Bracket Installation

Note: Removing the cutting deck from beneath the tractor

as instructed in your tractor’s Operator’s Manual will ease

installation of this kit.

1. Secure the roller mount to the rear center of the cutting

deck using two carriage bolts (710-3178) and two flange

lock nuts (712-04065) included with this kit. See Figure 1-2.

Note: Feed the carriage bolts up through the bottom of the

deck, then through the roller mount and secure with the

flange lock nuts included.

Figure 1-2

19A30024100 lawn striping kit is designed for use with three-

blade cutting decks found on select Cub Cadet models. Refer

to your machine’s Operator’s Manual or consult your Cub Cadet

dealer to assure compatibility.

Roller Installation

1. Position the four rollers between the mounting holes on

the roller mountain bracket as shown in Figure 1-3.

2. Insert the pin (711-05664) through the bracket and rollers

and secure it in place with the included hex lock nut (712-

3083). See Figure 1-3. Be sure that the hooked end of the

pin engages the second hole on the left side bracket as

shown in the inset of Figure 1-3.

IMPORTANT: Tighten hex nut until rollers are snug, yet still free

to turn. Do not overtighten.

Figure 1-3

Note: The right side of the roller mounting bracket has two

adjustment holes, while the left side utilizes a elongated

mounting hole. Use the upper hole on the roller mounting

bracket for lower deck setting applications and the lower hole

for higher deck settings. The rollers are not designed to engage

the ground enough that it causes the deck of the mower to pitch

forward.
