Product Overview
Appearance
The following photo illustrates the appearance of a GIP300/GIP300P IP phone.
Keypad
GIP300/GIP300P IP Phone has a 30-button keypad.
Buttons Definitions and Functions
0~9 Digits input
* “*” is used as “.” when making a Direct IP call.
“**” is used as “@”.
# 1. End dialing when you dial the number
2. Confirm and save when setting the fast dial.
UP/VOL+
1. Increase Ring Volume in the IDLE Mode.
2. Increase Handset/Speakerphone Volume in the
conversation.
3. Previous Menu Item in the keypad configure mode.

DOWN/VOL- 1. Reduce Ring Volume in the IDLE Mode.
2. Reduce Handset/Speakerphone Volume in the
conversation.
3. Next Menu Item in the keypad configure mode.
MENU/SET
(M8) 1. Enter Menu Mode when the phone is in IDLE Mode.
2. Enter submenu.
3. Confirm and save once entering Menu.
4. As the eighth fast dial button when M8 work with Fn.
HOLD Hold the active call, you will hear the dialing tone, at the
same time you can invite a new call.
TRANSFER Transfer the active call to another party.
CONFERENCE Enter 3-way conferencing call.
FLASH 1. Switch between Line1 and Line2
2. Receive another call.
RD/BACK 1. Send the number and begin to make a call when end
dialing.
2. As Re-dial button when the phone is off-hook.
HF As switching button between Hands-free and Hook Mode.
The indicator light beside the button is always red when you
use the Hands-free Mode.
SYS/MUTE/DEL
(M5)1. Browse the System Status like IP address, Gateway IP,
Phone number in the IDLE Mode.
2. Delete button in the Keypad Configure Mode.
3. Mute button when making a call.
4. As the fifth fast dial button when M5 work with Fn.
MESSAGE/REC 1.Enter Voice Mail sub-Menu when you off hook.(You need
to enable the MWI in the web.)
2.Record when making a call and end recording when
pressing the button again.

IN
(M6) 1. Browse the last 10 Incoming Call when the phone is
on-hook.
2. Browse the last 10 Incoming Call Records when the phone
is Off-hook and make the current call when pressing the
“RD/BACK” button.
3. As the sixth fast dial button when M6 work with Fn.
OUT
(M7) 1. Browse the last 10 Outgoing Call when the phone is
on-hook.
2. Browse the last 10 Outgoing Call Records when the phone
is Off-hook and and make the current call when pressing
the “RD/BACK” button.
3. As the seventh fast dial button when M7 work with Fn.
Fn Fast dial precursor button, you should see the fast dial
definition.
LINE1/M1
1. Switch to the first line when dialing the number.
2. As the first fast dial button when M1 work with Fn.
LINE2/M2
1. Switch to the second line when dialing the number.
2. As the second fast dial button when M2 work with Fn.
LINE3/M3 As the third fast dial button when M3 work with Fn.
LINE4/M4 As the fourth fast dial button when M4 work with Fn.

Icon Definitions
The Icon display Register and Network
Status.
1-7 scales to show Network Status based on
actual status. ON if SIP server is located,
otherwise display none.
ON when the Line 1 is used.
ON when the Line 2 is used.
Show Handset and Speakerphone Volume
when the phone is Off-hook.
Show Ring Volume when the phone is
On-hook..
1-7 scales to adjust volume.
Mic Mute Icon:
ON if mute an active call while in
conversation.

Missed Call Icon:
ON if Phone has missed call and not be read
when the phone is On-hook or browse the
incoming call records.
Call Transfer Icon:
ON if enable Call Transfer Unconditionally
or Transfer when busy.
IN and OUT Icon:
ON “IN” or “OUT” when browse the
incoming or outgoing call records.
Three uses for this Icon:
1.Show current time with when the
phone is On-hook.
2.Show Call Logs with when browse
the call records.
3.Show Menu Items when enter Menu
Mode.
AM. or PM. Icon:
Indicate that either Signal or RTP was
encrypted, or both
Message Status Icon:
ON if phone has new message.
LAN Icon:
ON if LAN has linked.
WAN Icon:
ON if WAN has linked.
Day indication
Indicate that Phone has connected to Central
Manager Software
Indicate the current WAN port IP mode
