Important Safety Instructions, please Read Carefully!
•This unit is meant to receive digital
broadcasting in DVB-T format.
Using it in any other way you risk electric
shock. This device may not be used
differently from the instructions in this
manual.
•Never attempt to open the housings of your
DVB-T television or to service the product
beyond that described in this manual. All
servicing or repair must be referred to
qualified service personnel authorised by us.
•To avoid the risk of electric shock never
use the product in humid areas or near water
- e.g. near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen
sink, in a wet basement or near a swimming
pool, or the like.
•This unit is intended for exclusive use with
the mains adaptor supplied, mains voltage of
AC230V~/50 Hz, or with the built-in
rechargeable battery. Never try to use any
other voltage supply.
•We wish to clearly bring to your notice, that
the television should only be placed in
the rear seats of a motor vehicle and
earphones or headphones must be used
in order to not distract the driver. In case of
an accident of the vehicle, the device
should not pose as a threat to the
occupants!
•If objects have fallen inside or liquid has
been spilt onto the product disconnect the
adaptor plug from the mains immediately
and consult qualified service personnel.
•Never let children play with the unit or stick
anything into it. Otherwise the child faces the
risk of electric shock.
•Do not place the unit near strong magnetic
fields, water or heat. It should not be
exposed to direct sunlight for a longer period.
Avoid places with strong formation of dust
or bad ventilation. Do not expose the device
to mechanical vibrations or impacts.
•Do not operate the device on a bed or on the
sofa, so that the cushions do not block the
vents for ventilation. This could overheat and
ignite the easily combustible materials.
•Mains adaptors don’t have an on/off switch.
So disconnect the adaptor from the mains
when the unit is not in use.
•Never touch a power cable or a power
adaptor with damp or wet hands! Never use a
damaged power cable! It can cause an
electric shock.
•After disconnection from the mains you can
use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing.
Don’t use strong cleansing products.

What is the function of this device?
Your DVB-T350 receives digital terrestrial TV- and Radio-programs. Contrary to analog
TV-reception, digital TV facilitates a higher quality of reception without disturbances through
interferences in the image display. This results in a noticeably higher image- and sound
quality. Owing to the small size of the unit, you can now everywhere enjoy the benefits of
DVB-T television, as well while travelling in a motor vehicle (up to 70 km/h), or while
camping etc. With the cable enclosed, you can also watch the program on TV devices or a
computer with A/V input. In case you are tuning in for the first time, you will be assisted by a
wizard which enables an absolutely easy channel search.
Before You Switch ON
Using the Remote Control Handset
1. The remote control uses a pre-installed NiMH type battery. To prevent an anticipated
discharge of the battery, we’ve inserted an insulating strip. Please pull it out prior to first
operation.
Should the r/c start to work unreliably replace the battery with a new one of the same
type. Open the battery compartment. Push the retention clip in the direction of arrow and
pull out the battery mounting.
2. Before you take out the empty battery, please memorise its
position. The “+” marking must show upwards, otherwise the
r/c will not work and may be damaged.
3. Please point the r/c towards the main unit when operating its buttons.
The r/c works properly in a distance below 6m and in an angle of up to 30° of the front of
the unit. No obstacles may stand in the way between r/c and infrared sensor.
ØBatteries should not be disposed by ordinary refuse disposal. Please lead empty
batteries towards appropriate collecting points. Never throw batteries into fire.
ØIf you won’t use the r/c for some time, please remove the battery from the compartment,
to prevent damage by leakage.
Tip: The steps described here for usage mainly refer to the use of a
remote control. Buttons on the device with the same or similar
names have the same function as in the remote control.

The Remote Control (R/C)
1. POWER - To switch-on/off the device
2. NTSC/PAL - Changes the colour system (PAL/NTSC)
3. Numeric buttons - To change the program and to enter the
numbers in the screen menu
4. 5- To move the selection bar in the menu upwards

Connect the device
Operating voltage
In stationary mode, please use the device exclusively with the enclosed mains adaptor.
Place the adaptor in a well-connected 230 V household power socket. Connect the
cable of the mains adaptor and the DC IN 5V socket on the left hand side of the device.
The device is now ready to operate.
Headphone mode
You can connect an earphone or headphone to a headphone socket. The built-in
loudspeaker is then switched off. Be careful of the sound. Increased sound levels
in ear or headphone can cause lasting and permanent damage to your ear.
A/V Input/Output
Although your DVB-T350 has a screen, the received DVB-T program can also be
reproduced through an external TV device. For this connect the video output (VIDEO
OUT) as well as audio output on the left hand side of the device through the enclosed
audio/video cable with the video or audio input of the TV device.
Alternatively of course, you can also let the sound be reproduced from a stereo
amplifier.

To operate
Switching on/ off
ØMove the on/off switch to the right on the device in the ON
position in order to switch on the device. The following
message appears when it is operated for the first time, in
order to help you with the program search and the basic
settings of the device:
We advise you to press the ENTER button now.
Tip:
Here also, just as in other device menus, the selected option is marked yellow. You can
select this using the ENTER-button. With 3456 buttons you can select the other
button(s). With the button you can go one level up or down in the menu.
ØFinally select the country in which you are running the device
with the 34 buttons. The device then selects the language of
the menu accordingly. With the 6button you can switch to
the following menu item and can select another language for
the menu, using the34 buttons. In the line below , the “time
zone” of the selected country is displayed. Under “Antenna
power” you can select whether you want to use a passive
antenna (without the given booster, like the one enclosed =
OFF) or an active antenna (ON) on the device. Then select
“PREV” and press ENTER.
ØThe device now for security asks if you want to start the
automatic program search. Press the ENTER button and the
search starts.
ØAll receivable programs are now saved sequentially. Thereby
the device continuously provides you information on the
progress of the program search. After the end of the search
the program last found is displayed.
Important information:
- Do not disconnect the device from the antenna during this process, or else the
programs set on the device can get deleted. In such case you have to start the
program search afresh. (open the Main menu > Program Search).
- Do not change the “Regional Setting” after the program search has been completed.
Otherwise the station numbering might be disturbed. If that happens, please return to
the previous “Regional Setting” to solve the problem.
ØPress the POWER button of the remote control or push the on /off button on the device in
the OFF position when you want to switch off the device. You can switch on the device once
again by pushing the on /off button towards right in the ON position or by pressing the
POWER button of the remote control.

DVB-T Running the program search
If since the first start-up of the device other DVB-T programs have started providing
service in your neighbourhood, then you might want run a new search for all the
programs that can be received. This is also necessary if you want to run the device in
another country, for e.g. during a vacation - provided that, DVB-T is also relayed in that
country. For this open the Main Menu > Program Search and select “Automatic” or
“Manual” Search. When you confirm the following dialogue, all receivable programs are
searched and saved in the program space. The previous program list will be replaced.
Volume regulation, Muting
We have equipped the device with a volume control. Press the VOL+ button to increase
the volume level. Press the VOL- button to decrease the volume level.
Press the MUTE button to switch of the volume. A “MUTE” appears on the screen. Press
the button once again to restore the volume.
Changing the program
You can sequentially select the saved programs with the CHANNEL + /—buttons
You can also press the EPG button to show the
TV-program list and with 56 buttons can select
the desired program. At any time, on your right
you can see a preview window with the current
program of the selected channel. When you have
found the desired channel, press the ENTER button
to see the program as a full screen picture.
When you know on which program space the desired program is saved, then you can
very easily press the respective numerical buttons of the remote control to change the
program.
When you press the button you can switch over in each case to the last selected
program.
No matter how you select the sender, after every change, for a few seconds on the
lower border of the screen, a bar appears which displays the important program
information: program space no., program name and tone mode:
