Install the ATA and attach the phone according to
this manual to avoid damage to the devices or
difficulty in operation.
Do not install in direct sunlight or in an area
where heat can build up such as on carpet,
cushion or blanket. This may cause the device
to fail and is also a fire hazard.
Do not install in a poorly ventilated area. This
may cause the device to fail and is also a fire
hazard.
Do not install in areas of high humidity such as a
bathroom or kitchen.
Do not install in areas subject to wind and rain.
Damp areas can cause electric shock and is also
a fire hazard.
Do not place liquids near the device.
Accidental spills of liquids onto the device may
cause the device to fail, is also an electric shock
and fire hazard.
User Environment

Important Safety Information
Install the device in a stable location. Slanted
shelves or areas subject to vibration may cause
the device to fall and break
Install the device away from sources of
interference such as the TV, sound system,
refrigerator or appliances with electric motors.
This may cause the phone line to be noisy.
Do not install in a dusty area.
This is an electric shock and fire hazard.
Do not install in an area subject to frequent
vibration. This may shorten lifetime of the device.

Do not cover the device with carpet, cushions and
the like as this is a fire hazard.
Do not install power adapter near a heat source as
this is a fire and electric shock hazard.
Do not place heavy objects on the power cord. Do
not put tight bends or knots in the power cord as
this is a fire and electric shock hazard.
Do not modify or attempt to repair the power cord.
It must be replaced.
To avoid a potential fire hazard, make sure the
power plug contacts are clean and the power plug
is firmly plugged into the power outlet.
When moving the device to a new location, be
sure to unplug the power and later recheck all the
connections.
Before connecting the power adapter, ensure it
has the correct voltage setting. Incorrect voltage
settings are a fire hazard.

Important Safety Information
Only qualified service personnel can repair
phone equipment.
Consult your authorized supplier for assistance.
Phone Equipment
Do not clean the device with solvents such as
acetone as this may cause deformation or
discoloration.
Do not insert metallic objects or foreign matter
into the device. If something has been inserted,
do not touch it, disconnect the device from power
and call the service center for assistance.
If there has been a gas leak in the room, do not
operate the phone equipment as sparks may
cause explosion.
Ensure the room is well ventilated before
operating the phone equipment.
Do not touch the phone equipment or power pack
during an electrical storm.
This is an electric shock hazard.
If there is the smell of something burning or
smoke coming from the device, disconnect the
power and call the service center for assistance.
If left unattended this may cause fire or become
an electric shock hazard.
