Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Produkt von CSL entschieden haben. Damit Sie
auch lange Freude mit Ihrem erworbenen Gerät haben werden, lesen Sie sich bie
die nachfolgende Kurzanleitung aufmerksam durch. Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme
der gelieferten Ware, ob diese vollständig, fehlerfrei und unbeschädigt ist.

3. Eigenschaen
Das Festplaengehäuse bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, eine Festplae als externes
Laufwerk zu verwenden. Dazu müssen Sie lediglich Ihre Serial-ATA-Festplae in das
Gehäuse einbauen, das Gerät über das beiliegende Netzteil mit Strom versorgen
und über das mitgelieferte USB-Anschlusskabel eine Verbindung zum Computer
herstellen. Eine manuelle Treiberinstallaon ist nicht erforderlich.

4. Inbetriebnahme
Kontrollieren Sie bei Ersnbetriebnahme des Gerätes nochmals die Unversehrt-
heit des Produkts bzw. der Bauteile sowie die Funkon. Entnehmen Sie das
Festplaengehäuse aus der Verpackung und enernen Sie jegliches Verpackungs-
material. Im Anschluss müssen Sie mit dem Schraubendreher das Festplaenge-
häuse an der Vorderseite aufschrauben.
Anschließend ist es notnwendig, dass Sie die Festplae mit der Frontplae über den
SATA-Anschluss verbinden.

Sollte Ihre Festplae etwas instabil eingebaut sein, empfehlen wir Ihnen die mitge-
lieferten Plask-Stützen an die Festplae zu moneren, um den Halt der Festplae
zu stabilisieren. Nun müssen Sie nur noch das Festplaengehäuse schließen und
festschrauben.
Verbinden Sie das USB-Kabel mit dem Gehäuse und Ihrem Computer oder
Notebook. Schließen Sie im Anschluss das Netzteil mit dem Gehäuse und ei-
ner ordnungsgemäß angeschlossenen Steckdose an. Schalten Sie als nächstes
den “ON/OFF”-Schalter auf die Posion “ON”. Ihr Gerät ist nun einsatzbereit.
5. Sicherheitshinweise und Haungsausschluss
Versuchen Sie nie das Gerät zu önen, um Reparaturen oder Umbauten vor-
zunehmen. Vermeiden Sie Kontakt zu den Netzspannungen. Schließen Sie das
Produkt nicht kurz. Das Gerät ist nicht wasserdicht, bie verwenden Sie es nur im
Trockenen. Schützen Sie es vor hoher Lufeuchgkeit, Wasser und Schnee. Halten
Sie das Gerät von hohen Temperaturen fern.
Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen plötzlichen Temperaturwechseln oder starken Vibra-
onen aus, da dies die Elektronikteile beschädigen könnte. Prüfen Sie vor der Ver-
wendung das Gerät auf Beschädigungen. Das Gerät sollte nicht benutzt werden,
wenn es einen Stoß abbekommen hat oder in sonsger Form beschädigt wurde.
Beachten Sie bie die naonalen Besmmungen und Beschränkungen. Nutzen Sie
das Gerät nicht für andere Zwecke als die, die in der Anleitung beschrieben sind.
Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug. Bewahren Sie es außerhalb der Reichweite von

Kindern oder geisg beeinträchgten Personen auf. Jede Reparatur oder Verände-
rung am Gerät, die nicht vom ursprünglichen Lieferanten durchgeführt.

Elektrische und elektronische Geräte dürfen nach der europäischen WEEE
Richtlinie nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Deren Bestandteile müssen
getrennt der Wiederverwertung oder Entsorgung zugeführt werden, weil giige

please keep this manual. When the device is put into operaon for the rst me,

3. Features
The hard-disk enclosure oers you the opportunity to use a hard-drive as an external
drive. For this, please install your serial-ATA hard-drive into the enclosure. Aer that
you can power the device via the supplied power adapter and connect it with the
computer using the supplied USB cable. A manual driver installaon is not required.
4. Geng started
When the device is put into operaon for the rst me, check the intactness of the
product or components and their funcon again. Please take the hard-disk case out
of its packaging and put the packaging aside. Then please unscrew the two screws

on the front side of the hard-disk case. Now please connect your hard disk with the
connectors of the case.
If your hard disk does not rmly sit in the case, please x the furnished plasc sup-
ports on each side of your hard disk to stabilize the ng of it in the case.

Now you only have to close the case and x the front side by the two screws on
it. Please connect the USB lead with the connector of the hard disk case and your
computer or laptop.
Then connect the 3.5 mm jack of the power supply charger with the case and
connect the power supply charger to a wall plug. Next please put the switch on
the case in the “ON” posion. Now your hard-disk case is ready for use.
5. Safety instrucons and disclaimer
Do not aempt to service this product by yourself as opening or removing covers
may result in re, electric shock or equipment damage. Please avoid any contact
to the electric current. This product is only licensed for indoor use and dry areas.
Please protect it from water, rain, snow or high humidity and keep it away from
high temperatures and direct sunlight.
Do not expose this product to extreme and sudden changes of temperature or
heavy vibraons; this may lead to damage of the internal electronic part of this
unit. Check this product for signs of damage before pung it in operaon. In
case the device received any damage, it should not be used. Please contact our
customer support. Please observe the relevant naonal provisions and legal
restricons. Do not use this product for anything other than intended and as
described in the manual. Any aempt of repairs or alteraons by someone other
than the original supplier will invalidate the guarantee and result in refusal of
warranty claims.
