1 Product Introduction
1.1Hardware Interface
A new series of ALL IN ONE INTELLIGENT Gateway BG9000 is an integrated access
device, IAD, which integrate voip and data with the complete IPPBX, datarouting, farewall
and VPN features. Comparing with other Voice equipments, BG9008N has integrated high
data capacity of WIFI 300Mbps. Multi-access way of BG9000 has includes Ethernet, Optical
and 3G.
According the FXS/ FXO quantity, BG9000 has five versions, BG9002N, BG9004N,
BG9008N, BG9016N and BG9032N. Moreover, BG9004N has 2FXS+2 FXO configuration
and BG9008N has 2FXO,4FXO or 6FXO. Other interfaces are demonstrated in the chart.

The first LED light is power light, which will be on when the device power on. The second
light is operation light, which twinkles when it operates successfully. The operation light is on
and off second by second.

The position of BG9000 is demonstrated from the diagram above. It can register from IMS or
other Soft Switch System. The FXS interface can connect to the analog phone and FAX
machine. Moreover, it can distribute SIP account and register from IAD device.
2 Configuration Introduction
The steps of setting voice function:
1. Setting IP. IP address is providered by operator or customer.
2. Setting IP trunk account. IP trunk account information is offered by operator or customer.
3. Setting DID and DOD.
4. Setting call routing.
5. Other setting. SNMP administrator,IVR,ringing group, FXO configuration, etc.
Setting can be done through Quick Configuration Wizard. Using Quick Configuration Wizard
to set WAN, IP trunk, extension set distribution, DID, DOD and call routing configuration.
3. Login WEB Management

The Web interface is ready for accessing about one minute after the device power on. The
default LAN IP address is 192.168.100.1, you can access the Web interface via LAN port.
Enter IP address in the address bar of web browser and then press ENTER, you can get access
to the Login interface. The default account number and password are both “super”.

4. WAN Configuration
You should make sure the network is smoothly before you want to open the business of IP
PBX.The device’ WAN interfaces has 5 sub interface: DATA, VOICE, MGMT, OTHER1,
OTHER2; The way of sub interface to get the IP include :Static IP, DHCP, PPPoE, PPTP,
L2TP. You can open one or more interface and choose the way of getting IP address according
to your actual networking condition. Take an example, we use a most common mothed to
introduce the IP configuration--only setting the DATA sub interface.
you can choose the menu Network→WAN to load the configuration show page.Then click
DATA

DATA sub interface has 5 ways to get the IP address.The most common way is:static IP,
DHCP and PPPoE.The detail connect method is provided by carrier or client.
5. Register IP Trunk Configuration
5.1 Registered Sever Configuration
Choose the menu quick configuration→Register IP Trunk→Registered Server or Sip Trunk
management→Register IP trunk→Register server, enter the register server configuration
page.The device has added a register server,click the server serial number and access into the
server configuration page. You can modify the configuration according to the real parameter
or add the parameter accourding the server’s real parameter.

Registering server should consider the actual conditions to choose backup server or proxy
server, as the operator’s IMS platform need to configure register server and proxy server. In
the example of figure 5, it just runs register server and proxy server. 172. 16. 0. 90.
5.2 Add IP Trunk Account
Choose the menu SIP Trunk→Register IP Trunk→IP trunk account or IP trunk
management→Register IP Trunk→Trunk account,click add access into the IP truck
configuration page.

IP trunk account, Authentication user name and password is provided by register server.It
much correct else the register will be failed.
Choose the menu SIP Trunk→Register IP Trunk→IP trunk account or IP trunk management
→Register IP Trunk→Trunk account,you can check the IP truck register status.

6. Extension Distribution and Configuration
6.1 Add Extension Account
BG9000’s extension account includes FXS and new added SIP user. The device has 2-32 FXS
users. If the user number is not enough, you can register from BG9000 through IAD device.
At this time, SIP account is needed. The existed extension set account can be seen by the
following steps. Manu==》extension management==》Account Assigned
Figure 8 is a BG9002N, which has two FXS accounts and no SIP account.

User can add, delete and modify accounts in this page. Choose the menu SIP Account→ SIP
Account Status to load the following page. If one equipment link with one device with 8
interfaces, it can add 8 SIP accounts. SIP account name is suggested to be English and number.
As it is shown in figure 9, it adds 8 SIP accounts, and the names are iad001 to iad008.

6.2 IAD or SIP Account assign and Registration
Adding SIP account needs other IAD or SIP phone register to BG9000 and it can be used
when the state is registered successfully. This part of configuration belongs to IAD or SIP
phone configuration. IAD or SIP phone has these configurations. (1) Connecting with IAD or
SIP phone need IP address to guarantee they can connect with LAN OR WAN. (2) Registered
server address is the IP address of BG9000 LAN or WAN. (3) Link with the IAD or SIP
phone need to set SIP account information including register account name,authorization and
password.
Choose Manu extension managemen==》extension status to check the extension state. You

can see the new added SIP account registration state. As shown in figure 10, 8 new added SIP
account was registered successfully in the IAD which IP is 192.168.100.101.

6.3 Extension Set Parameter Configuration
Choose Manu extension management== 》extension parameter, as to open the extension
configure page. In this page, any one extension can be configure or more at one time. In this
page, call routing, voice recording, forwarding can be set up. Moreover, the phone number of
extension can be configure. You will need to choose the extension set and click “amend in
batch”. Furthermore, the phone number can be changed in the extension set distribution page.
The extension set can call out only if its right is larger than the call routing right.
Choose the menu SIP Account→Account Parameter to load the following page.
The following items are displayed on this screen:
►Query: Search the interested accounts, which can be based on the account name, extension
number, registering status.
►Batch Edit: Configure multiple accounts at once for the same parameters. Select accounts,
on click
Batch Edit button to load the following page.
