IMPORTANT!

• A crib mobile is intended for visual stimulation and not to be grasped

by a child.

• Always attach by all provided fasteners (clamp) tightly to a crib or playpen

according to the instructions. Check frequently.

• Do not add additional strings or straps to attach to a crib or playpen.

Battery Tips:

• Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or

rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).

• Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove

exhausted batteries from the toy. Battery leakage and corrosion can dam-

age this toy. Dispose of batteries safely.

• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.The batteries may explode or leak.

• Never short circuit the battery terminals.

• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.

• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the

“Battery Installation” instructions are to be used.

• If removable rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged

under adult supervision.

• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before they

are charged.

• If you use a battery charger, it should be examined regularly for damage to

the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. Do not use a damaged battery

charger until it has been properly repaired.

• Locate the battery compartment door on the upper arm of the mobile.

• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screw-

driver. Remove the battery compartment door.

• Insert four “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries, as indicated inside the battery

compartment.

Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.

• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a

Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

• When sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to

change the batteries!

Battery Installation and Tips

Assembly

• Position the canopy so that it curves up.

• Slide the canopy onto the upper arm all the way

to the color wheel as shown.

• Rotate the canopy down onto the color wheel.

• Align the canopy slots with the color wheel tabs. Press the canopy onto the

color wheel to fit into place.

Attaching the Mobile to a Crib

• Fit the mobile against the top crib

rail so that the end of the threaded

peg extends out of the crib.

• Fit the clamp onto the threaded peg

and turn the clamp clockwise to

secure the mobile to the crib rail. Do

not over-tighten the clamp.

• Insert the #6 x 1/2” screw into the hole

in the upper arm as shown.Tighten

the screw with a Phillips screwdriver.

Do not over-tighten.

• Fit the slot in the upper arm onto the

tab on the lower arm. Press firmly to

“snap” and join the two parts.

• To be sure these parts are secure, try

to pull the upper and lower arms

apart. If the arms separate, repeat

this assembly step while being sure

to press the parts firmly together.

• Locate the music switch on the

upper arm.

• Slide the switch to Jungle Style

Music ; Traditional Lullabies

or to turn music off.

• Locate the start button on the

upper arm.

• Press the start button to activate the

mobile.

• The soft animal toys slowly spin.The

color wheel revolves to display stim-

ulating patterns and music plays (if

selected).

• The mobile will play for approxi-

mately five minutes.

• To restart the mobile, press the start

button again.

Use

• Locate the power/volume switch on

the mobile upper arm.

• The switch has three positions: off ;

on with low volume and on with

high volume .

• Slide the power/volume switch to the

off position when not in use.
