Cooking Stove General Features
Read this manual completely before installing the cooking stove. It is important to fully respect the
installation instructions. If the cooking stove is not correctly installed, it could result in a fire, body
injuries or even death.
The information listed on the cooking stove name plate always takes precedence on the information
found in any other published media (manuals, catalogs, flyers, magazines and web sites).
It is recommended to communicate with the municipal building department or municipal fire department
in your area before the installation of the cooking stove and its chimney since a permit could be
required.
The installation of this cooking stove should be done by professionals certified,in the United States by
the NFI (National Fireplace Institute) or in Canada by WETT (Wood Energy Technology Transfer) or in
the province of Quebec by the APC (Association des professionnels du chauffage).
Mixing components from various sources or modify elements of the cooking stove can create some
dangerous situations. Any modifications of the cooking stove that has not been approved in writing
by the approval authority of the manufacturer, violates the standards CSA B365 (Canada) and NFPA
211 (USA).
DO NOT CONNECT TO A SYSTEM OR TO AN AIR DISTRIBUTION DUCT UNLESS IT IS
SPECIFICALLY APPROVED FOR SUCH INSTALLATION.
THIS COOKING STOVE IS NOT APPROVED FOR AN INSTALLATION IN A MOBILE HOME
NEITHER FOR AN INSTALLATION IN AN ALCOVE.
