
To Mount the Barndoors on Your Reector
1. Remove the reector from the strobe
2. Lay the barndoors on a at surface, loosen the two screws enough to
slide in the reector, so the lip is trapped under the quick release bar
3. Tighten the two screws simultaneously until reector is held snugly in place,
without placing extreme tension on the quick release bar
4. Test the tension by sliding the quick release bar out of its lock, then re-locking it
5. Gently shake the reector to check that you have securely fastened the barndoors on
6. You can now mount the reector on the strobe. (For future use, the barndoors can be
mounted to the reector without removing it from the strobe.)
7. Extend or retract the barndoors to increase and decrease the light spread,
or slide in a lter or grid for various lighting eects.
8. To remove the barndoors, open the quick release bar. There is no need to adjust the screws.
