These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in
a typical medical installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may
cause harmful interference to other devices in the vicinity. However, there is no guarantee
that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to other devices, which can be determined by turning the equipment
off and on, the user is encourage trying to correct the interference by one or more of the
following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving device.
- Increase the separation between the equipment.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the other
device(s) are connected.
- Consult that manufacturer or field service technician for help.

1.1 Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug. If it is not working
properly, has been dropped, damaged or has fallen into water, please contact
appropriate service center for examination and repair.
1.2 Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. All electrical products generate heat. To
avoid serious burns, NEVER touch suction motor during or immediately after
operation. The temperature to compressor motor can be reached 120°C.
1.3 Do not block the air outlet of the motor or place it on a soft surface that may block its
opening. The exhaust vent is for motor ventilation inside the housing. Make sure the
exhaust vent of the motor is free of lint, dust and other debris.

Blocking air outlet can cause the product to overheat and fire.
1.4 Never drop or insert fingers or any other object into any openings. It may get caught
on the rotating parts and cause damage or injury to the equipment.
1.5 Use only in well ventilated areas. All motor of products have a built in cooling fan, but
if not ventilated, it may cause overheating.

Do not operate the pumps in an atmosphere containing flammable
or explosive gases/vapors.
1.6 Before using the equipment. Check that the oil-free compressor and discharge are
correct.
1.7 Protect from contaminants and moisture when not using the equipment for a long
period of time. Parts exposed to moisture may rust it left unused for a long time.

1.8 Electrical shock hazard
If done incorrectly, attempting to disassemble or repair, there is a risk of electric shock.
Contact service only by a qualified service organization.
(1) It must be connected to the correct earth contact type socket on this product.
(2) Install the system where it will not come in contact with water or other liquids.
(3) Install the system in a place protected from rainy weather or weather.
(4) Electrically ground the system. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death,
fire, or electric shock.
1.9 Do not use this product in or near area where it can fall or be pulled into water or other
liquids. If moisture enters the motor, it may cause malfunction of the motor

cause a short circuit which may result in an electric shock.
1.11 Never operate this product outdoors in the rain or in a wet area. All electrical products

2.1 Introduction
This manual has been complied not only for the care and maintenance of DMEGA
suction system now in your possession, but as a helpful reference and guide to prevent
many problems which can occur if used improperly.
2.2 Intended Use:
This product generates compressed air and supplies it directly to the dental unit chair,
or to provide compressed air for use with medical devices such as pneumatically
operated hand-pieces.
2.3 Unpacking
Carefully remove the machine from the shipping case. Preserve all paper work for
future reference. If damage has occurred from shipment a Claim must be filed with the
carrier immediately; preserve the shipping carton for inspection by the carrier. If you are
required to communicate with your dealer or DMEGA, be sure to include your order
numbers for quick identification.
2.4 Mounting
Rubber feet are attached to the product. Rubber feet are excellent for applications
involving a semi-flexible surface such as bench top; they help to isolate noise and
eliminate creeping. However, the horizontal position of the motor shaft should be
preferred.
2.5 Installation Location
The compressor system should be located preferably in a clean, dry and well-ventilated
area. Please be sure not to block the ventilation ports located on the motor housing.
The unit should be placed where the surrounding temperature remains between 10°C
and 40°C (50°F and 104°F). Always check to insure the location chose is protected
from direct or indirect moisture contact.

2.6 Environmental Conditions for normal operation
- Temperature: 10°C ~35°C
- Humidity: 30% to 80% R.H.
- Atmospheric pressure: 700 to 1,060 hPa
2.7 Transport and storage conditions
The compressor is packed in a special transport carton for shipping. This serves to
protect the appliance from damage during transport.
Be sure to set the compressor in an upright position during transport.
Protect the compressor during transport and storage from humidity, dirt and extremes
of temperature. Compressors which are still in their original packing can be safely
stored in warm, dry and dust-free rooms.
- Temperature: 0 to 50 ºC
- Relative Humidity: 25 to 80 % R.H.
- Atmospheric Pressure: 700 to 1,060 hPa

The compressor may only be transported when no pressure is present.
Before transport the pressure tank and the pressure hose must be vented thoroughly.

3.1 Preparation for operation
(1) Check user voltage and hertz before operating equipment.
(2) Check if there is any foreign material in the cooling fan part of the motor.
(3) Connect the air supply hose to the air supply valve.
(Make sure that the pressure gauge is in position "0" because power is not applied.)
(4) Connect the hose to the drain valve and place it in the sewer.
(5) Plug the power cord into a wall outlet that meets your requirements.
(6) Plug the power cord into a suitable outlet and turn the red pressure switch to the
right to activate the equipment.
3.2 Test run of machine
(1) Turn the operation handle of pressure controlled switch to “AUTO” and the machine
will start immediately.
(2) The reading of barometer will slowly rise with increasing pressure inside the air tank.
When the reading of barometer reaches 8 bar, pressure controlled switch activates,
the power supper is cut off, machine stops running.
(3) At the same time the load-releasing valve of pressure controlled switch activates to
lower high pressure in the cylinder of compression machine so that the machine
can be started again; during the period when the machine stops running observe if
the reading of barometer is decreasing. If there is no leakage of air in the machine,
open air supply valve to begin supply of compressed air. When the pressure in the
air tank decreases to 5bar, pressure controlled switch resets and power supply
resumes, the machine starts running again.
(4) The pressure in air tank increases again. If the machine can automatically stop and
start the machine works normally.
(5) Check for abnormal noise or vibration in the compressor system. In this case, see
the troubleshooting guide in this manual. After removing the cause of the noise and
vibration, restart the system.
3.3 Operation
(1) To operate the machine correctly and safely read carefully this instruction.
(2) Insert the plug of the machine in power socket of single phase 10A.
Open air supply valve, turn the operation handle for pressure controlled switch to
“AUTO” position, the machine will run in a normal condition.
