REDUCING VALVE SPECIFICATION
S 400, S 1500, S 2500, JETCONTROL 600 are a single stage regulators
suitable for pressure reduction of technical gases at high operating
pressure up to 200 bar, resp. 300 bar. They are provided with inlet and
outlet manometer, adjusting control knob (for adjusting required operating
pressure), inlet and outlet connection and types S 400, S 1500 by safety
valve. The inlet connection complies with national regulators of the
country where the regulators valves is used.
All pressure regulators are designed for 200 bar, resp. 300 inlet pressure
and every regulator is carefully assembled and tested by skilled personnel.
PROCEDURE
Installation and operation
1.Ensure that the appropriate regulator is selected for the type of gas and
maximum outlet pressure of the cylinder to be used.
DO NOT USE A REGULATOR IN A GAS SERVICE FOR WHICH IT IS
NOT DESIGNED.
2. Gas cylinder must be in an upright position and secured.
3. Check that the cylinder is clean and free from oil or grease. Open the
cylinder valve briey to clean out any residual dirt or obstruction. Stand
clear of the outlet and wear eye protection for this operation.
4. Check cylinder valve threads and if there is any evidence of damage -
do not use - return the damaged cylinder to the supplier.
5. Inspect the regulator to ensure that it i s clean and free of damage.
6. Connect the regulator to the cylinder and tighten in accessories with
type of the connection by hand or by spanner nuts for hand tighten is
necessary tighten only by hand (the use of a spanner will over tighten
and damage the threads).
7. Connect downstream equipment to regulator outlet in readiness for op-
eration to be undertaken.
8. Unscrew regulator pressure adjusting control knob i. e. to zero pressure
(turn anticlockwise).
9. Open cylinder valve slowly to avoid a pressure gauge which could dam-
age the regulator.
10. Open downstream valves to ow position and adjust regulator to re-
quired pressure by the pressure adjusting control knob.
11. The regulator is now ready to supply gas to the downstream equip-
ment.
Closing down procedure
1. Follow recommendations from the manufacturer of downstream equip-

ment.
2. Close cylinder valve.
3. Open all downstream valves to release pressure in system.
4. Unscrew pressure adjusting control knob to close regulator valve.
5. Close all downstream valves.
lmportant - outlet connection
The outlet of this regulator i s a “PARKER CP1 SINGLE FERRULE TUBE
FITTING” suitable for 6,3 mm 0/D tube only. Another outlet could be re-
frigerant W 11 x 1 ,25. The outlet on the standard industrial S 400 is G
3/8 male cone.
Use only tube suitable for gas and pressure service. {200 or 300 bar) The
300 bar tube i s necessary to use for regulators with the in let pressure
300 bar and without relief valve. {i. c. S2500 and JC 600- 300 bar).
Use only nut and ferrule supplied to secure tube into regulator outlet.
Assembly instruction
1. Ensure olive and nut are correctly assembled on the regulators outlet
nipple.
2. Ensure tube end is cut clean and square.
3. lnsert the tube until it bottoms in the tting body.
4. Tighten the nut nger tight.
5. Further tighten the nut to 1.1/4 turns using suitable spanner.
6. Pressurise assembly and leak test.
WARRANTY
The product warranty period is 24 months from the date of sale.
The customer has to bring a proof of purchase.

BESCHREIBUNG DES DRUCKMINDERERS
S 400, S 1500, S 2500, JETCONTROL 600 sind einstuge Druckminderer
zum Regeln von technischen Gasen auf einen Arbeitsdruck von 200 bar,
bzw. 300 bar. Sie sind mitje einer Eingangs- und Abgangsdruckanzeige,
einer Regelschraube zum Einstellen des gewunschten Arbeitsuberdrucks,
je einem Zuleitungs- und Ableitungsanschluss und die Bauarten S 400 und
S 1 500 mit einer Sicherung ausgestattet. Der Zuleitungsanschluss wird
im Einklang mit den nationalen Normen des Einsatzlandes ausgefUhrt.
Alle genannten Druckminderer sind fůr den Zuleitungsdruck von 200
bar, bzw. 300 bar bestimmt. Jeder Druckminderer wird sorgfaltig
zusammenmontiert und von qualizierten Mitarbeitern uberpruft.
PROCEDURE
lnstrallation und Bedienung
1.Prufen Sie bitte, ob der angeschlossene Druckmindererl, der Gasart
und dem Maximaldruck am Flaschenventil entsprechen.
DO NOT USE A REGULATOR IN A GAS SERVICE FOR WHICH IT IS
NOT DESIGNED.
2. Die Druckaschen sind senkrecht aufzustellen und gegen Umkippen
zu sichern.
3. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Flaschenventil sauber und 61- und fettfrei
ist. Óffnen Sie kurz das Flaschenventil, wodurch etwaige Unreinig-
keiten entfernt werden. Bei diesem Schritt stehen Sie niemals vor dem
Ventilaustritt und setzen Sie eine Schutzbrille an.
4. Prufen Sie das Ausrittsgewinde der Druckasche. Bei eventuellen Be-
schadigungen, setzen Sie diese Druckasche nicht ein und schicken
Sie sie an lhren Lieferanten zuruck.
5. Prufen Sie, ob der Druckminderer sauber und unbeschadigt ist.
6. SchieBen Sie den Druckminderer an die Druckasche an und zie-
hen Sie ihn je nach Anschlussbauart mit einem Schlussel oder mit der
Hand fest. Die Mutter Handanschlusses ist ausschlieBiich von Hand
festzuziehen (bei Schlusseleinsatz wird das Gewinde ubermaBig
beansprucht und dadurch beschadigt).
7. Am Druckmindereraustritt i st weiteres Zubehor anzuschlieBen, wo-
durch gesamte Gerat betriebsbereit ist.
8. Lockern Sie die Regelschraube des Druckminderers, d. h. stellen Sie
den Nulldruck ein (im Urzeigersinn drehen).
9. Offnen Sie langsam das Druckaschenventil, um einen Druckstoß zu
vermieden, welcher den Druckminderer beschadigen konnte.
10. Öffnen Sie weitere Ventile hinter dem Druckminderer und stellen Sie
mit der Regelschraube den gewunschten Druck ein.

11. Auf diese Art und Weise ist der Druckminderer betriebsbereit einges-
tellt.
Außerbetriebnahme
1. Beachten Sie die Anweisungen des Herstellers der an den Druckmind-
erer angeschlossenen Anlage.
2. SchlieBen Sie das Druckaschenvetil.
3. Offnen Sie alle hinter dem Druckminderungsventil angeschlossenen
Ventile, wodurch das Anlagendruck abgelassen wird.
4. Lockern Sie die Regelschraube des Druckminderers.
5. SchlieBen Sie bitte alle Ventile hinter dem Druckminderer.
Wichtiger Hinweis - Austrittanschluss
Den Ausgang des Druckminderers ist mit der Originalverschraubung
“CP1” der rma PARKER ausgestattet, die nur tur Rohre mit einem lnnen-
durchmesser von 6,3 mm eingesetzt werden kann, oder W 11 x 1 ,25. Den
Ausgang tur S400 i st G 3/8.
Setzen Sie nur Rohre ein, die tur die bestimmte Gasart und DrOcke bis
200 bar, bzw. 300 bar zugelassen sind. Oas Rohr tur 300 bar i st bei
Ventilen mit dem Zuleitungsdruck von 300 bar einzusetzen, welche mit
keinem Sicherheitsventil (d. h. S 2500 und JC 600- 300 bar) ausgestattet
sind.
Für die Montage des Rohres an der Abgangsseite sind die im Anschluss
beinhaltete Mutter und der Dichtungsring, die zum Umfang des Austrit-
tanschlusses gehoren, einzusetzen.
Montageanweisungen
1. Prüfen Sie, ob am Austritt des Druckminderers der Dichtungsring und
die Mutter richtig montiert sind.
2. Prüfen Sie, ob das Rohrende sauber und senkrecht abgeschnitten ist.
3. Setzen Sie das Rohr in den Zuleitungsanschluss bis zum Anschalg ein.
4. Ziehen Sie die Muttervon Hand test.
5. Mit geeignetem SchiOssel ziehen Sie die Mutter noch um 1 ,25 Um-
drehung nach.
6. Setzen Sie das Gerat unter Druck und fOhren Sie die Dichtheitsprüfung
durch.
