Talking
precision
scale speaks
your weight

Dear Customer
Thank you for purchasing the Talking Bathroom Scale.
This precision Talking Bathroom Scale features a large, easy-to-read LCD screen, advanced
gauge technology and voice announcement to speak the weight in kg or lbs. No need to fumble
around for your glasses to read the results. With auto on/off, this stable 33x30cm, 6mm thick
tempered glass scale has a weight capacity 150Kg/330lbs. Uses 3xAAA batteries.
TO USE
Place on a hard at surface, do not use on carpet as this might give an inaccurate reading. Stand on the
platform of the scale and the display will light and show “0.0”. Wait a couple of seconds and remain as still
as possible. When the weight stabilises, it will be displayed on the screen and announced.
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to change the measuring units from metric to imperial or vice versa (i.e.
kilograms to pounds) see the UNIT CONVERSION section opposite.

OPERATION
Should the LCD light start to dull or stay lit for shorter amounts of time, we recommend that the
batteries be replaced in the following way:
1. INSERTING BATTERIES:
3xAAA batteries into the battery compartment on the bottom (underside) of the scale. Be sure
the polarity (+ / -) is correct when installing batteries.
2. TAKING MEASUREMENT:
a. Step onto the measurement platform and wait a few moments.
b. Once the scale is stable, it will show “0.0”. Your weight will be displayed and ‘spoken’ once
the reading is steady.
c. You may step off of the platform and the reading will hold for 10 secs.
d. If ‘Err’ shows on the LCD display this indicates overload.
3. POWER OFF:
The power will shut down automatically after no operation is detected for about 10 seconds
and the scale will announce ‘Goodbye’.
4. UNIT CONVERSION:
Turn the Scale ON, “0.0” will show on the display. Press the kg/lbs button on the under side of
the scale (under the display housing) to select the desired unit.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the batteries are drained, the following message is displayed “LO”.
If nothing is displayed, the batteries may be completely drained. In this case try them on another
device. Replace them if they no longer work.
Only ever replace the batteries with the equivalent AAA battery used for weighing.
PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT throw away worn out batteries. Place them in a container intended
for this purpose so that they can be collected and recycled.
