

tighten until barely snug. Do not secure them at this point.

3.b. Using two strong adults lift the ladders and the A Frame end and allow the ladders to fall into the holes. You

can allow the structure to stand it will not be level at this time.

Situate the ladder and “A” frame legs as desired in the space. Be certain that the top rail has not slid away

from its correct position. If it has moved, hold onto the ladder and adjust its position on the top rail by pulling

or pushing as necessary. When you are content with the position of the top rail within the top sleeve, secure the

set screws in the top sleeve.
