Minicool Compact Night & Day es un equipo de aire acondicionado autónomo a mo-
tor parado y motor en marcha y de uso nocturno y diurno.
Minicool Compact Night & Day garantiza la refrigeración de la cabina del vehículo
durante los periodos de descanso del conductor, operaciones de carga y descarga así
como durante la conducción.
Minicool Compact Night & Day está diseñado con la más avanzada tecnología para
lograr un ecaz rendimiento, una reducción en el gasto de combustible y en las emisio-
nes de CO2 a la atmósfera.
Son estas características lo que lo hacen único en el mercado del Aire Acondicionado
para vehículos.
El único mantenimiento requerido es la limpieza periódica del condensador al menos
1 vez al año (1).

1.- On/off: encendido - apagado del equipo y selección de modo F4/ F0/ F5/ F1/ F2
2.- Selector de temperatura (15/ 27 ºC) y Velocidad de aire: Control de temperatura ambiente
y velocidad del soplador (entre 1ª y 5ª velocidad) solo modo manual.
3.- Display: Pantalla donde se indica la función seleccionada y el estado del equipo.
4.- Selector tiempo en modo F5: 30´ o 60´ de funcionamiento automático
5.- Led : Encendido Luna- indica potencia intermedia f0, f4
Encendido Sol- indica potencia máxima P0, p4 y f5

Panel de control
Mensajes especiales del display (por favor mirar Diagnosis de averías):
:“Technical Control” Batería baja (emitirá pitidos durante 30 seg. y el equipo se apaga)
EO: Mal contacto de los cables de la sonda de recirculación ó sonda averiada.
E6: Mal contacto de los cables de sonda antihielo ó sonda averiada.
NP: No permite seleccionar F5 una vez transcurrido el tiempo pre-seleccionado; 30 minutos
ó 1 hora.
(La función F5 sólo podrá volver a ser activada si se mantiene el equipo funcionando en modo
P4 ó P0 y se mantiene arrancado el motor del vehículo de modo ininterrumpido durante un tiempo
de unos 20 minutos -en función del estado de carga y/o degradación de las baterías-)
• Al conectar, el equipo hace un chequeo de los leds y aparece en display -2 y se apaga.

Encendido del Equipo
Para encender Minicool Compact Night & Day pulsar la tecla On/off . El equipo siempre
arranca en Función F4 (Función Automática).
Para cambiar de función, mantener pulsada la tecla On/Off . Irán pasando las distintas fun-
ciones por el Display, soltar la tecla al obtener la función deseada.

Función F4 Funcionamiento automático del equipo, a potencia intermedia.
p4 Funcionamiento automático del equipo a máxima potencia
Función F0 Funcionamiento Manual del equipo , a potencia intermedia.
P0 Funcionamiento Manual, Máxima potencia.
F0 El usuario puede elegir la temperatura de confort así como variar la velocidad del soplador
del equipo de forma manual. En caso de estar en marcha el motor del vehículo o poner el
motor del vehículo en marcha el equipo pasara automáticamente a modo P0 en un breve
periodo de tiempo.
NOTA:
Esta función P0, no es seleccionable manualmente. Es activada automáticamente por el equipo.
Estando el motor del vehículo parado esta función puede también ser activada automáticamente
por el equipo , si éste detecta que las baterías están muy cargadas. El equipo permanecerá en este
modo durante un tiempo para después pasar al modo F0 seleccionado.
La temperatura de confort se controla pulsando brevemente las teclas (15/ 27 ºC)
Las velocidades del soplador serán controladas manteniendo pulsadas las teclas
apareciendo en el display las siglas V1,V2,V3,V4,V5.
Función F1 - Función termómetro digital
En esta función Minicool Compact Night & Day indica en su display la temperatura interior de la ca-
bina.
Función F2 - Función Programadora de tiempo.
F2 programa al equipo para su desconexión automática en un período de entre 1 y 9 horas. Para
programar mantener pulsada la tecla On/Off hasta visualizar en el display F2, seleccionar el
tiempo de funcionamiento con las teclas y conrmar pulsando On/Off .
Al seleccionar F4 aparecerá en el display CA alternado con la temperatura seleccionada.
El usuario puede elegir la temperatura de confort de forma manual. Con esta función el equipo
regula automáticamente sus prestaciones hasta alcanzar la temperatura de confort seleccionada.
En caso de estar en marcha el motor del vehículo o poner el motor del vehículo en marcha,
el equipo pasara automáticamente a modo P4 en un breve periodo de tiempo.
NOTA:
Esta función P4 ,no es seleccionable manualmente. Es activada automáticamente por el equipo.
Estando el motor del vehículo parado esta función puede también ser activada automáticamente
por el equipo , si éste detecta que las baterías están muy cargadas. El equipo permanecerá en este
modo durante un tiempo para después pasar al modo F4 seleccionado.
La temperatura de confort se controla pulsando brevemente las teclas (15/ 27 ºC)

F5 Funcionamiento Automático del equipo, Máxima Potencia a motor
parado Tiempo máximo 60 minutos acumulables.
Al seleccionar F5 Aparece en el Display la temperatura seleccionada.
El usuario puede elegir la temperatura de confort de forma manual. Con esta función el equipo
regula automáticamente sus prestaciones hasta alcanzar la temperatura de confort seleccionada.
Se establece por defecto una duración de 30 minutos al activar esta función.
El usuario dispondrá de 60 minutos si, una vez activada la función F5, pulsa la tecla .

Mando a distancia
Funciones del Mando a distancia:
Encendido / Apagado del equipo (On/ Off).
Nota: Al pulsar este botón el equipo se enciende en modo
automático F4 / P4
Control de las velocidades del soplador (sólo modo manual)
Nota: estando encendido el equipo en modo automático
F4 / P4, si el usuario actúa sobre esta tecla, el equipo pasa a
modo manual F0 / P0. De este modo el usuario podrá elegir el
ujo de aire deseado pulsando sobre esta tecla, apareciendo en en el display
las siglas V1,V2,V3, V4,V5, V4,V3,V2, u1
Control de temperatura.
La temperatura de confort se controla pulsando brevemente las
teclas + / - (15 /27 ºC)
Dar de alta el mando a distancia:
Para dar de alta el mando a distancia, con el equipo apagado mantener pulsada la tecla del
panel de control. Aparecerá en el display C parpadeando. Cuando quede jo, pulsar la tecla
On/Off del mando antes de 30 seg. y equipo emitirá una señal acústica de conrmación. En caso
de que esto no suceda, repetir la operación completa.

Minicool Compact Night & Day is a standalone A/C System suitable for use with the
engine Off and engine On ( Night and Day use)
Minicool Compact Night & Day guarantees the climatic comfort in the vehicle´s cab
during the resting periods of the driver, loading and unloading operations as well as
while driving.
Minicool Compact Night & Day is designed with the latest technology to obtain maxi-
mum performance, a reduction in fuel costs and CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.
These features are what make it unique in the automobile air-conditioning market.
The only maintenance required is occasional cleaning of the condenser at least once
per year (1).

1.- On/off: Switching the unit On - Off and mode selection F4/ F0/ F5/ F1/ F2

speed (between 1st and 5th speed) manual mode only.

Control Panel
Special display messages (please see failure Diagnosis):
: “Technical Control” Battery low (will bleep for 30 secs. and the unit will turn off)
EO: Poor contact of the sensor recirculation wires or the sensor is damaged.
E6: Poor contact of the anti-ice sensor or the sensor is damaged.
NP: F5 can not be selected after the pre-selected time of 30 minutes or 1 hour has elapsed.
(This F5 function can only be re-activated if, keeping the unit working in mode P0 or P4, the engine
of the vehicle is running uninterruptedly during among 20 minutes -depending of the charge
or degradation level of the batteries-)
• On connection, the equipment checks the leds and -2 appears on the screen and turns off.

Turning the Equipment On
To turn the Minicool Compact Night & Day unit on, press the On/ Off key . The unit will
always start up on the F4 Function (Automatic Function).
To change the function, hold down the On/ Off key . The different functions will be displayed,
release the key on obtaining the desired function.

Function F0 Manual Operation of the equipment, at intermediate power.
P0 Manual Operation , Maximum power.
F0; the user can choose the comfort temperature and change the speed of the unit blower manua-
lly. If the engine is running or the engine starts running, the unit will automatically change
onto the P0 mode within a short period of time.
NOTE:
This P0, function cannot be selected manually . It is activated automatically by the unit.
When the motor is stopped, this function can also be activated automatically by the unit, if the
unit detects that the batteries are fully charged. The unit will remain in this mode for a while and
then it will change onto the selected F0 mode.
The comfort temperature is controlled by briey pressing the keys (15/ 27 ºC)
Blower speeds are controlled by holding down the keys, the following symbols will
appear on the display: V1,V2,V3,V4,V5.
Function F1 - Digital thermometer function .
In this function, the Minicool Minicool Compact Night & Day will indicate on the screen the tempera-
ture inside the cabin.
Function F2 - Time Programming Function.
F2 programmes the unit to disconnect automatically during a period of time between 1 and 9
hours. To programme it, keep the On/ Off key pressed until F2 appears on the screen, select
the operating time with the keys and conrm by pressing On/ Off .

Function F4 Automatic Operation of the Unit, at intermediat power
p4 Automatic Operation of the unit at maximum power
When selecting F4 , the symbol CA will appear on the display alternating between the selected
temperatures.
The user can choose the comfort temperature manually. With this function, the unit regulates au-
tomatically its performance parameters until the chosen comfort temperature is achieved. If the
engine is running or the engine starts running, the unit will automatically change onto the
P4 mode within a short period of time.
NOTE:
This P4 , function cannot be selected manually. It is activated automatically by the unit.
When the motor is stopped, this function can also be activated automatically by the unit, if the
unit detects that the batteries are fully charged. The unit will remain in this mode for a while and
then it will change onto the selected F4 mode.
The comfort temperature is controlled by briey pressing the keys (15/ 27 ºC)

F5 Automatic Operation of the unit, maximum power with the engine
stopped. Maximum time, 60 minutes (accumulative)
When selecting F5 the selected comfort temperature appears on the Display.
The user can choose the comfort temperature manually. With this function, the unit regulates au-
tomatically its performance parameters until the chosen comfort temperature is achieved.
Default duration of 30 minutes is established when activating this F5 mode.
The user will have 60 minutes if, once the F5 function is enabled, the key is pressed.

Remote Control Functions:
Unit On / Off
Note: when this Key is pushed, the unit starts in
automatic mode F4 / P4
Blower speed control (manual mode only)
Note: while the unit is working in automatic mode F4 / P4, if the
user press this key, the unit will change the working mode to manual
F0 / P0. This allows the user to choose the desired air ow by
pushing this key and the following symbols will appear on the
display: V1,V2,V3,V4,V5,V4,V3,V2, V1.

To release the remote control:
To release the remote control; with the unit stopped, keep pushed the key from the control
panel. The symbol C
C
will appear blinking in the display. When this symbol stops blinking, push
the On/ Off key before 30 seconds and the unit will emit an acoustic signal. In case this does not
happen, this operation will need to be repeated from the beginning.
