Warnings
Do not add fuel when flame is lit.
Do not add fuel when stove is hot.
Do not smoke or work near flame
when adding fuel.
Keep away from children and pets.
Practice good fire safety. Have a fire
blanket and an extinguisher suitable
for liquid fires ready in case of an
accident.
Use only pure ethanol fuel
(min. 95 % pure).
Do not use fuel gel. Follow fuel
manufacturer’s safety instructions.
Beware of hot surfaces when
operating the stove.
Place on a fireproof surface.
Do not move the stove when in use.
Keep away from flammable
materials. Leave at least 1 m of free
space above the stove and 0.5 m
around it.
Do not leave a burning stove
unsupervised.
Use only in a ventilated space of
at least 50 m3.
Not suitable for continuous use.
Stove must be allowed to cool 5
minutes before refilling.
Do not use as a heater.
Do not modify the stove.
Do not attempt to open the stove.
There are no user serviceable parts
inside.
Do not operate the stove if your
mobility is impaired.
Do not heat empty or oversize pots
or pans, or use the stove inside a
small container (for example, metal
bin). Doing this may heat up the
stove and damage it.
Discoloration of cookware is normal
due to heat from open flame.

Preparations and filling the
stove
Before starting to use the stove, read the
Warnings section. Do not use the stove if
you cannot do it safely.
1. Place the stove on fireproof level
surface, for example a ceramic or metal
plate. Surface must have edges that will
collect any alcohol that may be spilled
during preparation or use. This is
especially important when using the
stove indoors.
2. Inspect the stove. Do not use if
damaged.
3. If the metal sealing cap (5) is not in
place, place it over the burner (7). It is
needed to hold the funnel and to make
sure there is no flame in the burner.
4. Remove the fuel tank cap (1).
5. Place the supplied plastic funnel on top
of the metal sealing cap (5) so that its
nozzle is over the fuel tank opening (3).

6. Fill the supplied measuring cup with
ethanol fuel.
7. Fill the tank (4) of the stove with
ethanol by pouring from the cup to the
funnel. The tank capacity is 380 ml
(12.8 fl oz).
Pour slowly, and fill only up to the
top of the white plastic part. Do not
overfill.
8. When done, remove the funnel and the
sealing cap (5).
9. Replace the fuel tank cap (1).
10. Close the ethanol bottle and move the
bottle, funnel, and measuring cup away
from the stove.
11. Check that fuel has not been spilled on
the stove or around it. Dry any spilled
fuel before igniting the stove.
12. Insert the control pin (9) to the holder
on the center tube (8).
Igniting and using the
stove
1. Adjust power to maximum by moving
the control pin (9) all the way to the
right.
2. To ignite the stove, heat the center tube
(8) with a jet lighter for 10 … 20
seconds.
If you do not have a jet lighter, you can
light the stove with matches as follows.
Drop 1-2 ml of ethanol fuel in the center
of the burner (7) using the supplied
dropper bottle, and light with a match.
The burning fuel will heat up the center
tube and ignite the stove.

3. Place pot on the pot holders and start
cooking.
4. Adjust power as necessary by moving the
control pin (9). Move left to reduce power
and right to increase power.
Extinguishing the stove
1. Adjust power to minimum.
2. Blow out the flames to extinguish.
3. Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
4. Cover the burner (7) with the sealing
cap (5).
Storage
Some fuel may remain inside the stove. Store
the stove upright and with the sealing cap on
to prevent it from leaking out. Empty the fuel
tank before transporting the stove.
Store the fuel safely according to local
regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
Cleaning the burner
Extensive use and burning impure fuel may
cause carbon deposits to form on the burner
(7). If the flame is abnormal during
operation, check that the burner is clean and
the holes on the flame pipes and the center
tube (8) are open. If the holes are blocked,
clean them using the supplied cleaning tool.
If the power control on the center tube (8)
does not move easily, apply a small amount
of spray lubricant such as WD-40 to the
spring at the top of the center tube. Do not
turn the power control with force as that may
damage the burner.

lisääminen keittimeen
Lue tämän käyttöohjeen Varoitukset-
osio ennen keittimen käyttöä. Älä käytä
keitintä jos et voi tehdä sitä turvallisesti.
1. Aseta keitin palamattomalle, tasaiselle
alustalle, esimerkiksi keraamiselle
lautaselle tai metallisen tarjottimen
päälle. Alustalla on oltava reunat jotka
estävät sille mahdollisesti valuvaa
etanolia leviämästä. Tämä on erityisen
tärkeää käytettäessä keitintä
sisätiloissa.
2. Tarkista keittimen kunto. Älä käytä
keitintä jos se on vaurioitunut.
3. Aseta metallinen suojakorkki (5)
polttimen (7) päälle, jos se ei jo ole
paikoillaan. Se toimii täyttösuppilon
pidikkeenä ja varmistaa että polttimessa
ei ole liekkiä.
4. Avaa polttoainesäiliön korkki (1).
5. Aseta keittimen mukana tullut muovinen
suppilo suojakorkin (5) päälle niin, että
sen nokka on polttoainesäiliön
täyttöaukon (3) kohdalla.

6. Täytä keittimen mukana tullut
mittakuppi etanolilla.
7. Täytä keittimen polttoainesäiliö (4)
kaatamalla etanolia mittakupilla
suppiloon. Polttoainesäiliön tilavuus on
380 ml.
Kaada hitaasti, ja täytä korkeintaan
täyttöaukossa näkyvän valkoisen
muoviosan yläreunaan asti.
Älä ylitäytä.
8. Kun säiliö on täynnä, poista suppilo ja
suojakorkki (5).
9. Laita polttoainesäiliön korkki (1)
paikoilleen.
10. Sulje etanolipullo ja siirrä sekä
etanolipullo, suppilo, että mittakuppi
pois keittimen läheltä.
11. Tarkista, ettei etanolia ole valunut
keittimen päälle tai ympärille. Kuivaa
mahdollisesti valunut etanoli ennen
polttimen sytyttämistä.
12. Aseta säätövipu (9) paikoilleen
keskiputkessa (8) olevaan pitimeen.
Polttimen sytyttäminen ja
keittimen käyttö
1. Säädä teho maksimiin siirtämällä
säätövipu (9) ääriasentoon oikealle.
2. Sytytä poltin kuumentamalla
keskiputkea (8) myrsky/jet -tyyppisellä
kaasusytyttimellä 10–20 sekuntia.

Jos sinulla ei ole sopivaa kaasusytytintä,
voit sytyttää polttimen vaikkapa
tulitikkujen avulla seuraavalla tavalla.
Tiputtele pieni määrä (1–2 ml) etanolia
polttimen (7) keskiosaan käyttäen
keittimen mukana tullutta pientä
muovipulloa. Sytytä etanoli palamaan.
Palava etanoli kuumentaa keskiputken ja
sytyttää polttimen.
3. Aseta kattila pidikkeiden (2) päälle ja
aloita keittimen käyttö.
4. Säädä keittimen lämmitystehoa tarpeen
mukaan säätövivun (9) avulla. Vivun
siirtäminen vasemmalle vähentää tehoa,
ja oikealle siirtäminen lisää sitä.
Polttimen sammutus
1. Säädä teho minimiin.
2. Sammuta polttimen liekki puhaltamalla.
3. Anna keittimen jäähtyä 5 minuuttia.
4. Peitä poltin (7) suojakorkilla (5).
Keittimen säilytys
Keittimen polttoainesäiliöön jää aina jonkin
verran polttoainetta. Säilytä keitin
pystysuorassa asennossa ja pidä suojakorkki
paikallaan, jotta polttoaine ei pääse valumaan
ulos. Tyhjennä keittimen polttiainesäiliö
ennen keittimen kuljetusta.
Säilytä polttoaine paikallisten säädösten ja
valmistajan ohjeiden mukaisesti.
