1. Click the USB icon on the Windows taskbar usually located at the bot-
tom right of the Desktop.
2. From the popup menu, select the Stop command.

To transfer files to your HD100, you must connect the provided Universal
Serial Bus (USB) cable and connect your player to a power source.
Ensure your player is paused before you connect the cable.
1. Connect the AC adaptor to the player and a power source
2. Insert the larger end of the USB cable into an available USB port on
your PC.
1. Connect the USB cable
When you connect the HD100 to your PC with the provided USB
cable, the PC recognizes it as an external hard drive. To transfer files
to and from your player, use the standard Microsoft Windows
Explorer software installed with your operating system.

3. On the player, open the cover of the USB port ( ) and connect the
smaller end of the cable to the player. The USB connector should slide
easily into the port; do not use force.
4. The player LCD shows USB Connected.
Once you're finished transferring files, be sure to Disconnect the
USB Cable from the player as described in the next section.
It is important to follow this procedure to disconnect the USB cable
from your HD100 and PC. If you do not, you risk losing files as they
are transferring to your player.
When you connect your HD100 and PC with the provided USB cable, the
PC recognizes it as an external hard drive that you can use to transport
data files. This means you can drag and drop files using Microsoft
Windows Explorer or save a file by selecting the drive letter directly from
within a software application. You can even open files directly from the
HD100.

If HD100 recognize as new hardware in your PC when you con-
nect the USB cable to your player, windows run the Add New
Hardware Wizard. Then you insert Installation CD to PC CD
drive, select the Driver folder from installation CD when win-
dows searches location of the driver for new device.
