Model: E145S Fireplace Mantle
For use with E145R – 2KW Electric Fire

SECTION 2 ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

2.1 Unpack
Open the package carefully and remove the mantel . Carefully inspect for any damage
before you begin assembly.
Ensure you have all the parts listed opposite before assembling
Retain packaging for future transport and/or storage
Please follow all steps carefully.

2.2 Before Installation
Tools required: Magnetic Phillips screwdriver
2.3 Installation
NOTE!
Assembly required by two adults.
This fireplace suite must be fitted to the wall. For directions on how to do so, please
follow the instructions located in the fire. Do not use any silicon-based sealant.
To avoid over tightening, do not use an electric screwdriver.
Use washers when fixing with screws. Do not over tighten bolts.
Only use the screws supplied with this mantel.
NOTE: Follow these instructions before fitting the fire to the wall.
Remove the fire and mantle from all packaging and
carefully inspect for any damage before installing.
1. Place the fire on its back and remove
the front bottom screw on both sides of
the fire. Keep both screws aside for
later as these will be used for the top
brackets.

2. Take 1x glass panel and 2x
rubber U channel pieces and
place one rubber U channel piece
over each short edge of the glass.
3. Take 1x glass retaining bracket and
slot over the rubber U channel.
Once this is done place the fire on its
side and attach the glass retaining
bracket towards the top of the fire first
sing 2x ST4*8 screws.
4. Take the second glass retaining
bracket and attach to the bottom of
the fire. Please repeat steps 2-4 for
the opposite side.
5. Remove the 2 screws holding
the LED cover plate and put the
plate aside. pull the LED cable out
then replace the cover with the
LED protruding thought the half
circle gap.
6.Lay the fire flat on its back and
slide the mantle over the top
7. Take the screws removed in step 1
and use these to attach the top
brackets to the fire as shown in the
picture opposite.
8. Holding the back of the fire, tilt
the mantle up onto its top, and
connect the LED cable from the fire
to the LED cable on the mantle
9. Using the M5X30mm screws and
washers, attach the base of the fire to
the mantle as shown. There are 4 holes
in total. Once this is done, please follow
the steps located inside the fire manual
to attach fire to the wall.
Your mantle surface coating will give off a slight odour for a brief initial period. Try to
ventilate as much as possible during this time.
Daily cleaning:
Clean the mantel surfaces with a soft, lint-free
cloth.
Do not use cleaning or polishing products
Avoid
Long-term direct sunlight.
Excessive temperatures and humidity to protect the life of your
furniture surface
Do not put heavy or sharp objects on this mantel
