Thank you for choosing the GE Bluetooth
Sport Headset, model 86711. This innovative
design allows you the freedom to talk on your
phone, and its unique stylish design makes
the headset barely noticeable. The Sport
Headset also comes with a power bank for
On-the-Go charging for your convenience.
Combining the charge capacity of the headset
with the power bank you can have up to 15
hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of
standby time. The Sport Headset is designed
to fit securely in your ear for worry free use;
when you are not using the headset simply
clip it into the power bank to maintain the
charge and for easy access when receiving
a call.

Charging the Headset & Power Bank
Note: There may be some charge on the headset and the power
bank; you will still need to charge the batteries before using the
headset or the power bank. On the initial charge, charge the
Headset and Power Bank for at least 16 hours. The power bank can
be charged by its self.
• Place the headset into the power bank
with the contacts facing each other.
• Plug the AC charging adapter into the DC
power port on the power bank
• The blue LED will illuminate to indicate
the charging has started.
• During charging, the blue LED light will
remain on, when the charging is com-
plete; the blue LED light will be off.
Charging the Power Bank
1. Plug the round barrel connector into the
DC charging port on the power bank.
2. Plug the AC adapter into any standard AC
outlet (120V)
3. Charge until the blue LED indicator light
goes off.

Pairing the Headset
1. Before pairing the headset, make sure the
headset is fully charged.
2. Enable the Bluetooth function on your
phone according to the phone’s manufac-
turer’s instructions.
3. Turn on the headset by pressing and
holding the Function Button, for approxi-
mately 10 seconds. You should see the
LED flashing blue and red. The headset is
now in the paring mode.
4. On the mobile phone being paired to
the headset, follow the manufacturer’s
instructions. You will eventually be asked
to enter a pin number.
5. Enter this pin number when prompted.

6. When the pairing is successful, your
phone should display the name of the
headset as BTH11
a. The blue LED will slowly flash on and off.
Note: You do not have to pair the headset to the phone again
once it is paired. Some phone models may require reconnecting
the phone to the headset; refer to the phone’s manufacturer’s
instructions. If you wish to pair the headset to another phone, turn
off the phone the headset was originally paired with and follow the
pairing instructions according to the new phone’s manufacturer’s
instructions. When prompted for the pin number, use the same
number (1234) as in step 5.

Turning On/Off Headset
Turning On
• Press and hold the Function Button until
you hear a short low beep.
• The blue LED will begin to flash indicating
the headset is turned on.
Turning Off
• Press and hold the Function Button until
you hear a short high beep followed by a
low beep.
• The blue LED will no longer be illuminated
indicating the headset is now turned off.
Answering, Hanging-up & Rejecting Calls
Answering Calls
• When you are receiving a call press and
release the Function Button on the head-
set.
• You should be able to talk to the caller.
• Note: If you answer the call by the phone
and not through the headset, the call can
not be transferred to the headset once the
call has been answered.
• If you want to reject the call, press and
hold the Function Button for about
2 to 3 seconds

Placing Calls
• Press and release the Function Button on
the headset.
• Dial the number on the phone; once the
number has been dialed, you should be
able to hear the ringing of the number
dialed.
• If your phone has voice dialing feature,
you can use this headset with the voice
dialing feature. For voice dialing follow
the steps below.
• Make sure the headset is connected to the
phone
• Press the Function Button once on the
headset; you should hear a short tone.
• After the tone, use the voice dialing as
normal.
• Follow the phone’s manufacturer’s in-
structions for voice dialing.
• Note: This headset may not work with
certain models of phones using the voice
dialing feature.
• Note: If you place the call before turning
on your headset, the call can not be trans-
ferred to the headset.

Adjusting the Volume
• You can adjust the volume anytime during
the conversation by pressing and releas-
ing the top button for volume up.
• To adjust the volume down, press and
release the bottom button.
• It is recommended that you do not turn
the volume all the way up for your safety
and to prevent hearing loss.
Transferring Calls
You may transfer calls from your headset
to your mobile phone or from your mobile
phone to your headset.
Note: Not all mobile phones may support this feature;
please refer to the mobile phone users manual.
• To transfer calls to your headset from
your mobile phone, press and hold the
volume up button until you hear a beep;
you should now be able to converse using
your mobile phone.
• To transfer calls from your mobile phone
to your headset, press and release the
(function button) once and you should
now be able to converse using your head-
set.
