Every new Field e-bicycle comes with our warranty. Once your Field e-Bike

is registered with Field e-Bicycle Incorporated, we provide each original retail

purchaser a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, as stated

below:00

This warranty applies to 2014 and newer model bicycles. Any other original

part or component shall be covered by the stated warranty of the original

manufacturer. Any products not specically included above are hereby

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

Normal wear and tear

Improper assembly

Improper follow-up maintenance

Installaon of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended

for or compable with the bicycle as sold

Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect

Damages resulng from failure to follow Instrucons for Use and Warn-

ings as provided in the Owner’s Manual for the e-Bicycle

Damages resulng from improper charging of the baery pack or use of

any charger not supplied by Field e-Bicycles Incorporated

Labor charges for part replacement or changeover

This warranty is void in its enrety by any modicaon of the frame, fork, or

components. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of

a defecve item, and said repair or replacement is the sole remedy of the war-

ranty. This warranty extends from the date of purchase, is oered only to the

original owner, and is not transferable. This warranty applies only to Field

Incorporated purchased through an authorized dealer or distributor. Field

Incorporated is not responsible for incidental or consequenal damages.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequenal damag-

es, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. Any claim against this war-

ranty must be made through an authorized dealer or distributor. Proof of pur-

chase is required. A bicycle must be registered with Field Incorporated be-

fore a warranty claim may be processed. Claims made outside the country of

purchase may be subject to fees and addional restricons. Warranty, dura-

on, and detail may dier by frame type and/or by country. This warranty

gives you specic legal rights, and those rights may vary from place to place.

This warranty does not aect your statutory rights. The English version of the

warranty shall prevail.

General maintenance

Check and lubricate the chain if dry on a regular basis. A dry lube is pre-

ferred. Do not spray lubricaon in hubs, near bakes or other locaons.

When cleaning your electric bike, do not use a steady, direct, stream of wa-

ter from a hose. Use a wet cloth instead to avoid short circuing any electric

components. Your electric bike has a durable nish and does not need to be

waxed. Simply clean with mild detergent and bu to restore its original

shine.

The standard 120V wall outlet in most homes is sucient power to charge

the baery.

The light on the baery charger will appear RED to show that is not full.

A full recharge typically takes 3-4 hours. When the baery is full, the light

will change from red to GREEN. You can connue to charge for 1 – 2 more

hours aer it turns green.

Unplug the power source from the baery and then from the electrical

outlet. Store the charger in a cool, dry place.

NOTE: Aer the light turns green, the charger is in “trickle charge.” This

means that if plugged in, it will connue to charge slowly and maintain the

charge. For safety and long baery life, unplug the baery once charged.

Using your power source incorrectly or leaving the charger connected to the

baery when charging, the charger will become warm. Be sure to keep the

charger away from any ammable objects. On a normal charge cycle, the

charger may reach temperatures up to 185°F (85°C).

Precauons while charging:

ALWAYS use the charger according to the instrucons

DO NOT use any charger other than the one that came with your e-bike. If

you need a replacement, please contact Customer Service

DO NOT aempt to open or repair your charger or baery if it is malfunc-

oning

Wheels

Wheels should be centered in the fork or dropouts. If you hear any ir-

regular noises from the wheels or brakes, the wheels should be checked and

repaired. The wheels should rotate smoothly without wobbling from side to

side.

Check the bearing play of the hubs by liing the bicycle and spinning

the wheel; it should connue to spin for several turns aer you remove your

hand. To check the play of the hubs, try to move the wheel from side to side

between the forks. If you detect any substanal movement, or if the wheel

is dicult to turn, the bearings must be adjusted or replaced. Please contact

a local bicycle dealer to have the hub bearings adjusted.

Tires

It is recommended that your re pressure is at least 10 psi. Before every

ride, make sure that the res are inated according to the pressure on the

sidewall.

Congratulations!

You are now the proud owner of a Field Electric Bicycle!

Your electric bicycle is like any other bike, but with electric pedal assis-

tance. The same precauonary steps while biking should be taken to prevent

any accidents or injuries.

“Electric” means that your e-bike will assist you when you are pedaling if

you so choose. You may also pedal normally with no assistance at all or twist

the throle to get moving with no pedaling necessary.

The electric bicycles’ amount of assistance will depend on what level you

set it to; the speed varies from 0 to 5. The fastest speed this bicycle travels is

20-25MPH dependent on State Laws

Know your electric bicycle

If misused, the features of your electric bicycle may cause you to lose

control of the e-bike. Before riding in fast or more dicult situaons, learn

the funcon and performance of all the mechanisms of your bike by riding at

slower speeds in a at, empty space.

The maximum weight is 286lbs (130 kg).

When riding, please pay aenon to the weather and load on your bike; if any

changes are noced adjust your riding style accordingly. When it is raining or

snowing, please increase braking distance as a safety precauon.

This e-bike is not afraid of rain or snow, but it cannot be submerged in

water. When water submerges the motor it can cause a short circuit to occur

and damage the electric apparatus.

Always wear a helmet when riding as a safety measure.

Check your e-bike before riding every me

Before operang your electric bicycle, inspect it carefully to avoid acci-

dents or damage.

Check wire connecons to make sure they are ght, make sure wheels

spin freely and are not rubbing the brakes, monitor air pressure in res.

If the baery was removed, place the baery back into its locaon and

be sure to lock it and remove key. Check to see that the baery is fully

charged (baery level indicated on screen) before riding and check the air

pressure of the res (10 - 25 psi). Be sure to test the front and back brakes, as

well as the condion of the handlebars and the front and back wheels.

Make sure that everything is fastened and secure. Be sure to check that

all quick releases are locked and in good working order.

Here are a few ps to prolong the baery life under these condions:

Frequent braking/starng – try to look ahead and coast rather than stop

and go frequently.

Riding uphill/against strong winds – pedal to supplement the baery power.

When baery meter indicates low power remaining, switch to manual pow-

er and avoid using the baery.

The baery chargers contain sensive electronics. Improper use, dropping,

or sudden jolts can damage the charger and its internal electronics.

If the bicycle is being stored, remove the baery and recharge

Charging the baery

To charge, turn the bike o and insert the plug of the charger into the

charging port. This can be found on the le side of the main bike frame.

Simply remove the black rubber cover to access the power outlet. Once this

is complete, insert the charger into the electrical outlet.

WARNING

Do not attempt to access the Lithium battery in any way. Doing so may

cause chemical, electric, and/or re hazards.

WARNING

DO NOT use chargers or other components on your e-bike other than the

ones which have been approved and tested by this company.

Pedal assistance

Your pedal assist will start once you start to pedal and stop once you stop ped-

dling. You are able to adjust the amount of assistance on the LCD screen by

adjusng the + / - buon. If you do not want any assist, bring your bike to a

stop and power o the system. If the handbrakes are applied, the pedal assist

will cut automacally. You do not need to turn the power o when going

downhill.

Gearing

The gear shi is located on the right handle bar. There are 9 speeds available.

In order to shi between gears, simply pull the trigger with your index nger

to increase the gear, or press in the trigger under the handle to decrease the

gear. The downshiing trigger can be pressed in one click to downshi once,

or two clicks to downshi twice, or three clicks to downshi three mes

(inial gear being greater than 3).

Baery

The baery is a 48V / 14.5 Amp lithium ion baery. The normal lifecycle of the

baery, if connuously discharged and recharged, is about 3-8 years or 2500

recharges, aer which the storage capacity will decline.

The range in distance on a full charge is approximately 25 – 35 miles depend-

ing on your weight class and terrain. Higher weight classes and uneven surfac-

es will require more power than lighter weights and aer surfaces. This

equals to 5 – 6 hours of connuous riding, again depending on your weight

class and terrain.

Baery performance is aected by temperature, and will perform beer in

warmer temperatures. When the temperature is below 32°F (0°C), the baery

current may decrease by 1/3. Consequently, the travel range in cold environ-

ments is less than in warmer environments, but will return to normal when it

the baery returns to room temperature.

Frequent braking/starng, riding uphill/against strong winds, starng

from a standsll, or riding on rough/muddy roads will use extra power and

lower range.

Taking o

As the bike starts, accelerate slowly; do not try to get to your maximum

speed right away. When starng from an elevated path, pedal as much as

possible so that the electric power will last longer. Pedaling more than using

solely the throle will lengthen the life of the baery and motor. The hand

brake will automacally cut the power to the motor as well as release the

throle.

Safety precauons

Be sure to ride an appropriate distance away from cars, pedestrians, and

other obstacles. In addion, try to avoid potholes, drain grates, and other

imperfecons in the road which may aect your ability to ride. A bell is pro-

vided to alert others of your approach.

OBEY all trac laws relevant to the operaon of bicycles and electric bicy-

cles.

KEEP both hands on the handlebars at all mes and do NOT hang objects

from the handlebars.

RIDE predictably and in a straight line. Never ride against trac.

USE the correct hand signals when turning or stopping. If you do not know

the proper hand signals, it is important you learn them before riding on the

road.

USE extreme cauon when you are near other vehicles. Ride defensively and

assume that other people on the road do not see you, and be careful at in-

tersecons when starng from a stopped posion.

DO NOT suddenly brake in the rain or on slippery surfaces.

WEAR a helmet for your protecon and bright or reecve clothing to make

you more visible.

DO NOT wear lose clothing because it can get caught in the bicycle.

Most state and local areas have specic laws for cyclists. Please check with

your local Department of Motor Vehicles for claricaon. Again, these e-

bikes are not considered motor vehicles, but may be subject to addional

regulaon based on the state you live in. Some of the common laws include

mandatory lights and reectors on the bikes.

Wet condions

Like any other moving object, when it is wet or snowing, there is less

tracon. This applies specically to the brakes on the bike; they will not per-

form as well as they do in dry climates. Be sure to brake earlier because it

will take a longer distance to come to a full stop. Ride at a slower speed and

try to be more visible.

Low visibility

Even though your bicycle comes with headlights, rear lights, and reec-

tors, in situaons where there is low lighng it may make it dicult for peo-

ple to see you. Be sure to see and be seen in your environment. Wear reec-

ve and bright colored clothing to enhance visibility for others.

Sand/Snow/Mountain Riding

The fat re bike has the capability of ring in the sand, snow, and on a

mountain.

When riding in the sand. Keep your bike in a low gear and keep the bike

moving. This will help you oat over the sand. DO NOT take sharp turns, as

the front wheel will sink into the sand and cause you to fall o the bike.

When riding in the snow, remember that the 4” res provide grip, but

unless they are studded, ice will cause a loss of control. Watch for ice and

black ice. Similar to sand riding, the bike will be able to travel easily over

packed and powder snow. Keep in mind that fast, jerky maneuvers will

cause a loss of bike control.

Mountain

The 4” fat res give this bike incredible tracon through mud, gravel,

dirt, and rocks. However, given the increased re surface are, it is important

to avoid pointed rocks, scks, and curbs, as these will tear the re.

Switching ON/OFF

This Display control is located on the le of the handle bars.

To power on the bike, press the buon on top of the baery and then press

and hold the IEC power symbol buon. The display will light up and this

buon can be released.

The “I” symbol will aid you inscrolling through the trip distance, max speed,

average speed and general “informaon.”

When the e-bike is parked for more than 10 minutes, the display will

automacally shut down. Refrain from turning o the system while riding.

LCD Funcon SummaryThe LCD screen provides a wide range of funcons

and indicators to the t your needs. The indicated contents are as follows:

The baery bars represent the capacity of the baery. When the baery is

low the baery frame on screen will ash to nofy that it needs to be re-

charged immediately.
