1 SAFETY RELATED INFORMATION
•PRiMA16 alarm control panel is an electric evice,
that requires AC 230V 50Hz supply for its operation.
•Lack of care uring installation may impose serious
hazar for health or life!
•An alarm panel shoul only be installe by a quali-
fie technician.
•All operations that require an access to primary
(mains) circuits shall only be performe with the cir-
cuit shut own, e.g. by using a circuit breaker.
•It is forbi en to use fuses with ifferent rating than
specifie in the technical ocumentation an /or
nameplate.
•A great care shoul be pai to proper selection of
the mains transformer, an to use a properly rate
security circuit (if a transformer with multiple sec-
on ary circuits is use ).
•After the installation is complete , the enclosure
which contains mains connection shall be secure
to avoi access by unauthorize person.
•All packaging materials (plastic bags, bubble wrap),
after unpacking, shall be kept away from the reach
of chil ren.

2 MANUFACTURER'S RESPONSIBILITY
A security system is a complex installation, containing
multiple components that require proper selection an
configuration. The installation shall be performe by a
qualifie technician, able to consi er multiple technical
requirements of a particular site. GENEVO takes no re-
sponsibility for improper configuration or behavior of a
security installation.

HANDLING OF WASTE ELECTRONIC
EQUIPMENT AND WASTE BATTERIES.
PRiMA16 system components are electronic evices,
ma e accor ing to the requirements of WEEE irective
on han ling of waste electronic equipment.
As a confirmation, the equipment is labele with a
crosse -out wheelie bin symbol, as require by the i-
rective.
This symbol on the pro uct, its packaging or
ocumentation means that it shoul not be
ispose of with a househol waste. It is your
responsibility to ispose of the waste equip-
ment separately from the municipal waste.
Contact your local authorities to fin the nearest place
of collection of waste electronic equipment, or look up
the list publishe on www.genevo.eu .
The security system may be equippe with a
lea -aci battery as a backup power source.
The waste battery shall be properly ispose
as require by the 2006/66/EC irective with
further up ates.

4 GENERAL INFORMATION
PRiMA16 by GENEVO is a mo ern intru er alarm con-
trol panel inten e for security installations for small
an me ium-size premises: flats, houses, shops,
workshops etc. Its feature list covers typical nee s of
these systems. It stan s out of the competition by it's
easy installation, straightforwar an intuitive pro-
gramming an , unmatche user frien liness. A huge
a vantage of PRiMA is the integrate GSM communi-
cator, allowing reporting to central station, personal
notification using voice channel an text messages,
an remote control using mobile phones. All this make
the protection by PRiMA truly effective.
System operation is performe by the means of LCD
keypa s with graphical user interface, which make the
access to all system functions easy an intuitive.
5 FEATURES AND GENERAL
