Installation
This equipment connects to a power supply. The wall panel is designed to attach to the wall at a
convenient height for the users. DO NOT use as standalone equipment. The Floor Pad sits on the
floor in front of the wall panel. Both pieces of equipment should be installed in a dry area (indoor
only).

Screw to wall through the holes.
Holes on the underside of the bracket
The wall panel must be attached to the wall using the supplied brackets. A six-inch speaker is located in
the front of the wall panel. Do not cover the speaker. This would drastically reduce the volume output of
the speaker. The wall panel uses a mains electrical supply reduced to safe low voltage. Make sure
your power supply is within 39 inches of the wall panel. We suggest the power supply is placed
within the electrical ducting or cable trunking.
• Attach the wall bracket to wall.
• Use screws and anchors appropriate for the type of wall construction where the
equipment will be hung. The wall panel weighs 68 lbs.
•Professional installation is recommended.
• Make sure the panel is high enough for the users.
• The electrical outlet should be to the left of the wall panel (viewing from the front).
Step 1
Important:
Due to the weight of the wall panel, it
is essential the wall bracket is attached
to the wall with appropriate hardware.
Installation should be completed by a
professional installer.
The wall panel is fitted with
brackets on the rear of the panel.
A wall bracket and 2x mirror plates.

Step 2Lift the panel onto the wall bracket. Hook the bracket located on the back of the
panel onto the wall bracket.
Note: Lift gently and set slowly into place. Make sure the brackets are securely
connected.
Step 3
Attach screws to wall the mirror plate holes.
Drill holes into the wall and use appropriate hardware (wall anchors) to screw the panel
onto the wall. The bottom brackets stop the panel from being lifted off the wall bracket.

Connect the power adapter and plug the power cord into the electrical outlet.

USB Charger Cord
The Floor Pad uses wireless remote technology to operate the wall panel. It comes with a
rechargeable battery that is charged using the supplied USB cord. A standard smartphone
charger is used to charge the pad (please make sure the USB port on the charger is compatible
with the USB cord). The pad automatically turns off after inactivity. The charge should last for
approximately 8 hours when in continual use.
Please charge overnight before using for the first time.

Charging the Floor Pad
Place the pad on a flat surface. Locate the zipper around the edge of the pad
Zipper
1) Open the zipper to half way across the
pad where you will find the charging socket
in the plastic cover behind the zipper.
After charging,
do not forget to close the zipper.

Panel Operation
The Musical Lightup Hopscotch uses a touch sensitive control panel where every function can be changed.
When turning on the display, the panel will show the last display used. For demonstration purposes, we will
use the sound bank menu.
When turning on or touching the standby button, the splash screen will display and then move on to the
Sound Bank Menu.
There are eight banks of eight sounds (64 total) to choose from. Touch one of the buttons to choose a
sound bank. Each bank has a range of sounds.

Cleaning
• We suggest a quick wipe every day after use . A more rigorous cleaning can be completed once a week.
• Before you start to clean unplug the equipment from the electrical outlet.
• To clean your SensaSoft™ Musical Lightup Hopscotch, use a soft, lint free white cloth and mild detergent
such as dish washing liquid.
• Never use an abrasive cloth or any solvent liquid such as mineral spirits or bleach. The light panel can
become damaged if appropriate cleaners or cloths are not used.
Maintenance
Your Hopscotch requires no maintenance further than a visual inspection for a damaged front panel or
case. Periodically, check all wall hardware and ensure the panel is secure. Make sure all electrical cords
are not damaged and still intact.
