INSTRUCTION GUIDE
• For safety your new Powerbox 10 ships with the battery partially
disconnected.
• Before first use open the Powerbox using the latch on the left end.
• The negative wire to the battery is disconnected.
• Connect the black wire to the negative (-)(black) terminal.
• Be mindful of the wires while closing your Powerbox to ensure
nothing gets caught or crushed.
GETTING STARTED

12V POST TERMINALS
•Plug charger into confirmed functional wall outlet
•Confirm charger is active via green LED on charger
•Insert the silver pins into the tops of the POST TERMINALS
•Activate POST TERMINAL SWITCH on Powerbox 10
•Clamp the RED clip to the silver pin in the RED POST
•Clamp the BLACK clip to the silver pin in the BLACK POST
•Charger LED will turn red when charging cycle begins and stay
red while charging
•Charger LED will turn green when charge is complete
•Initial charge will take 3-4 hours
NOTE: MASTER POWER SWITCH does not need to be active
for charging
CHARGING
•Activate MASTER POWER SWITCH
• The Dakota Lithium LED namplate will light up, indicating
power is active
• Flip up rubber port cover of DUAL USB PORTS / VOLTMETER
• Note VOLTMETER voltage readout, which confirms
DUAL USB PORTS are active
• Use DUAL USB PORTS for smaller electronics, such as
phone chargers
•Min voltage: 10 V
•Max voltage: 15 V
DUAL USB PORTS / VOLTMETER
•Activate MASTER POWER SWITCH
• The Dakota Lithium LED namplate will light up, indicating
power is active
•Activate LED / FLASHLIGHT POWER SWITCH
•LED FLASHLIGHT is now active and ready for use
•Activate MASTER POWER SWITCH
• The Dakota Lithium LED namplate will light up, indicating
power is active
•Flip up rubber port cover of 12V CAR PLUG
• 12V CAR PLUG is now active for use
LED / FLASHLIGHT USE
12V CAR PLUG USE
• DEACTIVATE ALL SWITCHES
•Open latch on non-LED / FLASHLIGHT side of Powerbox
• Locate fuse lead coming off of positive (red) terminal of battery
•Flip open rubber fuse covering
• Determine whether or not fuse needs replacement through
visual inspection
• If needed, replace the fuse with an ATC / ATO 10 amp fuse
FUSE REPLACEMENT
•Activate POST TERMINAL SWITCH
• POST TERMINALS are now active for use
NOTE: The Powerbox is charged through the POST TERMINALS
NOTE: POST TERMINALS are on a separate circuit, and
do not require the MASTER POWER SWITCH to be active
