Follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock and injury to persons.
Do not dismantle the housing or modify the module to avoid electrical shock or burn.
Using supplies or parts not meeting the products’ specifications may cause damage, deterioration or
malfunction.
Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture or install this product near water.
Install the device in a place with fine ventilation.
Do not twist or pull by force ends of the optical cable. It can cause malfunction.
Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean this unit. Always unplug the power to the device before
cleaning.
Unplug the power cord when left unused for a long period of time.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.

We provide limited warranty for the product within three years counting from the first day you buy this
product (The purchase invoice shall prevail).
Introduction
The CE-CVAD is a small-size HDMI2.0 audio de-embedder with 1 HDMI input, 1 HDMI output, and three
kinds of audio outputs. It is designed to extract audio from 4K HDMI signal via stereo balanced L/R
audio, analog RCA, and coaxial digital audio output ports.
It supports 4K@60Hz/4:4:4 HDR, EDID & CEC pass-through, and the transmission rate is up to 18Gbps.
Moreover, there are three audio modes can be chosen in order to be compatible with various audio
processing device.

Features
Supports stereo balanced L/R audio, analog RCA, and coaxial digital audio output ports.
Supports three audio modes：PASS, BITSTREAM, and PCM.
HDMI input supports HDCP2.2, and the output supports HDCP1.4.
Supports HDMI2.0 4K@60Hz/4:4:4 HDR, EDID & CEC pass-through.
The transmission rate is up to 18Gbps.
Coax digital audio supports LPCM 2CH, Dolby Digital 2/5.1CH, DTS 2/5.1CH
Supports HDMI High Bit Rate(HBR) audio pass through

Panel Description
①Bicolor LED: RED when powered on, GREEN when HDMI signal input.
②Audio Modes Switcher:
PASS (default): The source device obtains its EDID from display.
BITSTREAM: Set the audio block of the display EDID to DTS/Dolby with built-in multi-channel
EDID data of the CE-CVAD. Ensures the source output DTS/Dolby audio when the display only
supports PCM audio.
PCM: Set the audio block of the display EDID to PCM with built-in PCM EDID data of the CE-
CVAD. Ensures the compatibility of the analog output.
③HDMI IN: Connect with HDMI source.
④FW: Firmware upgrade.
⑤DC 12V: Connect with the included power adaptor.
⑥HDMI OUT: Connect with HDMI display.
⑦L/R: Stereo balanced L/R audio output.
⑧L/R: analog RCA audio output.
⑨COAX: Coaxial digital audio output.
