INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Please read prior to use
Introduction
The Laminator can be used to protect and enhance papers and pictures.
Lamination preserves and protects valuable documents and allows easy cleaning.
In order to do this the Laminator contains moving parts that are not accessible during
normal use. However, the Laminator should ALWAYS be unplugged when not in use to
ensure that it does not become a potential hazard to children and pets.
Safety First
1. Do not place fingers, hair, loose clothing and jewelry near the paper feed slot as
serious injury may occur.
2. The top of the laminator will become hot during use please do not touch.
3. Please keep the machine away from children or pets.
4. Make sure the cold/off/hot switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the
laminator.
5. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product.
6. Please note cardboard carrier pouches must not be used with this laminator as it may
cause jamming or damage to the laminator
7. Unplug the laminator when not in use or before moving or cleaning.
8. Only clean the Laminator by wiping with a dry cloth.
9. Do not place the machine near to any heat source or in a damp environment.
10. If the power supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by a qualified electrician in
order to avoid a hazard.
11. The objects to be laminated cannot be metal or plastic objects (iron copper aluminum
etc).
12. Please do not insert anything into the machine other than laminating films and
suggested items. The machine is only to be used for laminating.
13. Never remove the cover or dismantle the machine, no serviceable parts inside.
OPERATION
This laminator is operated by switch (cold/off/hot) located at the right side of the appliance.
1. Plug the machine into a suitable power supply outlet.
2. For cold lamination, Switch to Cold (︳)position to connect the power and start with cold
lamination, the power Red LED and ready Green LED all will light up, the power is on and ready for
cold lamination;
For hot lamination, switch to Hot (‖)position, the LED will light up Red, the machine will start to
heat up. After 3-5 minutes, the Green READY LED will illuminate when the machine has reached
the correct operating temperature. The machine is ready to laminate.

3. Prepare the laminating pouch for inserting into the machine. Load the paper centrally into the
pouch alongside the pre-sealed edge. Do not use pouches thicker than 200 (2x100micro per side)

4. When the machine has reached operating temperature, the pouch can be inserted into the
machine until it engages with the rollers. Never insert a pouch open edge first into the
machine.
5. The pouch will move through the machine and exit at the rear.
6. Turn the laminator OFF (O) after use.
7. Remove the plug from the power supply.

Care and Cleaning
Since deposits of residue will influence the effectiveness of laminating, please clean the
rollers periodically after use in the hot mode by inserting an A4 piece of paper into the
entrance of the laminator.Any residues will come out on the paper. Repeat this process
several times to clean the rollers.
Remarks
Do not insert the open side of the pouch into the laminator.
Troubleshooting
⚫If the jammed paper will not reverse out, unplug the Laminator and press “ABS jam”
gently to put the paper out.
If the paper laminator cannot be started normally, please check the following items
first.
⚫Ensure the machine is plugged in and switched on and that the fuse in the plug is
working correctly.
⚫Ensure the machine is not jammed with paper.
⚫Allow the Laminator to cool down for 40 minutes if the motor has overheated and the

thermal cutout device has tripped. The Laminator should automatically start working
again.
Instructions for Use of Laminating Sheets
When using laminating sheets its very important to place the paper you want to laminate
at the top of the sheet, in to the sealed edge of the pouch, in the middle. This is for any
size sheet you at using.
